RANGERS are desperate to keep Nico Raskin beyond this summer after a standout campaign at Ibrox last season.
But Russell Martin may face a fight to hold onto the star midfielder as he's reportedly a transfer target for a Europa League club this window.

Raskin, 24, has two years left on his Rangers deal but SunSport understands the club are set to offer him a bumper new contract.
We told you last month how the Light Blues were preparing to fend off interest with fresh terms for the midfielder who recently broke his way into the Belgium squad.
Gers boss Martin wants to build his team around the midfield dynamo and contract discussions are on the agenda.
But they may need to act fast to tie him down as Spanish giants Real Betis have reportedly joined the race for him this week.
Spanish outlet Mucho Deporte claim the four-cap Belgian ace is one player Manuel Pellegrini is looking at as a replacement for outgoing midfielders Johnny Cardoso and William Carvalho.
The pair helped Betis reach the Uefa Conference League final last season, where they were beaten by Chelsea.
Cardoso, 23, has since sealed a big-money move to rivals Atletico Madrid, while the report suggests club icon Carvalho is also on his way out.
Carvalho has been at the club since 2018 and has enjoyed great success with his national team Portugal - winning the 2016 Euros and 2018/19 Nations League.
Pellegrini will be left with two massive voids to fill ahead of next season and is already weighing up moves for a replacement - or two.
And it's stated that Raskin has caught the Italian's eyes.
'Absolutely brilliant or RUBBISH' - Gassama Rangers transfer verdict and Souttar to leave
Rangers spent around £1.75million to sign Raskin from Standard Liege in January 2023 and his value is soaring.
The Ibrox club are in line to bank a huge profit on the midfielder should he depart in the coming weeks.
But sporting director Kevin Thelwell and the club's new US owners are determined to tie him down on a longer deal to protect their asset.

Furious Crystal Palace fans launch UEFA protest amid club's Europa League appeal

Crystal Palace fans protested UEFA 's decision to demote their club from the Europa League to the Conference League. The demotion was due to a breach of multi-club ownership rules, specifically concerning co-owner John Textor's involvement with both Palace and Lyon. Members of the Holmesdale Fanatics travelled to UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, to hand-deliver a letter to president Aleksander Ceferin demanding the ruling be overturned. The fan group also presented UEFA with a suitcase of fake money, symbolising perceived contradictions in the organisation's values and conduct. Following the protest, Palace lodged an appeal against UEFA, Nottingham Forest, and Lyon with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), with a decision anticipated by 11 August.

England Lionesses set for Euro 2025 final in Basel: Date, kick-off time and TV coverage details

England's Lionesses are through to the Euro 2025 final after completing a dramatic comeback win over Italy in their semi-final clash on Tuesday evening England's Lionesses have made it to their third consecutive major tournament final, following a thrilling comeback victory over Italy in the Euro 2025 semi-final on Tuesday. ‌ Barbara Bonansea put Italy ahead and England were teetering on the brink of elimination. However, super-sub Michelle Agyemang scored a last-gasp equaliser in the sixth minute of added time, keeping England's dreams alive. ‌ Fellow substitute Chloe Kelly held her nerve in extra-time after England were awarded a penalty, slotting home the rebound after her first attempt was saved. ‌ This victory means England will now face either Spain or Germany in the final as they aim to defend the trophy they won on home turf three years ago, having survived two extraordinary knockout matches. Here, Record Sport provides all the details you need to know ahead of the final, including match specifics and how to tune in.... When and where is England's final match? The final is set to kick off at 5:00pm BST on Sunday, 27 July 2025, at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland. The stadium, which can hold 34,250 spectators, is the home ground of FC Basel and is the largest football venue in Switzerland, notably hosting the 2016 Europa League final where Sevilla triumphed over Liverpool 3-1. How can you watch England in the final? In the UK, supporters will be spoilt for choice as the match will be broadcast live on both BBC One and ITV1, with coverage commencing at 4:00pm BST. Fans can also stream the match for free on BBC iPlayer and ITVX. BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds will also offer live commentary, while highlights will be available post-match on the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer. What's been said? England skipper Leah Williamson has acknowledged her team's path to the final has been far from "not been smooth sailing", but has vowed the Lionesses will "give it everything we can" regardless of their opponents in Basel. ‌ "I am very proud," she declared following the victory over Italy. "I think everybody that plays for this team knows how lucky they are to have stepped into a time when we are so successful, but also just being a part of it, how inspirational it is for us, let alone everybody watching. "It has not been smooth sailing and I feel like things haven't necessarily gone to plan. We said before we came in and I said I am intrigued to see the level just keeps rising and there are more and more unknowns and you have to be ready for everything. "And I don't think it has gone smooth sailing for anybody yet, which is the point. It makes a great tournament and it shows what is going on. We just have to keep rising as well, this new England has to find their feet quicker, which is good."

Stunning strikes from Findlay Curtis and debutant Djeidi Gassama sealed the crucial first leg win in the Champions League second qualifying round tie. Bailey Rice was in the squad for the clash but didn't get off the bench. Still, he certainly enjoyed a good day and not only because of the football! Earlier in the day, Rice's RACEHORSE enjoyed a successful afternoon of things in the feature race at Musselburgh. Jm Jhingree was victorious in the Hays Travel Holiday Outside The Box Handicap in East Lothian. A 10/1 outsider, the three-year old won the 10-horse race with jockey Paul Mulrennan. It's Jm Jhingree's first ever victory. He's trained by Jim Goldie, who took to social media to exclaim his delight at the victory for the horse - and its owner! Gers ace Rice, 18, wasn't there to see his horse triumph, for rather obvious reasons. Rangers fans unfurl giant tifo ahead of Russell Martin's first match Trainer Goldie posted on X: "We're delighted for his owner Bailey Rice as this is his first winner! "Unfortunately he couldn't make it to Musselburgh as there's an important Champions League qualifier at Ibrox he may be playing in!" Rice was an unused sub during the huge clash in Govan. He'll be hoping to see some action in Greece next week when the Gers look to see the tie through and progress to the next round.
