The 32-year-old was today jailed for 24 months after he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug between November 2022 and September 2023.
Chelsee had gone to Manchester Crown Court today to watch Rainford's sentencing.
Rainford's plea came just days after Chelsee was eliminated from Dancing on Ice.
The Waterloo Road star had hinted that she was struggling following her exit from the hit ITV show.
She said: "There has been a lot going on with me that I have been struggling with.'
An insider also told The Sun the pair were no longer in a relationship.
It can now be revealed that Rainford had previously been sentenced to six years for violent offences while serving with Royal Marines but was released in July 2022.
The court heard he and Boyd, 28, supplied 'multi-kilos' of cannabis worth up to £45,000.
Gwen Henshaw, prosecuting, described it as 'boutique' operation that involved selling various varieties of the drug, including 'Cali weed', 'Oreo Cookies' and 'Orange Cake'.
The pair had discussed drug deals, with police finding photos of large wads of cash.
Rainford also told a potential customer the drugs were "decent bro".
Chelsee had kept Rainford's identity a secret when they began dating in 2021.
His first name was revealed following Cookie's birth in December 2023 when he was seen in the background of photos from their baby shower.
Chelsee, who has another daughter Coco, previously told how their relationship was the "most supportive" she had ever been in.
She added: "My friends and family love him, and he's the first bloke I've introduced Coco to, which says a lot. I knew he was 'The One' within three to four months.
"I've kissed a few frogs, but he's definitely marriage material."
In April, Chelsee returned to her role of Goldie McQueen in Hollyoaks after taking an extended break.

As she did the move, her boob seemingly fell out of her swimsuit. The wardrobe blunder left her co-stars in hysterics, with one of the hunks begging her to cover up quickly. Dejon was shouting: "Tone, the boob is out," repeatedly, as she failed to pay attention. He kept shouting out to her before saying: "Boob's still out." The fellow Islanders were stunned by the wardrobe blunder, as were viewers at home. One person wrote: "Tone the boob is out," complete with a laughing emoji for Dejon's plea. "Ton the boob is out - settle down Dejon," said another. A third person then said of the blunder: "Looks like Toni is giving the Villa a run for its money! Who needs reality TV drama when you've got Toni in the house?" "Ik Toni keeps that villa moving my American queen," said a fourth. "Shower one at a time?" he exclaimed. Toni laughed and said: "Yes." "That's a shame," Harrison replied before following Toni out of the bathroom. They then got ready for bed before getting into a single bed together and cuddling up. "Why's Harrison making everything so sexual so soon?" asked one person on X, moments after his arrival and shower comment. "All the sexual stuff is just weird as hell," said a second.

