'I'd leave town that day if I was any of you lot.'
In a second post on X, he added: 'I'd love to see a picture of all the people on the Edinburgh council bet there's some real stunning individuals.'

TV tonight: how Serena Williams nearly became a punk guitarist
11.10pm, BBC One The Williams sisters are almost always approached as a pair, sharing a destiny from early childhood. In this series, Serena tells her own story – though, of course, Venus chips in. The opening episode looks at the influence of their father Richard, who saw tennis as his family's passport out of Compton. But Serena initially had other ideas: she is a Green Day fan and fancied herself as a punk guitarist. 'All my dreams weren't on the tennis court,' she says. Phil Harrison 8.35pm, BBC Two With their reunion concerts looming, what better time to revisit the couple of years when Oasis felt furiously essential. This compilation of the band's trips to the BBC leans heavily on their 1994-5 output – including buskers' favourite Wonderwall. PH 9pm, Channel 5 A feature-length documentary that investigates every aspect of the life of Prince William and reports as follows: everything he has ever done or said is almost unbearably brilliant. If you're a royalist, it's one long sigh of pleasure; if not, you'll feel as if you've taken mind-altering drugs. Jack Seale 9.25pm, BBC One In the final episode of this delicate Australian drama, the day of the 'last anniversary party' arrives, bringing with it the reveals of some long-held mysteries. As Veronika learns the truth of Alice and Jack's story, Deborah brings Thomas's crush on Sophie to light, while Margie and Enigma unearth Ron's secret plans. Hannah J Davies 10.25pm, Channel 4 The remarkable Rhod Gilbert filmed this standup set in Cardiff in 2022. It mined laughter from a difficult period in his life – he'd lost his mum, had a stroke and struggled with infertility. Sadly, a cancer diagnosis was just round the corner, which gives the show added poignancy. PH Piece By Piece, 8.25am, 4.20pm, Sky Cinema Premiere We've had Robbie Williams played by a CGI chimp so why not Pharrell Williams as a collection of small plastic bricks? This weird but joyous documentary from Morgan Neville uses Lego to encapsulate the life of the wildly successful Neptunes producer and musician. Williams having synaesthesia – he experiences sound as colour – means the film can go off on visual flights of fancy; the beats he creates becoming rainbow fireworks or vibrant waves. All this trippy imagery covers up the fact that his rise to stardom has been fairly frictionless, but contributions from Lego versions of Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg et al attest to his offbeat worldview and hyperactive creativity. Simon Wardell Saint Omer, 9pm, BBC Four Why would a mother leave her 15-month-old daughter on a beach to drown? That's the central question in French film-maker Alice Diop's murky, moving courtroom drama, as a young Senegalese woman, Laurence (Guslagie Malanda), is put on trial. Lecturer Rama (Kayije Kagame) attends in the hope of writing a book about it, but uneasy resonances with her own life – immigrant family, pregnancy, mixed-race relationship – throw her off-track. Even the evasive, inconsistent Laurence appears unsure as to why she committed such a horrific act. Love Island fans left completely baffled by 'horrendous' outfit amid villa chaos
Love Island fans were left baffled by Harry's outfit choice during Friday night's episode as he opted for a floral blazer and trousers in the blazing heat in Mallorca After last night's fallout, the drama continued on tonight's Love Island. Things got heated in last night's challenge, Look Who's Talking, as the Islanders continued to reel from the confessions. It was Harry who took centre stage over his wild words to Yasmin - but it was his outfit that had fans talking tonight. In the evening, Harry asked Helena to go for a chat on the terrace with him to smooth things over. He asked if they could still be friends, but even Helena couldn't focus on anything other than his outfit. For the night, Harry opted for a matching floral two piece - but his outfit, much like his behaviour lately, left fans and viewers less than impressed. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "Harry when you're done my nan would like her curtains back #loveisland #loveislanduk," while a second joked: "I would have rejected Harry for a chat based on that awful outfit... #LoveIsland." Another unimpressed fan said: "Harry's outfit is HORRIFIC #LoveIsland," while a fourth joked: "Harry's outfit isn't a good ad for eBay's preloved." One shocked viewer penned: "For once I agree with those girls, like what was Harry thinking with that floral outfit???" The girls were in agreement, calling the outfit disgusting, as Megan said his fashion sense was "s**t." It comes after a chaotic week for Harry, as yesterday, it was revealed that he and Yasmin had shared three kisses in the Hideaway, and tonight, Helena exclaimed she was done. 'I'm so done, all he's done is embarrass me," she told the girls. However, it wasn't just Helena who needed a chat with her partner, as Meg gave Dejon a stark warning. 'If you go in Harry's footsteps you know we'll be over, I'm not gonna be Helena, you're not getting away with it," she said. Elsewhere, Yasmin was fed up of taking the heat for the boys' actions. In a chat with Toni, she said: 'They'll go back to them [the boys]…I'm so over it…I'm so sick of always being the one to take the heat…' However, it looks like Harry may have moved on once again, and this time, it was back to Shakira. The pair coupled up on Day 2, causing Sophie to be dumped from the villa. However, things didn't work out after he became close to Helena. Shakira then went back to her original partner Ben, but the pair seem to have found their way back to each other. 'I wanted to see how you were feeling, I think initially you were number one and I f****d it," a regretful Harry told her. It comes after Shakira and Ben also had a falling out last night following her chat with new bombshell Harrison. Is the villa set for a mix up once again?

Sabrina Carpenter breaks British icon's album chart record amid controversy
Sabrina Carpenter has left a forever mark on the UK charts, breaking the record for the longest consecutive streak in the top five album chart. Her hit album, Short N' Sweet, has now spent a massive 43 consecutive weeks at the top, according to the Official Charts Company. The 26-year-old singer's achievement officially topples Ed Sheeran from the top spot. Sheeran's 2021 album, =, had a record-setting 42-week stay in the top five, a claim which he managed to hold onto until Sabrina's album came along. Oasis have stormed back into the UK albums chart, climbing to number two with their greatest hits collection Time Flies… 1994–2009, as anticipation builds for their upcoming Oasis Live '25 reunion tour. The Britpop icons, who disbanded in 2009, officially confirmed their return in August 2024. The long-awaited tour kicks off in Cardiff this July, with major shows lined up in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Topping the UK albums chart for the first time this week is musician James Marriott, whose debut album Don't Tell The Dog takes the number one spot. The news comes just days after Sabrina revealed the cover for her upcoming album Man's Best Friend, which sparked enormous backlash. The image, which depicts Carpenter on her knees, in a short black dress and heels, holding the leg of a suited man as he yanks her hair, is shocking many fans. On Instagram, @edersoaresx wrote, 'Lol this cover art is so disgusting. As a fan I don't like it :(.' Reddit user Potential-Friend-133 said, 'The first image is very triggering for me. I hate this. A LOT.' More Trending Others have argued that the album cover is satirical or even a moment of political commentary. On the singles chart, Alex Warren reclaims the top spot with Ordinary landing at number one, followed by Sabrina Carpenter's latest hit Manchild in second place. Ravyn Lenae's Love Me Not holds steady at number three, while Chappell Roan's Pink Pony Club remains firmly at number four. Got a story?
