Suzuki Motorcycle India
has launched a new edition of its Access scooter, featuring a Bluetooth-enabled coloured TFT digital instrument cluster.
The update introduces a 4.2-inch coloured Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) display designed to provide essential information to riders. The display offers improved visibility in various lighting conditions.
New colour option added
Alongside the instrument cluster upgrade, Suzuki has introduced a new Pearl Mat Aqua Silver colour to the Access range. This colour joins the existing palette of Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, and Solid Ice Green.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the OBD-2B compliant version of the Suzuki GSX-8 and the price stays unchanged at Rs. 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle gets the same 776 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine as the V-Strom 800 DE, making 81 hp at 8,500 rpm along with 78 Nm of peak torque at 6,800 rpm. The motor gets a 270-degree crank configuration along with Suzuki's patented cross balancer shaft. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox, with a bi-directional quick-shifter. Deepak Mutreja, Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, "The OBD-2B update on the GSX-8R enhances its performance with improved emission monitoring, keeping it aligned with the latest regulatory requirements. This ensures that customers continue to enjoy a refined and responsive riding experience that also meets evolving environmental standards." In terms of cycle parts, the GSX-8R gets 17-inch cast Aluminium wheels, shod with Dunlop Roadsport 2 radial rubber. Then, there is a forged Aluminium handlebar along with Showa separate function big-piston USD fork up front and a link-type monoshock at the rear. There is a lightweight Aluminium swingarm as well. The Suzuki GSX-8R gets twin 310 mm discs up front with 4-piston callipers and a 240 mm disc at the rear with a single piston calliper. The Suzuki GSX-8R gets the company's intelligent ride system, with three riding modes, 4-step switchable traction control, ride-by-wire, ABS and low-rpm assist. There is a 5-inch colour TFT-LCD console on offer as well. Its nearest rivals are the Triumph Daytona 660 along with the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Aprilia RS 660. The Ninja is the most affordable model, followed by the Suzuki and then the Daytona 660. The Aprilia is the most expensive model in this segment.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the new Suzuki GSX-8R in the Indian market. The fully faired middleweight sports tourer is now OBD2B compliant, and there are no changes in terms of pricing, components, or equipment. The bike continues to be priced at Rs 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom), and Interested customers can book the bike online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to begin soon. Talking about the engine, the bike is powered by a 776cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine with a 270-degree crank that puts out 81.8bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 78Nm of torque at 6,800rpm. It gets a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter. Features-wise, it comes with LED headlights and taillights, an LCD digital cluster, three levels of traction control, three ride modes, ABS, and more. The GSX-8R is based on a steel chassis paired with Showa suspension components, including an upside-down front fork and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are taken care by 310 mm twin discs up front and a 240 mm single disc at the rear. It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Dunlop RoadSport 2 radial tyres. The bike also continues to be offered in three colour options - Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black.
