Jax Taylor takes another swipe at ex Brittany Cartwright with shock marriage admission
Jax Taylor has dropped another chilling accusation that affects his ex-wife Brittany Cartwright, the mother of his four-year-old son Cruz.
'I think about it now, and I just don't personally think I am supposed to be in a relationship,' Taylor said. 'I just don't think I'm supposed to be married. You know, I've known this my whole life.'
He made this admission on the May 1 episode of his podcast In the Mind of a Man, in answer to a fan's question about dating again.
'I met Brittany and I thought, okay, maybe things are gonna be different. I love her and I want to be with her, and I — this is what you should do, you know?,' the Vanderpump Rules alum said.
'And deep, deep, deep down inside, I've always known that I just... I was never the person to get married.
And yet, Jax married Brittany Cartwright, 36, had Cruz with her, and never stopped partying or doing cocaine. He never settled into the relationship.
When the question of whether he'll date again was asked, Taylor said, 'I don't wanna answer that question because I don't know. As of right now, absolutely not.
'The person wasn't the problem,' he explained. 'Like, Brittany wasn't the problem — I'm the problem ... I get bored being in relationships. I don't wanna be in a relationship. I just don't like it.'
Jax went so far as calling himself 'the farthest thing [from who a woman] should date.'
'That's why I'm doing this tour, people, to show you I am the walking red flag. I am what you stay away from.
'Don't go anywhere near a guy like me,' he said of his upcoming live podcast tapings.
'And if I can help other girls stay away from men like me, then you know what? I've done my job.'
He continued, 'I feel like this is my job, is to go out there, talk about my sobriety, talk about my mental health, talk about the struggles that I've had with drugs and alcohol, and also to help women stay away from men like me. I feel like that's what my goal is right now.'
The podcast came out soon after episode two of season two of The Valley dropped in which his friends did an intervention on him and begged him to get help or Brittany wouldn't let him see their son.
Meanwhile, Brittany did not hold anything back when asked to assess her ex's bedroom abilities on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with her co-star from The Valley, Luke Broderick.
The aftermath of their relationship - which ended in August 2024 when she filed for divorce - has played out on this season of The Valley, which airs Tuesdays on Bravo.
Cartwright responded with a smile, opening with, 'Oh, lord. There was times when he was about a 7 or an 8.'
However, she added with a laugh, 'But majority of the time, no stamina, no nothing. A two or three.'
Cartwright and Taylor first started dating in 2015, two years after Bravo's Vanderpump Rules debuted.
They got engaged in June 2018 and tied the knot in 2019 in Brittany's home state of Kentucky, and then welcomed son Cruz in April 2021.
The couple shocked the reality TV world when they split, with Cartwright citing, 'irreconcilable differences.'
A month after her filing, Taylor revealed he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD, and announced he was checking himself into a rehab facility.
'The person wasn't the problem,' he explained. 'Like, Brittany wasn't the problem — I'm the problem ... I get bored being in relationships. I don't wanna be in a relationship. I just don't like it'; Brittany seen in March 2025
When asked on WWHL if there was ever any chance she would get back with Taylor, Cartwright insisted, '100% no.'
She admitted, 'I had weak moments, for sure. I was with him for ten years. Obviously, I loved him. And want nothing but the best for him.'
However, she added, 'But he has damaged our relationship far too much to go back,' and added the current state of their relationship was, 'not great.'
She also admitted that she's not, '100% sure' that Jax is sober now, though she said, 'I really hope he is sober.'
'His personality is still very much a Jax Taylor personality, so it's a lot of ups and downs,' Cartwright admitted.

