EA FC 25 Shapeshifters Team 4 release date, predictions and what to expect
We're entering our fourth and final week of the Shapeshifters promo in Ultimate Team, with EA FC 25 Shapeshifters Team 4 entering packs this week.
Similarly to TOTS, it has started to feel like the Shapeshifters promo has outstayed its welcome in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, with the Shapeshifters Team 3 squad failing to impress the majority of the FUT community. There were a few standout inclusions like Shapeshifters Icon Eusebio, but bar a few names, the majority of the squad is currently on the transfer market for discard price.
As we enter July, players are getting excited about two things – EA FC 25 Futties and the EA FC 26 reveal. We know the latter is still a little bit away, but we're going to have to wait another week for EA Sports to release Futties, with the EA FC 25 Shapeshifters Team 4 squad up next in Ultimate Team.
Here's everything we know about the upcoming EA FC 25 Shapeshifters Team 4 promo squad, including the release date, predictions, and expected Ultimate Team content.

Revealed: Bill Belichick AND Deion Sanders both refused to be included in EA's new college football game
EA Sports released the deluxe edition of 'College Football 26' on Monday, with arguably the two most prominent coaches in college football in terms of mainstream appeal, Bill Belichick and Deion Sanders, not part of the game. This year's edition introduced coaches having their identities as part of game, not just the players with name, image, and likeness revenue sent their way. North Carolina 's Belichick and Colorado's Sanders will now have stand-ins taking their spots at the helm of the Tar Heels and Buffaloes respectively by not opting in to the game. The new Tar Heels coach is a man named Hector Luna, who has a B+ rating as a coach, while in Sanders' spot is a fake person named Kirk Patrick, whose rating is A+, per The Athletic. Those revelations came out alongside the designs for coaches that opted to be part of the second edition of the revival series of EA Sports' college football cult classic game. Some of those designs went viral, including an interesting haircut for Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy. Belichick's absence was not a surprise, as he never chose to be part of the Madden NFL video game franchise when coaching the New England Patriots. The three most notable college head coaches to opt into the game are Ohio State's Ryan Day, Ole Miss' Lane Kiffin, and Clemson's Dabo Swinney. The most prominent head coach joining Sanders and Belichick not to be in the game is either Stanford's Frank Reich or UAB's Trent Dilfer, due to their time in the NFL. Expectations for both coaches are high entering the 2025 season, especially for Belichick, as the Atlantic Coast Conference appears wide open.

EA FC 25 Futties expected release date, leaks, predictions and expected content
Team 1 of the Futties promo will be released in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team this week, putting an end to four weeks of Shapeshifters It's time to get excited FUT fans, because the EA FC 25 Futties promo is just around the corner in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team. After four, long weeks of the Shapeshifters promo in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, it's time for a refresh, and one of the best promos in the FUT calendar is set to be released next by EA Sports. The EA FC 25 Futties promo is one of the biggest events in Ultimate Team, with five Futties squads being released in EA FC 24. During EA FC 25 Futties, players will get the chance to vote for what players they want to see feature in the promo, with these cards being released as SBCs. We will also get our first 99-rated cards of EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, with Futties one of the end-game promos before EA moves forward with EA FC 26. Here's everything we know about the upcoming EA FC 25 Futties promo, including the release date, leaks, predictions and expected Ultimate Team content. EA FC 25 Futties release date The EA FC 25 Futties Team 1 squad release date will be Friday, July 11 at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT/ 6pm BST. The Futties release will mark the end of Shapeshifters in Ultimate Team, while the Euro 2025 Path to Glory players will also exit packs, potentially in place of another Euro 2025-themed promo. EA FC 25 Futties leaks As we're still a few days away from the promo start date, not many leaks have been made just yet, but we do know one part of the promo, with @AsyFutTrader revealing in a Tweet the Futties card design. According to the leaker, the iconic pink design has a bit of orange in it this year as well, giving it a slightly fresh look. As well as the regular card design, @Fut_Scoreboard has revealed the Futties Icon design, and it's one of the best-looking Icon cards we've had all year. The Futties Evolution card design is also known, with the 'Futties Countdown' Evolution giving out a special Futties card design for players who complete the Evolution. EA FC 25 Futties predictions Futties tends to be the first time of the year that EA includes new summer transfers as promo items, and after some big signings across Europe in the first few weeks of the transfer window, we can expect to see some of those released over the coming weeks. This is who we want to see in the EA FC 25 Futties promo, along with some Futties Icons and predicted player ratings: ST: Ronaldo (Futties Icon) - 99 OVR CM: Ruud Gullit (Futties Icon) - 99 OVR ST: Samuel Eto'o (Futties Icon) - 98 OVR ST: Kenny Dalglish (Futties Icon) - 98 OVR LM: Aya Miyama (Futties Icon) - 97 OVR RB: Carlos Alberto (Futties Icon) - 97 OVR CAM: Florian Wirtz (Liverpool) - 99 OVR CAM: Kevin De Bruyne (Napoli) - 99 OVR RW: Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) - 99 OVR CAM: Matheus Cunha (Manchester United) - 98 OVR RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Real Madrid) - 98 OVR ST: Cristiano Ronaldo (Al Nassr) - 98 OVR RW: Rayan Cherki (Manchester City) - 97 OVR RW: Chloe Kelly (Arsenal Women) - 97 OVR CB: Ingrid Syrstad Engen (Lyon Women) - 96 OVR CM: Jobe Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund) - 96 OVR CB: Dean Huijsen (Real Madrid) - 96 OVR LB: Olga Carmona (PSG Women) - 95 OVR GK: Chiamaka Nnadozie (Brighton and Hove Albion Women) - 95 OVR EA FC 25 Futties expected content Futties is the favourite time of the year for menu grinders, with EA always releasing the 85+ x10 upgrade SBC during the Futties promo. One of the best ways to use fodder in the hopes of getting big players in return, this SBC is sure to be popular if EA releases it again. As well as the Futties squad in packs, a larger-than-usual number of players will also be released as SBCs and Objectives, something which the Ultimate Team community has come to love during Futties. A 'Best Of' batch should also be released in packs, and if EA follows the same pattern as EA FC 24, each 'Best Of' batch should remain in packs for two weeks, featuring 200 players at a time. Huge Evolutions will also be released, potentially even a 99-rated Evolution upgrade!

