In case you've somehow missed out on the KPop Demon Hunters craze so far, this animated film follows K-pop girl group HUNTR/X, whose members moonlight as demon hunters. The girls face a new challenge when a group of demons poses as a K-pop boy band, targeting their fans.

Tickets for the KPop Demon Hunters sing-along event went live today, Aug. 13. While some of the showings are already sold out, there are still tickets available via the event's homepage and Fandango.

Will there be a sequel?
While there's currently no sequel in the works for the hit Netflix film, it's definitely a possibility.
"KPDH's success comes from its original, fresh story, so if we do embark on a sequel, we would want to take our time to make sure that any future stories we tell with our favorite demon hunters retains the flair and uniqueness of the first film," Dan Lin, chairman of Netflix Films, said in a statement to Newsweek.
"I think it's going to be part of our lives for a bit. I don't see the fandom slowing down," KPop Demon Hunters co-director Maggie Kang told The Hollywood Reporter. "We hit an all-time high in viewership in week five, which is absolutely insane."

'It's a spiritual sequel to Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood in so far as they take place in the same world and they take place in the same town. But there were no crossover characters. Cliff Booth was never in The Movie Critic. That's all a bunch of bull****. That never was the case ever, ever, ever.' Tarantino added, 'I was so excited about the writing, but I wasn't really that excited about dramatizing what I wrote once we were in pre-production.' After The Movie Critic was teased as Tarantino's farewell film in 2023, with Brad Pitt attached to star, Deadline exclusively reported last April that the auteur simply had a change of heart and opted not to move forward with the project. Sources close to the director said he was going back to the drawing board to figure out what that final movie will be. Tarantino said the movie was set in 1977 California, 'based on a guy who really lived but was never really famous, and he used to write movie reviews for a porno rag.' Although a spiritual sequel to Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (2019) isn't in the cards for Tarantino's final directorial outing, Pitt is reprising his role as stuntman Cliff Booth for the upcoming Netflix movie off-shoot The Adventures of Cliff Booth, directed by David Fincher. Kaytranada Returns With New Album ‘Ain't No Damn Way'
For the second summer in a row, Haitian-Canadian producer Kaytranada is getting people dancing with a new studio album. The Grammy-winning DJ has released his fourth album Ain't No Damn Way!, the follow-up to last year's Timeless. Kaytranada gave little warning for the release, announcing the LP earlier this week and dropping lead single 'Space Invader' shortly thereafter. Like with Timeless, Kaytranada plays with a wide range of sounds and rhythms on the project, from more upbeat tracks like 'Championship' and 'Don't Worry Babe / I Got U Babe' to laid-back offerings like 'Things' and 'Shine Your Light For We.' He even samples TLC's 'Let's Do It Again' on closing track 'Do It! (Again!).' In recent years, Kaytranada has fully stepped into his power, unafraid to create beats or make musical tweaks that he feel might not resonate with listeners or collaborators. 'I always used to be very shy in the studio and sometimes let the artists just do their thing because I didn't want to correct them or anything. It took me a while to understand, OK, I got to be the one that says 'Do it like this,'" he told Rolling Stone last year. "I don't have a leader mentality. I'm learning to do that now.' Now, Kaytranada is 'trying to make Grammy-winning albums.' 'I just want to be remembered as one of the greats in terms of producing, not only dance and electronic but also just production in general,' he told Billboard. Kaytranada hits the road with Justice on a co-headlining tour across North America this fall. It all kicks off Oct. 16 in Vancouver and wraps up Nov. 16 in Miami. Before then, fans can listen to the producer featured on Teyana Taylor's forthcoming album Escape Room, due out next week.

Sean Kingston Sentenced to 42 Months in Prison for Fraud Scheme Topping $1 Million
Sean Kingston was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison Friday after he and his mother were convicted of defrauding multiple vendors of more than $1 million in luxury items ranging from high-end watches to a bulletproof Cadillac Escalade. In a filing earlier this week, the 'Beautiful Girls' singer pleaded with the judge to spare him any time behind bars. Kingston, 35, urged the judge to reject the five-to-six years in federal detention recommended by probation officials and sentence him to home detention along with an order to pay restitution. The judge set a restitution hearing for Oct. 16. 'We are content that the court did not go with the government's request of five years and sentenced Sean below the sentencing guidelines instead,' Kingston's lawyer Zeljka Bozanic said in a statement sent to Rolling Stone. 'It is important to note that most of the restitution in this case was paid back, even before these charges were brought. Sean is taking this as a learning experience and will continue moving forward in a positive direction. We are actively reviewing all available options, including potential appeals, to ensure his rights are fully protected.' Kingston, whose legal name is Kisean Anderson, argued in a Monday court filing that leniency was warranted in his case because he had accepted responsibility for his actions, his crimes were non-violent, and several family members depend on him financially. He also cited his history of charitable work. 'Mr. Anderson is deeply remorseful for his conduct and involvement in this scheme and has had time to step back and reflect on his actions and how to make amends,' the filing said. 'Mr. Anderson accepted responsibility in this case and has made all the positive steps toward learning and growing from this situation.' At a separate hearing last month, Kingston's mother, Janice Turner, was sentenced to five years in prison and three years of probation. Turner apologized to the court for her conduct. 'I'm sorry. My intention was to keep my son afloat in this difficult industry,' she said. 'They used him and abused him. I am begging for mercy for me and my son.' Kingston and his mother were indicted last year on charges they engaged in a wire fraud scheme between April 2023 and March 2024. Prosecutors said Anderson reached out to his victims online and negotiated the purchase of high-end merchandise such as the Escalade, jewelry, and a massive, 232-inch LED TV. Officials said Anderson would invite the victims to his high-end homes in the Broward County area and use his celebrity status to lull them into trusting him. When payment was due for the merchandise, Anderson or his mother would text the victims fake wire receipts, according to court filings. When the funds never materialized, the victims filed lawsuits or turned to law enforcement. A jury convicted the mother-son duo after less than four hours of deliberations on March 28. According to Florida outlet Local10, Turner was immediately remanded to federal custody as Anderson cried out, 'Protect my mother.' Kingston burst onto the music scene at age 17 in 2007 when his monster hit 'Beautiful Girls' – a reggae-infused pop single that sampled the 1961 song 'Stand by Me' by Ben E.
