If there's one thing to know about the Pahang royal family, it's that they are a lively and friendly bunch. They are also known for their humility when interacting with members of the public, particularly with those whom they have known for many years.
Her Majesty Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah has made headlines on numerous occasions for exactly these reasons. Recently, she went viral once again for simply being a loving mother-in-law to her son's wife. Here's the story:
During the recent Hari Raya Haji celebrations, the Pahang royal family visited the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Mosque to perform the Eid al-Adha prayers. His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, attended the prayers alongside Her Majesty Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, and their sons Tengku Hassanal, Tengku Muhammad, and Tengku Ahmad.
While they were there for the Raya celebration, a touching moment between family members went viral. A video circulated on TikTok showing the former Queen of Malaysia happily greeting and hugging her daughter-in-law, Tengku Natasya Adnan, who is married to her son, Tengku Muhammad. In the same clip, the two were seen chatting at the mosque and greeting members of the public, with the princess affectionately linking arms with her mother-in-law.
The video quickly went viral, with netizens commenting on how fortunate Tengku Natasya is to have a loving and kind mother-in-law like Tunku Azizah. Others expressed joy at seeing the close and warm relationship shared between the two. Hopefully, we'll get to see more sweet and fun interactions in the future.

BLACKPINK Rosé To Bring Rosie Pop-Up Store Experience To KL This Month

As many will know, BLACKPINK are set to embark on their DEADLINE world tour later this year, with each stop on the Asia leg featuring two- or three-day performances. Unfortunately, Malaysia has not yet been included in the list of tour dates. However, fans remain hopeful that the country may be added at a later stage, possibly in 2026. While we wait for the good news, there is something BLINKs can look forward to later this month. It has been confirmed recently that one of the girls will be bringing her official pop-up store to Kuala Lumpur! Here's what we know: BLACKPINK's main vocalist, Park Chae-young (박채영), also known as Rosé (로제), has announced that she will soon be bringing her 'Rosie Pop-Up Store Experience' to The Exchange TRX. This particular pop-up store has travelled to various locations around the world, including South Korea and Hong Kong, as part of the promotional campaign for Rosé's debut solo album, 'Rosie'. The Kuala Lumpur edition will feature exclusive merchandise from the release, incorporating motifs from tracks such as 'A.P.T' and 'Number One Girl'. That's not all—fans can also look forward to special 'gift with purchase' photocards and 'spin to win' prizes to take home. Details of the limited-time store are as follows: Rosie Pop-Up Store Experience Date: 17th (Tuesday) – 29th (Sunday) June 2025 17th (Tuesday) – 29th (Sunday) June 2025 Time: 10am – 10pm 10am – 10pm Location: The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur Rosé is currently occupied with BLACKPINK's comeback and preparations for the upcoming tour, so it's unlikely she will be present for the store's launch. However, that doesn't mean fans should miss the chance to visit the Rosie Pop-Up at The Exchange TRX. Be sure to clear your schedule and set aside some spending money, because if BLACKPINK includes Malaysia in the DEADLINE tour, you'll want to have something special on hand for the main vocalist to sign! Christine Fan competes in singing reality show, gets eliminated in 1st round

Singer Christine Fan has openly expressed her disappointment with her performance of 'The First Dream' (2004) on Chinese reality music competition 'Singer 2025'. Photo: Christine Fan/Instagram America-born Taiwanese singer Christine Fan made a short-lived appearance as a contestant on Singer 2025 – the Chinese reality music competition broadcast on Hunan Television – before getting eliminated in the same episode. The show, which premiered on May 16, features an international line-up of professional singers, including Chen Chusheng from China, Beni from Japan and Mickey Guyton from the US. Three winners will be named at the end of the season. Singer 2025 was formerly known as I Am A Singer , which premiered in 2013 and was renamed in 2017. This is the 10th season of the show, and voting results are determined by in-person audiences as well as Internet users. Fan, better known by her stage name FanFan, was brought in to replace Taiwanese singer Terry Lin, 58, who was eliminated after the fourth episode, which aired on June 6. Fan came in last among eight singers, ranking below those from China, such as Ma Jiaqi, Shan Yichun and Gai. Fan, 49, sang her hit track The First Dream (2004), but was off-key and suffered from shaky vocals. She reportedly cried as soon as she left the stage. Netizens compared her performance to the scene of a car accident, with viewers adding she was not confident and appeared nervous. In an Instagram post on June 7, Fan said she was thankful and satisfied to have participated in Singer 2025 . She expressed her disappointment, writing that 'it has been many years since I have participated in the recording of such shows, and I am upset with my subpar performance'. 'I have failed to meet the expectations of viewers, and I am deeply sorry for that.' However, the singer remained positive, adding that one need not excel every day, and that life will turn out fine as long as one bravely works towards accomplishing his or her dreams. She wrapped up her caption by thanking the show's crew, as well as her colleagues, friends, family members and the team behind Singer 2025 who cheered her on. Fan's latest album, Solitary Moment , was released in 2022. Since her music debut in 2000, she has staged several concert tours, with the most recent being her On Road To Happiness world tour (2017 to 2019), during which she made stops in cities like Taipei, Los Angeles and Singapore. She is married to Taiwanese television host Blackie Chen, 48, and the couple have nine-year-old twin sons. Chen was embroiled in Taiwan's #MeToo scandal in 2023 after being accused by Taiwanese actress Tina Chou of committing sexual harassment in 2012. Chen and Fan have denied the allegations. In 2023, the couple filed a NT$10mil (RM1.41mil) lawsuit against Chou to 'restore the reputation of the parties concerned', but ended up dropping it. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network View this post on Instagram A post shared by 范范范瑋琪 (@fanfan)

Carlos Chan says wife singer Shiga Lin isn't thrilled about his weight gain

After losing weight for a film, Carlos Chan is well on his way to regain the pounds back. Photos: Carlos Chan/Instagram Hong Kong actor Carlos Chan revealed he's currently working hard to regain the weight he lost for a film last year. His target is 75kg, and with just 5kg to go, he's well on track – thanks to a specially designed meal plan from his wife, singer-actress Shiga Lin. But according to the 38-year-old, it hasn't been easy. 'It's honestly exhausting to keep eating,' Chan said with a laugh. 'As my wife wants to lose weight while I'm trying to gain it, when I told her how hard it is to keep eating, she warned me to watch what I say – otherwise, I might get punched!' The celebs had a star-studded wedding that reportedly costs RM1.6mil in April 2023. They welcomed their first child in 2024. Chan added that his goal isn't just to gain weight – it's to build muscle. According to HK01, the Manchester United fan is preparing for the debut match of a football team he co-founded with a fellow actor.