Popular ITV show sees a huge shake-up as two big name stars QUIT ahead of new series launch
ITV show Password has suffered a huge shake up as two big name stars have quit ahead of the second series launch. The gameshow, hosted by Stephen Managan, sees members of the public have to guess passwords, with the help of celebrity team captains Daisy May Cooper and Alan Carr. But Daisy and Alan are reportedly not returning for the new launch as Stephen will head the show alone, according to The Sun. While the pair made a brilliant duo fronting the programme, it is believed that they are too busy this year to keep the commitment. According to the publication, the second season will see a revolving panel of celebrities instead. A source said: 'Password did brilliantly on its first outing and it's always a shame to make changes, but Alan and Daisy are both incredibly busy and diaries just wouldn't align. 'Something had to give and sadly it was their roles as team captains. 'But there's an exciting line-up of celebs ready to take part instead and everyone's confident that the format works without them.' MailOnline has contacted ITV for a comment. While the show has only aired one season, it has already seen some backlash. ITV viewers furiously slammed the broadcaster's newest gameshow as 'the worst thing on TV' after it's pilot aired. Fans have already spotted a huge blunder with the format of the programme, meaning those at homes are unable to play along. Viewers were puzzled by the fact that the passwords were being announced by a voiceover to those at home, so there seems to be no way of trying to join in and guess yourself. Before the contestants got stuck in, host Stephen explained: 'The game is simple. Get your partner to guess the password before your opponent does. 'You can only give one-word clues. No made up words, no hand gestures, no miming, no running, no ducking, no bombing... If your partner gets the password on the first clue it's worth 6 points, then 5 points for the second clue and so on. 'First team to 25 wins the round, win two rounds and you'll go through to the final where you'll be playing for our £10,000 jackpot.' However, fans were left less than impressed with the concept and took to social media to brutally slate the show after its launch, writing: 'WTAF is this new #Password game show? What a load of old b*******. Juvenile beyond belief. Saturday night prime time everybody.' '#password I mean @ITV must be bloody desperate... this isn't even a 3pm quiz show, why is it on prime time on a Saturday?' 'I love a good quiz BUT Password is the worst thing I have seen on TV for years #Password.' 'How the f*** is this prime time TV? Should be on at 3pm if at all #password' 'I had to keep watching to see if it got any better. It's like an episode of The Apprentice where the contestants had a day to create a tv quiz show with no budget.' Fans were left less than impressed with the concept and took to social media to brutally slate the show after its launch 'Why ask if we can guess the #Password when some guy announces it at the beginning of each round, then you show it on screen??? What's the point in this show if we can't play along at home?' 'Why the hell is it called password.. pathetic #Password.' 'We are just watching people playing a rubbish game. I'm out. #password' 'I'll put my bets on that #password isn't on next week, surely people aren't still watching. It's hardly @1PercentClubITV levels.' 'Cant even play it cos you tell us the answers, s*** #Password' 'Not saying ITV has lost its way, but #password is the lamest thing I have ever seen. How it got commissioned, let alone scheduled for Saturday prime time is beyond me.' But, fans are in luck as the disappointment comes just before two beloved ITV quiz shows will finally be returning to ITV after a long-running break. Bosses have announced that both Tipping Point: Lucky Stars and Family Fortunes will be making a comeback, much to the delight of viewers. And fans don't have long to wait as the celebrity spin off of Tipping Point is set to kick off on September 8 at 7pm on ITV1. Meanwhile Family Fortunes will be soon making a come back for its fourth series in early 2025, after it was originally pulled from screens in 2002 - but it won't be hosted by the show's original presenter, Les Dennis.

Coronation Street cast hit by fresh blow as budget cuts continue to bite
The Coronation Street cast have been hit by a fresh blow amid the ongoing budget cuts - which have seen a number of changes in the long-running ITV soap throughout the year The cast and crew of ITV soap Coronation Street are reportedly said to be "furious" over the latest impact of budget cuts. Earlier this year, it was reported the long-running soap had made changes to filming in a bid to cut back on expenses. Now, the cast and crew have been hit with another huge blow, as the latest impact has reportedly left them forking out for their own summer party. In January, it was reported the show had infuriated some of the cast by reducing the number of established characters filming inside the iconic Rovers Return pub in a bid to save money. The show has also seen a number of departures this year including Colson Smith (Craig Tinker) and Charlotte Jordan (Daisy Midgeley). The latest change reportedly means the cast have had to organise their own summer party, which each person paying £22 per for the bash. They'll also be paying for drinks on top of the sum, which covers venue, entertainment and security. A source told The Sun: 'It's been a difficult few months and people were really looking forward to the party, but it puts a bit of a dampener on things that they have to pay. 'It might not be a lot to some of the bigger known stars but for some staff it is. The fact that drinks aren't included is a real blow too. People aren't really that surprised though considering the constant budget cuts.' The Mirror understands that the Coronation Street crew organised the party, not ITV bosses, and the whole team is said to be looking forward to the event. The Mirror have contacted Coronation Street and ITV for comment. The news comes months after it was announced the soap would be cutting down to five hours a week, rather than six. However, it's not the only ITV soap to have their hours cut, as Emmerdale will also follow suit. The change is set to take place at the beginning of 2026. From January, there will be a soap 'power hour', with Emmerdale airing for half an hour each day at 8pm. Coronation Street will air straight after at 8.30pm each day, again for half an hour, as the drama from the Cobbles returns to its daily offerings. However, there's also a huge positive in January for both soaps, as for the first time ever, they'll join forces in an unprecedented, one-off special episode to launch the broadcaster's new power hour. It will mark the first time a crossover has happened in British soap history, will see characters from both soaps come together in a celebration of the soap genre.
