Cleveland Browns quarterback Kenny Pickett will be sidelined because of a hamstring injury.
The injury is believed to have occurred during a red zone 11-on-11 drill late in Saturday's practice, a person with knowledge of the injury said Sunday.
The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Browns were off on Sunday. Coach Kevin Stefanski is expected to address Pickett's status before Monday's practice.

Reese Olson, Tigers' No. 2 starter, ruled out for regular season with shoulder strain

Detroit Tigers right-hander Reese Olson has been ruled out for the remainder of the regular season with a right shoulder strain that he experienced during his latest bullpen session. The Tigers are leaving the door open for Olson to return in the postseason. "We have some more tests scheduled for tomorrow before we can fully announce everything that happened," Tigers president of baseball operations Scott Harris said Monday, July 28, "but the MRI revealed enough to rule him out for the regular season." LET'S MAKE A DEAL: Tigers trade for Chris Paddack, Randy Dobnak from Twins Olson, 25, had a 3.15 ERA with 25 walks and 65 strikeouts across 68⅔ innings in 13 starts in the 2025 season. When healthy, Olson worked the Tigers' No. 2 starter behind Tarik Skubal. He previously missed nearly three months in 2024 with a right shoulder strain. He also missed two months in 2025 with right ring finger inflammation. On Monday, the Tigers traded for starting pitcher Chris Paddack from the Minnesota Twins, who will now help fill one of the vacant spots in the Tigers' rotation. This story will be updated. Orioles reinstate C Adley Rutschman and LHP Keegan Akin, but Félix Bautista won't return soon

BALTIMORE (AP) — The Baltimore Orioles reinstated catcher Adley Rutschman from the 10-day injured list Monday and fortified their depleted bullpen by bringing back lefty Keegan Akin from the IL. The return of Akin coincided with the news that closer Félix Bautista will endure an extended stay on the 15-day IL with a right shoulder injury that has kept him sidelined since July 24. 'An MRI (determined) there was a lot of swelling in the shoulder,' interim manger Tony Mansolino said. 'We can't quite make a determination yet, or diagnose it until the swelling goes down. That's going to be probably more weeks than days.' Bautista underwent Tommy John surgery in October of 2023 before returning this season to reclaim his role as the team's closer. The right-hander is 1-1 with a 2.60 ERA and 17 saves for the last-place club. 'It's incredibly disappointing,' Mansolino said of Bautista's latest injury. 'He's an important part of the Baltimore Orioles. A very unfortunate set of circumstances.' The return of Rutschman should improve the team's offense and lift the mood in the clubhouse. Rutschman — the top overall pick in the 2019 draft — was batting .227 with eight homers and 20 RBIs before going on the IL on June 20 with a left oblique strain. 'It's a big piece. He walked into the room and brought a lot of energy, right away,' Mansolino said. 'Lot of smiles, lot of hugs.' Akin missed 21 games with left shoulder inflammation. He's 3-0 with a 3.32 ERA. Baltimore cleared roster space for Rutschman and Akin by optioning pitcher Yaramil Hiraldo to Triple-A Norfolk and designating catcher Jacob Stallings for assignment. ___ AP MLB:

Titans waive 2022 1st-round pick WR Treylon Burks, who injured his right shoulder in practice

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans waived injured receiver Treylon Burks on Monday, two days after the former first-round draft pick injured his right shoulder while making a diving catch in practice. Burks was the Titans' first-round draft pick at No. 18 overall in 2022, a selection acquired by trading Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown to Philadelphia. Burks was hurt more often than not in his first three seasons out of Arkansas. He's considered the third consecutive first-round bust for the Titans, joining offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson (2020) and cornerback Caleb Farley (2021). Burks spent the offseason recovering from a partially torn knee ligament. He had his best season in 2022, catching 33 passes for 444 yards and a score. If he clears waivers, he will revert to the team's injured reserve. The Titans filled Burks' roster spot by signing Ramel Keyton, who signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2024. Keyton spent time on the Raiders' practice squad and active roster last season. He played in eight games, mostly on special teams. ___ AP NFL:
