The Jonas Brothers Begin A New Chapter With A Quick — If Minor — Hit Single

The Jonas Brothers are getting ready for the band's next chapter. The trio recently revealed that Greetings From Your Hometown, a new full-length, will arrive this summer, and fans have already received a taste of what's to come.
The sibling group recently dropped the title's lead single, "Love Me to Heaven," which launched ahead of a special fan event and the album announcement. Loyal followers rushed to support the track – as they always do – and while it didn't exactly debut with a bang, it has already managed to make some noise in the United Kingdom.
"Love Me to Heaven" opens this week on both the Official Singles Downloads chart and the Official Singles Sales ranking, marking the Jonas Brothers' return to a pair of tallies that have often treated the band well. The song enters the downloads ranking at No. 36, giving the trio another top 40 win, but just barely. It opens slightly lower on the broader sales tally, landing at No. 40. That chart combines both digital purchases and physical single sales, while the downloads tally is limited to just online buys.
It's been a little while since the Jonas Brothers last reached the top 40 on either of these charts. The band's most recent success in that region – or anywhere on the tallies – came in April 2023, when "Waffle House" became a quick hit with buyers in the U.K. That tune peaked at No. 11 on the Official Singles Downloads chart and settled just one rung lower on the Official Singles Sales list. In the months since, the pop-rockers have shared a number of other songs, but none have resonated with British audiences in the same way.
The Jonas Brothers have earned a solid number of bestselling tunes in the U.K. throughout the decades the band has been releasing music – with a hiatus splitting up two distinct chapters – especially when looking at sales-focused lists. The trio has now appeared on the Official Singles Sales chart with nine different tracks. Of that total, five have broken into the top 40, and at least a couple have climbed into the top 10.
The group's record is even more impressive on the Official Singles Downloads chart. "Love Me to Heaven" marks the band's fifteenth appearance on that ranking. Three of those entries have gone on to become top 10 smashes.
The new single serves as the lead cut from Greetings From Your Hometown, the Jonas Brothers' upcoming full-length, which isn't expected to drop until August. The track was co-written by Nick Jonas, and it arrived just before JonasCon, a fan-focused event celebrating the band's 20-year legacy and Grammy-nominated career. At that gathering, the siblings officially announced the album, which will follow The Album, the most recent studio effort, which dropped in May 2023.

Tony Iommi Charts His First Solo Top 40 Hit Thanks To An Unlikely Feature

Tony Iommi joins Robbie Williams on 'Rocket,' earning his first solo top 40 hit in the United ... More Kingdom on multiple sales charts. Guitarist Tony Iommi is shown performing on stage during a live concert appearance with Black Sabbath on August 8, 2013. (Photo by)"n Tony Iommi is regarded as a god in the rock world, and has been for decades. He first rose to prominence as one of the founding members of Black Sabbath and, for years, he helped bring heavy metal to the masses with his signature guitar sound. While he's primarily known for his work with that group, Iommi does occasionally release music under his own name. The superstar scores a hit song in his home country of the United Kingdom this week by teaming up with a somewhat surprising figure. Iommi earns a top 40 hit on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts this frame. He joins Robbie Williams on the track "Rocket," which opens at Nos. 34 and 36, respectively, on those tallies, becoming a top 40 bestseller in the nation. It appears that "Rocket" is Iommi's first solo hit on both of those rankings. As a member of Black Sabbath, he's only reached the lists once, as "Paranoid" spent one frame on the rosters in August 2022. Of course, it's worth mentioning that these tallies didn't exist during the heyday of the heavy metal act. Iommi has landed more than one solo placement on the Official Rock & Metal Albums roster with his solo collections, but those titles didn't produce any hit songs across the Atlantic. "Rocket" serves as the lead single from Williams's upcoming album Britpop. It's interesting that the first taste of a full-length named after a style of pop music from the U.K. wouldn't typically be classified under that genre, and would feature one of the most recognizable figures in metal — but that's Williams, playing another one of his jokes. While Iommi may be new to these rankings, Williams has already scored a number of hits. The pop icon has racked up a dozen smashes on the Official Singles Sales chart and well over two dozen on the Official Singles Downloads list. A top 40 start is impressive for Iommi but rather low for Williams, one of the most successful pop stars in U.K. history. The tune doesn't reach the main list of the most consumed songs — the Official Singles chart — at least not yet, which is a bit disappointing.

Joe Jonas Scores His First Hit Album On His Own

Joe Jonas lands his first solo placements on multiple U.K. album charts with Music for People Who ... More Believe in Love, though the set misses the main albums ranking. NEW YORK, NEW YORK - APRIL 29: Joe Jonas visits SiriusXM at SiriusXM Studios on April 29, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by) Joe Jonas has been a musical superstar for nearly two decades now, but his commercial success has largely been tied to his siblings. As one-third of the Jonas Brothers, he's scored global smashes and several bestselling albums. His solo career, however, hasn't fared quite as well, especially in the United Kingdom. The singer lands his first hits on a number of charts in that country this week with his latest release on his own, Music for People Who Believe in Love. The title earns Jonas his first placement under his own name on several tallies, though, interestingly, it still trails behind his debut solo offering in one important manner. Music for People Who Believe in Love debuts on three charts across the Atlantic. It opens at No. 15 on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts. The collection also enters at No. 36 on the Official Album Downloads list. These placements mark a first for Jonas as a soloist on all three rankings. The Jonas Brothers, meanwhile, have collected between two and five appearances on each and every one of them throughout the years. Despite its lofty placement on a handful of tallies, Music for People Who Believe in Love doesn't reach the Official Albums chart, the all-encompassing ranking of the 100 most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the nation. Jonas's debut solo album, Fastlife, did land on that tally. Released in late 2011, Fastlife spent one frame at No. 99 before disappearing for good. It never managed to appear on any of the other charts where Jonas currently appears. So far, Music for People Who Believe in Love has produced just one charting hit: "Heart by Heart." The catchy lead single debuts on a pair of tallies this frame in the U.K. It opens at No. 72 on the Official Singles Sales list and No. 69 on the Official Singles Downloads tally. Jonas is brand new to the Official Singles Sales chart, as "Heart by Heart" earns him his first solo win on the list of the bestselling tunes in the U.K. He's already placed on the Official Singles Downloads roster multiple times. In fact, "Heart by Heart" marks his fifth solo entry on that tally and his first since 2011. To date, Jonas has managed only one top 40 solo success on that U.K. ranking — a duet with Demi Lovato on "This Is Me," which peaked at No. 31 in 2008.