Jessi And Whitney On Season 3 Of 'The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives' – And *That* Cliffhanger
No strangers to scandal, the influencers who make up #MomTok, a group of Mormon women who broke the internet after posting about a swinging scandal in the friendship group, were always destined for reality TV greatness. In less than a year they have gone from relatively niche social media stars to fully fledged celebrities recognised around the world. This is, of course, thanks to the overnight success of their Disney+ show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The first season premiered in September with an immediate second season commissioned, filmed and ready to air by May. It left fans with a lot of unanswered questions – not least because season two ended on the mother of all cliffhangers. In a reality TV metaverse maze, Vanderpump Rules star Marciano Brunette confessed to Mayci Neeley that it wasn't Demi Engemann he had a secret affair with but her best friend (now enemy?), Jessi Ngatikaura. The latter was not able to defend herself during the finale, so fans await the reunion episode on 1 July with bated breath. 'You know, months before it came out, I was aware of the situation and the reality of it, but I can't say much until the next season comes out' Jessi, who has been married to Jordan Ngatikaura since 2020, tells us. 'All I will say is there's so much more to that story than what was said at the finale. I'm looking forward to showing a little more vulnerability with the viewers and having them see a little more about my relationship and my life. I'm hoping someone can relate to it. I'm going to be pretty open and honest.' We don't know yet how the allegations have affected her relationship with Mayci, but her friendship with Demi was already hanging by a thread. In season two, Jessi confessed that she's tired of being Demi's lap dog, as viewers witnessed Demi comfortably move into the role of the show's new #MomTok villain. 'We're not like what we used to be,' reveals Jessi. 'I do feel like we've had a chance to talk through some things and after seeing season two, I think a lot of people can reflect on how they acted and put things into perspective. I would just hope that, as co-workers, we can be cordial. We were best friends at one point, but it just won't be what it was.' Adding, 'I'd rather that than have an enemy. It's draining!' In the Mormon wives circle, the term 'friendship' is a loose one. Like most successful reality TV shows, TSLMW is hinged on fallouts, showdowns and scandal. Whitney Leavitt knows this better than any of them. After season one aired, she formally left the group (and the group chat) and took to social media to claim she was given the 'villain edit'. Unsurprisingly given the show's success, she made a bold return in season two and has been passively voted back into the friendship group, even if she's not been added to the group chat yet. 'First of all, can we ban the voting?' she jokes when we speak. 'I said it as a joke and then people took it a little bit too seriously. It was like 'you can be here, but I don't really want you here'. I don't really know how to take that.' Of course, she is referring most specifically to Mikayla Matthews, who firmly voted against her re-initiation. Regardless of awkward dynamics, being part of #MomTok is a lucrative prospect. It might involve some turmoil in their personal lives and a relentless stream of speculation on social media, but it has turned their circle into a profitable business. How have their lives changed in the past year? Whitney is not shy to answer first. 'Financially, the fame, the opportunities, the people we've met, it's all drastically changed. In my experience watching, most TV shows take a few seasons to gain traction and catch on and we had an overnight hit.' 'We've been thrown into success,' she continues, 'which is such a blessing, and we know how lucky we are. We do not take that for granted.' Demi agrees: 'There's been a few moments when I'm recognised in another country and it's a "woah" moment, but I hope it never goes to our heads. That's when it gets dangerous.' What hasn't changed, however, is their collective commitment to the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints – even if it is characteristically unconventional. 'Some portrayals (of the Church) are fair and accurate, but others resort to stereotypes or gross misinterpretations that are in poor taste and have real-life consequences for people of faith,' the Church said in a statement about the Disney+ show. 'I mean, I don't really care, just because I know that my intentions are good,' Whitney responds. 'I'm not going to bash the church. None of us are, and none of us are wanting to represent the church. We're just sharing our lives and all of us happen to have a little bit of Mormonism in that.' 'Even if our show wasn't called what it was, if it was just a reality show set in Utah, then it would come up regardless because it's so apart of the culture and it's so saturated there,' adds Jessi. Regardless of the church's disapproval, #MomTok has done a lot to challenge some of the more harmful and sexist stereotypes of Mormon culture. This was perhaps most prevalent in the breakdown of Jen and Zac's relationship in season one. 'Not every marriage in the church is like this,' says Jessi, 'but some are more traditional where the man has the priesthood and is the head of the household and sometimes there's a power dynamic there. Jen and Zac really broke that open and I think Zack learned from it, which is great, and he's working on himself and she's working on things too.' 'I think it showed that it can be a little bit like that in the church and we're trying to show that it's okay to be breadwinners and moms at the same time, and to go after our dreams and also be housewives,' she continues. 'I think we're just kind of showing you can have it all.' Naturally, the #MomTok husbands have caught on. In the recent season we saw the fumbling origins of #DadTok, not yet a convincing rival of the original. Will this take off more in season three? 'I think we're always, obviously the focus,' Jessi laughs. 'But it shows the husbands support what we do now and understand it a little more. We're a legit business.' But both reality stars promise that viewers will have their most pressing questions answered in season three (and perhaps the reunion too). Jessi, for her part, says season three felt 'very different' and 'crazy' to film compared with the past two seasons. 'There were so many moving parts and answers and speculations. It was like putting a puzzle piece together, so I'm excited to see how people like it.' The season two reunion special of The Secret Wives of Mormon Wives airs on Hulu and Disney+ on 1 July.

