Christie Brinkley Addresses Billy Joel's Brain Disorder
TV star Christie Brinkley is rooting for ex-husband Billy Joel. Doctors recently diagnosed him with a brain disorder. The 71-year-old former model took to Instagram to share a message for her 'piano man.' She wished that he would make a 'speedy recovery' and return to the spotlight.
Christie Brinkley has nevertheless remained close friends with Billy Joel even three decades after their marriage ended. Recently, the Parks and Recreation star posted a touching tribute to her second husband. Brinkley wrote, 'Dear Billy, the whole Brinkley gang is sending you lots of love and good wishes for a full and speedy recovery.'
The Nightcap star shared a throwback clip of Joel's phenomenal stage presence. In the caption, she gushed, 'You turn an arena of strangers into a living room full of friends as we all sway in unison.' The actress added, 'I'm sure I'm speaking for everyone in that room when I say please take good care of yourself, we all want you back in that white hot spotlight.'
She concluded the note calling the Grammy winner by his nickname, 'piano man.' Brinkley wrote, 'You're OUR piano man. And we're always in the mood for your melodies, and we all hope you're feeling alright!'
Meanwhile, Billy Joel was recently diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH). The 'Ruthless People' hitmaker canceled all of his upcoming tour dates. He was scheduled to perform upcoming shows in the Bronx, Pittsburgh, Detroit, New Orleans, and more.
However, experts believe that there are treatments available for NPH. Northwestern Medicine neurological surgery expert Dr. Matthew Potts talked about the possible ways to treat NPH. Potts claimed, 'NPH has a treatment, which is draining excess fluid from the brain using a surgically inserted shunt.'
On the same note, the musician's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, has also shared that his father could make a 'full recovery.' Ray Joel stated that her father is going through physical therapy treatments.
She assured fans that the 'Uptown Girl' singer will continue the treatments 'to regain his strength.' Dedicating a message to Joel's global fans, she wrote, 'The genuine care, empathy, and concern from everyone means so much to him.'

The former pro player and current influencer also revealed what impressed her most about Woods—and it wasn't precisely his golf skills. "He gave me a chipping lesson once. It was like the greatest experience of my life," Spiranac said. "He smells so good, by the way... like that was the first thing I noticed." "I remember he hugged me, and he smelled so good, and I didn't take my jacket off or wash it for an embarrassingly long time because I was like, 'I feel and smell like a winner,'" she added. Of course, the moment also involved the highest quality of golf. Spiranac described the lesson she received from Tiger Woods just as you would expect from such an opportunity. "We were doing this low little spinny shot and so we opened the club up almost like on your back, open stance, narrow choke down, and you take it out and almost slice across it and it's you hit it with like a 54 [degree wedge] it comes out low and then checks on the second bounce. It's a really cool shot. He did [demonstrate it] and it was perfect." Paige Spiranac is the golf personality with the most followers on social media. Imprisoned reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley have been pardoned by President Donald Trump—just over two years after they were sentenced to a collective 19 years behind bars for tax evasion and bank fraud. The TV personalities, who shot to fame in 2014 with their hit reality series 'Chrisley Knows Best,' were found guilty in 2022 of conspiring to defraud Georgia banks out of more than $36 million in personal loans and tax evasion. They finally managed to sell their Brentwood property in 2023, netting $5.2 million for the home in an off-market transaction that was arranged while the duo was behind bars. Todd and Julie have a long history of buying and selling homes in Atlanta, before they moved to Nashville. In 2006, Todd purchased a 16-acre estate in the upscale Buckhead neighborhood. He paid an eye-watering $9 million for the eight-bedroom European-style mansion. 8 After making a name for themselves on reality TV, the couple moved from Atlanta to Nashville in 2016, and will be living with Savannah in the family's Lynwood Boulevard mansion. According to reports, he lost the property to foreclosure in 2012. In the show's first season, the family lived regally in a nine-bedroom, 30,000-square-foot pile in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell.