Women Share Hilarious Hookup Fails That Killed The Mood

We recently covered this Reddit thread where women recalled the wild, cringeworthy reasons men gave them icks in the bedroom. Women of the BuzzFeed Community then chimed in with their own tales of bedroom blunders. Here's what they revealed: "He called sex 'making kittens.' The first and last time we 'made kittens,' we were both virgins, and after a whole 15 seconds, he finished." "I once had to ask a casual hookup buddy if he had forgotten to brush his teeth because his breath was so bad. He said he had brushed them, but had run out of toothpaste a few days ago and kept forgetting to buy more. There I was, thoroughly brushed, flossed, bathed, shaved, moisturized, and perfumed in nice underwear. And he couldn't even bother to use toothpaste. I left before showing him the underwear." "He put his finger in my mouth and pulled on my cheek like a fish hook. I immediately kicked him out. He trash-talked me to everyone for weeks after." "He sucked on my ears so hard, I could hear my earrings crunch on his teeth. Like WHY?!" "Once, I hooked up with a guy who was too lazy to get up and walk to the bathroom to pee. Instead, he picked up an empty Tropicana OJ bottle by the bed, peed in it, and then put it down next to the bed to empty out when he went to the bathroom in the morning. I was D-O-N-E!" "This guy I had started to see asked me how many candles I wanted lit before we did it. I was a virgin, and he thought that was what I needed to sleep with him. I submitted this story to a radio show and won two tickets to the Nick Jonas/Demi Lovato tour." "He called me 'Ms. Wetness' in a sing-songy voice." "In graduate school, I hooked up with a guy during an internship. We went back to my apartment, had a few beers, and then (fairly decent) sex. Post-coitus, he excused himself to go to the bathroom. About two minutes later, he came out wearing my bathrobe and said, 'Hope you don't mind, but I borrowed your toothbrush!' Needless to say, I was horrified." "I had an ex who called a blowjob 'sucky sucky.'" "I hooked up with a friend, and he kept saying, 'Say my name.' I don't know why, but it's awkward as hell for me to say someone's name during sex. Anyway, after the fourth or fifth time of him saying that, he finally said, 'It's John. My name is John.' All I could do was laugh." "I can only climax when I'm on top, and one guy kept saying, 'Yes! Ride the bull!' in what I think was an Italian accent. I couldn't get past that one." "I'm into a little dirty talk, but not really praise. This man whispered, 'You're doing so good for me, sweet angel.' I couldn't do that." "I went on a date with a guy I'd been crushing on ALL semester during my first year of college. He was literally an Abercrombie model. He gave me a bag with him on it, which was weird, but kind of neat. He was absolutely beautiful, he was polite, and he was smart. I got to his house and it REEKED of weed. I made him open a window and light a candle. Then I saw his bedroom. His bed was unmade with black sheets with obvious crusts of THINGS on it. I refused to get in the bed, even at 19, so we started hooking up on the couch. The mood killer was when he stopped to take a huge bong rip out of a statuesque Batman bong. He or someone else had DIY'd a Batman figurine into a bong. I lied and said I was on my period and had to go. This was in 2009, and I threw away that bag, but sometimes I still think of it and wish I had it. Oh, and I'm in a relationship with a woman now." "In baby talk, he referred to my vagina as 'kitty.' I still shudder when I think of him." "He constantly kept asking me if I felt better, like I was feeling bad before we even had sex, which really turned me off." "One time when a guy was going down on me, he looked up at my face and said, 'You look like Hello Kitty.' Excuse me??" "Mid-hookup, I heard something rustling above my head. He was looking at a magazine picture of Linda Ronstadt while making love to me. I rolled it up and smacked him with it before storming out." "He was on top of me kissing and squeezing my boobs and telling me how great they were, and then he asked me, 'Did you get them from your mom?'" "We went back to his place. He was a very clean-looking individual, but his apartment was disgusting. That was bad enough, then I went to the bathroom and there were pubes EVERYWHERE. Nope." "I was studying abroad in London from the US for a semester during college. I met a guy on Tinder and we had a couple of dates. He seemed nice. Went back to his parents' house to his room. He had at least five guinea pigs. Okay, no big deal; he likes animals. As we go to cuddle in bed, he whispers, 'Don't make me follow you across the world.' I could not sleep a wink that night, and I broke up with him before the next date." "I hooked up with a guy who took his pants off, then got genuinely upset that I didn't ooh and aah over how big it was." "He called his penis his 'pee pee.' 🤮" And: "Post sex, lying naked in bed, a grown man did the Goofy laugh. It was a perfect imitation. He even went cross-eyed. I have never been so turned off so fast. It was an impressive imitation, but absolutely not the time. I can't see or hear Goofy without shuddering." Women, has a man ever given you the ick while hooking up? What did he do? Tell us in the comments or share anonymously using this form. Note: Submissions have been edited for length and/or clarity.