NBC reality star breaks down as mom's Stage 4 cancer was first dismissed as 'food poisoning'
Michelle Saniei became emotional on the latest episode of The Valley, recalling her late mom's heartbreaking cancer battle. The reality star, 36, opened up about her mother's diagnosis during the June 10 show, revealing her mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer after going to the doctor with symptoms she initially believed were caused by food poisoning. The episode was filmed in the summer of 2024, and her mother passed away that November. 'I actually don't talk about it a lot,' Saniei told co-star LaLa Kent, 34, before opening up further in a confessional. She explained that her mom had received the diagnosis the year before her death, around the same time Saniei was dealing with her bitter split from Jesse Lally. The reality star, 36, opened up about her mother's diagnosis during the June 10 show, revealing her mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer after going to the doctor with symptoms she initially believed were caused by food poisoning 'My mom got sick about a year ago when I was going through everything with Jesse," Saniei said. 'She thought she had food poisoning and had to go to the doctor, and she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.' Saniei continued to Kent, 'She did her first treatment of chemo and it did not work. 'So then now she's in her second treatment but the problem is it's kind of everywhere now. I don't think I have much longer with her.' As she began to break down in tears, Saniei added, 'It's been very hard for me because my mom is my best friend and the one who supports me the most.' On Tuesday night, Michelle took to Instagram to honor her mother, sharing a heartfelt carousel of photos alongside a moving caption. 'Sharing my heart with you tonight. This was the first time I spoke on camera about my mom's battle with cancer,' she wrote. 'She's no longer with us, but her love and strength are with me every day. I miss her deeply, and I'm grateful to share a little piece of her with you. Tonight is for you, Mom. I miss you every day.' The emotional episode comes as viewers continue to watch the real estate agent navigate her ongoing divorce from ex-husband Jesse Lally in the show's second season. However, their split has taken a nasty turn amid accusations of cheating, questions surrounding Jesse's finances, and his claim that Michelle was sleeping with a billionaire for $1,500 a night. One of the more unexpected moments from the season occurred during episode three, when Jesse shared his theory to co-stars Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick that his former wife was secretly dating her current boyfriend during their marriage. 'I don't actually know what's going on with Michelle,' Jesse said in the episode, which aired April 29. 'She's most likely with her boyfriend [Aaron] for the last two years.' The 43-year-old real estate agent continued in his confessional: 'Nothing about Michelle and Aaron adds up. I think there was a situation that happened with the two of them while I was married.' While chatting with Kristen and Luke, Jesse pointed out that Michelle would go on morning hikes without wearing her wedding ring. He also explained how he found Aaron's honey brand, The Kilo Company, in their kitchen years before she began dating the founder and financial advisor. Speaking exclusively to Michelle revealed that she couldn't help but burst out in laughter after watching the episode back and witnessing Jesse's theories about the origin of her relationship with Aaron. 'That actually really made me laugh,' she told 'It really made me laugh because I knew Aaron, just like we know a lot of people,' Michelle said, pointing out that Jesse had also known his current girlfriend, Lacy Nicole, prior to them dating. '[It] does not mean anything,' she continued. 'Yeah, I had that honey, I was very clear. I never wore makeup to a hiking trail, that's not true. And I would take off my ring just as he would going to the gym.' Michelle added it was 'comical to watch' her ex searching for proof that she was unfaithful with Aaron during her marriage to Jesse. In March 2024, just days before The Valley season one premiered, the former couple announced their divorce after nearly six years of marriage. Michelle and Jesse are also parents to five-year-old daughter Isabella Bunny. The first season of the reality TV show – which is a spin-off of Bravo's Vanderpump Rules – saw Michelle and Jesse struggling to find common ground in their marriage amid rumors of infidelity. Vanderpump Rules alum and The Valley star Kristen previously claimed Michelle 'had a boyfriend for a year' while she was still married to Jesse. There was also swirling speculation that Michelle had been spending time with an A-list director at celeb hotspot the Chateau Marmont; she recently revealed the director to be none other than Quentin Tarentino. The season one finale picked up with Michelle and Jesse six months after filming had wrapped, with Michelle begging her now-estranged husband to sign their divorce papers. These days, it seems that Michelle and Jesse are nowhere closer to being divorced than when she first filed in March 2024. However, the podcast host revealed to that her ex has 'now had a change of heart' and 'wants to move forward' in their divorce proceedings. 