The film earned over Rs 20.5 crore on day 1, making it the highest opening for a Hindi film with a male debutant lead, as well as the highest opening day figure for any film directed by Mohit Suri. Sussanne Khan gushed over Ahaan Panday and called him a 'superstar'. She also praised Aneet Padda for her performance. On Saturday, Sussanne Khan took to her Instagram stories to share a video clip of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer Saiyaara. She wrote, 'We have a new superrr star…@ahaanpandayy you stole our hearts…@aneetpadda you are absolutely gorgeous n so real! #Saiyaara." In another story, she wrote, 'this is Epic!!!" She also reacted to a post that stated Saiyaara is the 'biggest debut since Kaho Na Pyaar Hai.' She wrote, 'Congratulations @deannepanday soooo happy for you all @ahaanpandayy." Saiyaara recorded the highest advance bookings for any debutant-led film. Not only is the film shattering box office opening day records, it is also garnering great reviews from the audience and critics alike.
A few hours ago, Kunal Kemmu praised Saiyaara stars Ahaan and Aneet. Impressed by their performances, he wrote that they are blessed to be launched by the same director, Mohit Suri, who launched his career in Kalyug, back in 2005. 'Last night I watched two new actors announce their arrival on the big screen and boy are they good. @aneetpadda and @ahaanpandayy you both are a powerhouse and blessed to be moulded in the hands of the same man who launched me back in 2005 with an incredible story and music just as fine as this one @mohitsuri", he wrote.
