Fans hoping to get their daily teatime fix of quizzes have been left sorely disappointed and will continue to be, with no plans for either show to make a return this week.

So has Tipping Point - in a week of shake-ups

Both Tipping Point and The Chase have been shelved from airing all week.
Fronted by Ben Shephard, Tipping Point usually screens for one hour at 4pm to see if anyone can win the jackpot prize.
ITV then continues its quizzing line-up with award-winning hit The Chase at 5pm.
Bradley Walsh hosts as a team of contestants take on one of the Chasers in hopes of taking home a huge sum of money if they can beat them in the final chase.
But neither show will air as a result of live coverage of Royal Ascot.
ITV has been forced to revamp their afternoon schedule entirely in order to accommodate broadcasting the horse racing event.
It has even seen daytime show Loose Women axed all week.
In order to air the racing, This Morning has been extended by 30 minutes each day until 1pm.
This is followed by a 30 minute edition of ITV News airing at the earlier timeslot as opposed to its usual 1:30pm posiiton.
Royal Ascot coverage then takes over right up until 6pm.
The Chase embroiled in 'fix' row as viewers say ITV should be ashamed of 'ridiculously easy' questions - but would you get them-
ITV News then airs its evening updates between 6pm and 7:30pm as usual followed by the day's soaps.
It comes as Loose Women bosses are also reportedly axing a huge part of the show amid ITV budget cuts.
Producers have decided to drop the live studio audience next year as part of a series of cost-cutting changes to its daytime programming.
The show will return in 2026 with a reduced run of just 30 episodes - and without the 100-capacity crowd.
It follows broader budget reductions across the channel, which also include halving Lorraine's airtime to 30 minutes and airing it only during school term times.
Producers' decision to drop the audience is understood to be a cost-saving measure, as it is managed by an external company that provides security and a warm-up act.
ITV's daytime TV schedule changes in full
Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes to run from 6am to 9.30am daily.
Lorraine will run from 9.30am-10am, on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.
During the weeks Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am.
This Morning will remain in its 10am-12.30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year.
Loose Women will be in the 12.30-1.30pm slot, again on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.
The changes will take effect from January 2026.

Chelsee had gone to Manchester Crown Court today to watch Rainford's sentencing. Rainford's plea came just days after Chelsee was eliminated from Dancing on Ice. The Waterloo Road star had hinted that she was struggling following her exit from the hit ITV show. She said: "There has been a lot going on with me that I have been struggling with.' An insider also told The Sun the pair were no longer in a relationship. It can now be revealed that Rainford had previously been sentenced to six years for violent offences while serving with Royal Marines but was released in July 2022. The court heard he and Boyd, 28, supplied 'multi-kilos' of cannabis worth up to £45,000. Gwen Henshaw, prosecuting, described it as 'boutique' operation that involved selling various varieties of the drug, including 'Cali weed', 'Oreo Cookies' and 'Orange Cake'. The pair had discussed drug deals, with police finding photos of large wads of cash. Rainford also told a potential customer the drugs were "decent bro". Chelsee had kept Rainford's identity a secret when they began dating in 2021. His first name was revealed following Cookie's birth in December 2023 when he was seen in the background of photos from their baby shower. Chelsee, who has another daughter Coco, previously told how their relationship was the "most supportive" she had ever been in. She added: "My friends and family love him, and he's the first bloke I've introduced Coco to, which says a lot. I knew he was 'The One' within three to four months. "I've kissed a few frogs, but he's definitely marriage material." In April, Chelsee returned to her role of Goldie McQueen in Hollyoaks after taking an extended break. 4 Rainford pleased guilty just days after Chelsee left Dancing on Ice Credit: Getty

The unlikely career path that male Love Island stars are embarking on as they try to profit as much as they can from the show

The hope for most of those that go onto Love Island is that they will come out of the villa and make it big in the world of celebrity. But it appears most of the men who were once on the show have instead decided to take a leaf out of Gordon Ramsay 's book and become chefs. Luca Bish, 26, who appeared on the eighth series of the ITV show in 2022 and again on last years All Stars series has begun making cooking content on his social media. Posting a short video last week for his 1.6 million Instagram followers, he showed himself making a pasta dish. The influencer participated in Celebrity MasterChef in 2023 and was rumoured to be part of a Christmas special, but the programme was axed. He is also known for his previous work as a fishmonger for his family's wholesale company, MCB Seafood. Some of Love Island's biggest male stars have ditched the typical influencer and pursued a career in cooking, with 2022 star Luca Bish sharing a glimpse at his creations on Instagram His caption read: 'My love for cooking started on @masterchefuk and since then I've had so many messages from you guys for cooking content. It's been a long time coming but the time is here. Let's cook.' Luca, who is in a relationship with other All Stars contestant Grace Jackson, 26, seems to be following in the footsteps of some of his other fellow islanders. Callum Jones, 27, who was on the first series of All Stars and before that on series six in 2020, seems to also have become a budding chef. Posting daily cooking videos showing himself making various dishes in his kitchen, the influencer has brand deals with the likes of Knorr, Volkswagen, Baileys and Ninja Kitchen. With over four million likes on TikTok, his recipes seem to be causing a stir with a video of him showing how to cook a roast dinner garnering 1.5million views. Lochan Nowacki, 27, who made it to the Love Island final in 2023 has too decided to take up a career in cooking. His idea to start food content on his social media apparently came after his fellow Islanders praised him for his skills in the kitchen during his stint. Since leaving the villa he launched a cooking YouTube channel called Loch'd In Kitchen where he has over 30,000 subscribers. Since leaving the villa Lochan has launched a cooking YouTube channel called Loch'd In Kitchen where he has over 30,000 subscribers (pictured with Samie Eilishi) For videos, he cooks for random people including friends and ex-love islanders. Clearly working a treat, he now has advertisement deals with Waitrose and Ninja. In recent years the motivation for going on the show seems to have become more about fame and fortune than it has about romance. The opportunity to land a lucrative fashion, beauty or entertainment deal on the back of an appearance in the popular series has left finding love in the villa seem almost insignificant. Molly Mae, 26, and Tommy Fury, 26, have become the most successful from the show with a joint net worth of around £9million. Some six years on, 25-year-old Molly-Mae boasts 8.5 million followers on Instagram and has millions in the bank after a host of successful business ventures such as signing a six-figure deal with PLT in 2019. She was too reportedly paid more than £1million for her L'Oreal brand deal and demanded a similar fee for her Beauty Works hair extensions range. While the influencer's Molly-Mae: Behind It All documentary which detailed her recent split from Tommy was reportedly worth six figures. Season two runners-up Olivia and Alex Bowen have also proven the power of the longstanding couple in the financial stakes, with the pair racking up a £5 million fortune collectively thanks to brand endorsements, TV appearances and their fashion brand, Exempt Society. West End star Amber Davies is said to be worth £3.2million having returned to her acting roots after her Love Island stint. Molly-Mae's good pal Maura Higgins, 34, is said to be worth £3.2 million, using her impressive 4.1 million Instagram following to help her bring in some deals. Whilst Amber Davies' ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinay has followed her onto the rich list and is said to be worth £2.5 million.