'We're kind of in the same place where we were six months ago,' she told 'I've been going back and forth, or my lawyers have really been going back and forth with Jesse. 'It seems that he's now had a change of heart and he wants to move forward, so I hope that is the case. I'm hoping for the best, because I feel like we're both sick and tired of it and we just want to move on.' As for how the former couple has handled co-parenting Isabella, Michelle explained that agreeing on what's best for their daughter has been smooth sailing compared to their actual divorce. 'Honestly, that part is amazing. I've said time and time again he's a great father, which is why I never wanted to have full custody,' Michelle said. She explained that she even moved 'five minutes away' from her former home in Los Angeles – where Jesse still lives – because she 'didn't want to change the dynamic' for their daughter. 'We both see her every two days, so she gets to see both parents pretty often, and we're both really good at the schedule. I know I have to drop her off and he has to pick her up from school. That part is actually not a problem at all.' While the second season of The Valley is well underway with loads of drama that fans have yet to see, the entire cast recently gathered together to film the reunion episode. When asked what fans can expect to see from the reunion special, Michelle played coy about details but revealed that 'everybody had a chance to speak.' 'It's really hard because there's so much to go over and talk about, but I feel like everybody gets their word in and what they want to say,' she said. New episodes of The Valley air every Tuesday at 9pm ET on Bravo.

Cruz Beckham breaks silence with heartbreaking post as feud with Brooklyn escalates
Cruz shared the sweet family snap online. Cruz Beckham has appeared to respond to reports that big brother Brooklyn wants to cut ties with the family in a heartbreaking post. Brooklyn, who is the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, has reportedly been feuding with his family over wife Nicola Peltz and is said to be ignoring his parents' messages. Sources close to the 26-year-old recently claimed that Brooklyn told his family "he wants no contact and he's not responding to those that try to connect". Not long after these claims emerged, the youngest Beckham brother, Cruz, took to his Instagram to share a telling picture. Cruz shared an old picture of the four Beckham children, including Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, cuddling up to their mum Victoria. The picture appeared to be very old as the siblings are much younger. In the sweet photo, the fashion designer can be seen holding then-baby Harper while the rest of the boys leaned in towards their mum on the sofa. Cruz's post comes after the news that his dad, David, 50, will finally be awarded a knighthood in the King's Birthday Honours list this week, writes The Mirror. Posh Spice will now be known as Lady Beckham. However, he reportedly didn't tell Brooklyn about the honour with David's eldest son only finding out in the news. Insiders close to the budding chef told Page Six that he was delighted that his father was finally receiving the honour and had known it was so important. However, a separate source close to the Beckhams told the publication: "Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he's not responding to those that try to connect." Yet a separate Brooklyn source denied the claim, saying: "This seems to be another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth, and it only serves to distract from this honour being bestowed on Brooklyn's father." Last month, Brooklyn made a post which seemed to be a dig to his famous mum, dad and siblings, vowing that he will "always choose" his wife Nicola Peltz after claims that she has been the cause for the family fall out. In the video shared on social media, Brooklyn was seen revving a motorbike alongside Nicola in Beverly Hills. He wrote in the caption: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby." The message appeared to be unmistakably pointed at his family feud. The clip is the first public move either Brooklyn or Nicola has made in relation to the very visible divide within the Beckham family. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