5 EA FC 26 changes I want to see including PlayStyles, Evolutions and FUT promos
EA FC 26 is a few months away from release, and I have a wishlist of what I want to see in EA Sports' next football game. As we approach the release of EA FC 26, the same questions in on everyone's minds. What's new? EA FC 26 is expected to release at the end of September by EA Sports, making it the third instalment of the EA Sports FC series. EA is still occupied by EA FC 25 with its popular Futties promo yet to kick off in Ultimate Team, but players' heads are already turning towards the future and what we can expect to see in EA FC 26. A host of EA FC 26 information has already been leaked on social media, including new FUT Icons and FC 26 pre-order bonuses, but not much gameplay-wise has been revealed just yet. This got me thinking: what are some new features or changes that I'd like to see in EA FC 26? Here are five changes I want to see. Competitive Evolutions Evolutions have been a godsend since they arrived in EA FC 24. If it wasn't for Evolutions, Ultimate Team would feel boring, but as good as Evolutions are, I still think there's progress to be made. That's why in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team, I'd love to see more competitive Evolutions with longer grinds, making the payoff much more rewarding. Adding objectives into Evolutions like playing 100 games of Rivals or winning 30 FUT Champions games for bigger upgrades would be fantastic. Not only will it help the elite players be rewarded with the upgrades before anyone else, but it also means that you won't be seeing the same players in every FUT Champions game, making matchmaking more exciting. I've seen enough Ruud Gullit's and Thierry Henry's to last me a lifetime over the last two months in Ultimate Team, but if EA offered upgrades based on competitive results, it could make Ultimate Team much more interesting, and it could also make Evolutions that little bit better. PlayStyle Plus nerf I was on board the PlayStyles train when EA FC 25 launched, but after the last few months, I think they are in big need of a nerf, with PlayStyles currently way too important. I've previously written about how I felt PlayStyles were ruining the game, and I still feel the same way. Stats almost don't matter anymore, and it feels like in every update EA brings out, the main focus is on PlayStyles. Gameplay has also become too reliant on PlayStyles, and right now, if my striker hasn't got Finesse Shot or Low Driven Plus, they almost feel unusable. In EA FC 26, I want to see Playstyles used like a luxury, the way they were intended to be when they were introduced in EA FC 24. Make stats the most important factor once again, and I'll be happy. No more 4 week FUT promos There may be a little bit of recency bias here, but EA has to stop with these extra-long promos because they are sucking the life out of Ultimate Team. Ahead of EA FC 25, Shapeshifters was one of the most popular promos in the FUT calendar each year, but right now we're in the fourth week of the Shapeshifters promo, and I don't think interest has ever been lower. Following the TOTS promo that was extremely tedious towards the end, these dragged-out promos simply lose hype quickly, and it makes Ultimate Team quite boring. EA needs to commit to having a new promo every one or two weeks, or limit promos and go back to how it was between FIFA 13 and FIFA 16. Online Career Mode An Online Career Mode is one of the most requested additions every year by players, and once again, I'm hoping this is something that EA would be willing to implement in EA FC 26. The ability to play with friends or other online players in the Career Mode format is very appealing, and it could be the perfect refresh needed to add some life back into the game mode with some of the most loyal users. Punishment for players who quit This is something that should have been added to Ultimate Team a long time ago. EA needs to implement harsher punishments for players who quit games if they want a less-toxic player base. Title Update 9 saw EA make its first steps towards fixing this toxic problem by rewarding wins to players when their opponents quit while drawing, but this only applied to certain circumstances and when a player quit through the menus, so it was quite flawed. Instead, EA should focus on punishing the player who quits the game, and this way, it will become way less of a regular issue. An idea that could work is to give out time penalties to players who quit games. If you quit a game, you can't enter a new one for 15 minutes. The more games quit, the longer the punishment.
