Beyond The Gates Recap: Leslie Baits Nicole Into Throwing Hands originally appeared on Daytime Confidential.
On today's Beyond The Gates recap:
Orphey Gene's: Leslie walks in, introduces herself to Hayley and takes a seat. Hayley tries her best to leave but Leslie goes on about how she's being harassed by Jacob and Kat and occasionally gets a visit from her daughter but mostly is bored all day. Hayley gets up and Leslie says they have something in common; no one wants to talk to her either.
Leslie notes no one will come around Hayley since she stole Bill from Dani. Hayley gets her dander up but Leslie says there's no need. She thinks the Dupree sisters have done a number on the both of them. Hayley admits she's heard a bit about Leslie. They go back and forth a bit until Hayley asks why Leslie chose to approach her today. Leslie says the enemy of her enemy is her friend and wonders how they can help each other. Hayley seems to think they have nothing in common, but Leslie notes they are both on the outs because they did damage to the Duprees. They snark back and forth before Hayley says she needs to get to her doctor and go see her husband, a think she wouldn't know anything about. Leslie grins and giggles as Hayley hits the door.
Leslie is hanging alone when Nicole walks in. She baits Nicole who decides to take it and sit down. Leslie asks Nicole to spill the tea, and she goes into Laura being back to work. Leslie plays like she sort of knows her and Nicole wonders if she tried to murder so many people Laura slipped her mind. Nicole continues to be snarky and wonders if Leslie wants to confess to her crimes. Leslie pretends to not know anything, and Nicole goes into details. Leslie doesn't understand Nicole's obsession with her and says there is something seriously wrong with her. Nicole counters saying she said what she said. Leslie quotes Shaggy and says, 'it wasn't me.' Nicole talks about the evidence the police have but Leslie says it's all circumstantial. Nicole knows she needed Laura out of the way to get Eva into her house and life. Further, Nicole knows she was looking to prove Ted was Eva's daddy. Leslie says she was but has a pretty blue dress with all kinds of DNA evidence which she could have used (Not a Bill Clinton reference!).
Leslie goes in saying when Nicole was dealing with her many miscarriages, she and Ted were humping like rabbits. Nicole gets up to leave but Leslie doubles down saying Ted was insatiable. Nicole assumes Leslie poked a hole in a condom in an attempt to trap him. They continue to go back and forth when Leslie takes over saying Ted still desires her as he is dealing with her trifling family trauma. She tells Nicole about Kat walking in on her and Ted in a hotel room. She pushes too far about Kat and Ted which results in Nicole wrapping her hands around Leslie's neck, just as Ted walks in. Leslie coughs and screams, saying Nicole tried to kill her.
Garland Memorial Hospital – Ted's Office: Eva walks in all happy with latte for her father. He is not in the mood and says Eva let the office's accreditation lapse which is going to cost him a lot of time and money. Eva is clearly confused by her father's words. She remembers Kat telling her that they already had their accreditation visit and she could ignore the alerts. Ted can't believe Kat missed it and is going to get to the bottom of the situation.
Kat arrives to check in with her father about the accreditation issue. He sends Ted off to check on the renovations. Eva side-eyes Kat before exiting. Ted goes in saying he doesn't understand how the accreditation issues happened, leading Kat to flash back to purposely screwing things up. In real-time, Kat flat out lies saying she told Eva how critical the accreditation issues were. Eva listens in as Kat tells their father that he really screwed up by hiring her. Kat continues to bash Eva saying she will need to stick around until she's fully up to speed. As Kat continues to cut Eva to the quick, Ted asks if she would sabotage her sister. Kat takes a seat and leans fully into the lie saying she would never do anything to harm her father or his business.
Ted says he needs to go meet Nicole and is a bit tired of being her punching bag. Kat is thrilled they are meeting up and Kat says she will stick around and fix things at his office. With that, Ted exits. Afterwards, Eva comes out from behind a corner and re-enters the office telling Kat she knows exactly what she did.
Kat thinks Eva must have misunderstood her and says she is jealous of her new relationship with their father. Kat calls her trash and says she and her criminal mother always will be. She goes in on Eva about the attacks on Laura and demands she confess. Eva thinks it's a good idea to tell their father what Kat did to destroy his accreditation.
Garland Memorial Hospital – Lobby: Ashley and Shanice are all tense from the night before. Shanice asks how long Ashley is going to punish her for going out with Derek. She says she was really only thanking Derek for being a first responder and wasn't a date at all. Shanice also notes Ashley was also on a date with Andre. They go back and forth until Ashley explodes and tells Shanice to shut up, just as Derek walks up.
Derek apparently tells Shanice his back is bothering him. She does a little assessment, while Ashley watches, and gives Derek some exercises to do at home. They giggle and flirt as Ashley rolls her eyes. Just then, Hayley arrives and greets Ashley.
Hayley is clearly impacted by Leslie's words as she tries to engage Ashley in a conversation about how they used to hang out all the time with Naomi. She notices what's going on and asks what's up with Derek and Shanice. Ashley tries to ignore her and ask why she's there. She says she is there for her ob-gyn follow-up. Hayley isn't certain why she's there as her ultrasound was clear. Ashley flashes back to a few days back where a nurse told her that Hayley refused the ultrasound. In real-time, Ashley admits she's a wee bit distracted today. Hayley says she is only worried about her baby. Ashley is paying more attention to Shanice and Derek.
Derek calls Shanice a miracle worker before making his exit. Ashley immediately takes the opportunity to get snarky, once again.
Dani's Digs: Pamela is fretting about their fledgling modeling agency. Dani isn't quite so concerned but Pamela wants to brainstorm. She thinks they should use Dani as their lead model to create buzz. Dani isn't thrilled with the idea, but Pamela puts on the hard sell. Dani thinks she's too old, but Pamela says not to ever use that word. Just then, Andre walks in and interrupts asking what the hell Dani thinks she's doing. Pamela thinks it's time for her to get going and leave Dani and Andre to whatever they are doing.
Andre can't believe how embarrassing Dani's behavior was the night before. Dani says he's the only one impacted as she wasn't embarrassed and Ashley was too daft to know what the hell was going on.
Dani tells Andre he can keep playing with little girls or let a real woman rock his world. He can't resist the temptation, and Dani quickly wraps her legs around him and they begin to undress for sexy time.

Hayley returns from her exam and tells Ashley she's thinking about planning a baby shower. With that, she exits.
Eva calls Kat a 'spoiled, selfish, little bitch' who risked her father's business to prove a petty point. She thinks maybe she'll take a page out of her 'crazy ass mama's book' and pay Kat back the way she deserves.
Ted pulls Nicole back as Leslie says the crazy ass heifer tried to kill her. Ted tells Leslie to take a sip of water which infuriates Nicole. She says maybe he should take Leslie back to his hotel room and have a talk with her. With that, she exits. Leslie rises saying Nicole attacked her out of nowhere. She says she's too dizzy to drive and asks Ted to take her home. For some reason, he decides to do as Leslie asks.
