Lana Del Rey sparks concern after hinting she didn't sign prenup with swamp tour guide husband

Daily Mail30-04-2025
Lana Del Rey has sparked concern she did not sign a prenup after she appeared to reveal a detail about her marriage over the weekend.
Devoted fans of the 39-year-old singer have expressed surprise after she debuted a new song with lyrics about her whirlwind wedding during her Stagecoach performance.
At the country music festival, she sang a new tune titled Stars Fell On Alabama, which fans have also referred to as Husband of Mine, dedicated to her swamp tour guide husband Jeremy Dufrene.
The lyrics led fans to believe that she did not sign a prenup when marrying the boat captain and alligator tour guide less than a year ago.
Though the pair have not publicly disclosed whether they have a prenup, fans are convinced her reported $30 million fortune is at risk if they would ever divorce.
During her same festival appearance, she also performed for the first time another new song titled 57.5, revealing in the lyrics that she once kissed the controversial country singer Morgan Wallen.
Opening her performance, the crooner sang: 'Husband of mine / Don't let them put all this paper between us.
'What's yours is mine / What's mine is between you, me and Jesus / I've got nothing to lose except you and maybe my mind.'
The revealing lyrics sparked worry among her fans, with one X, formerly Twitter, user sharing concern that a potential divorce could see Dufrene claim Lana's millions.
'Oh no, he's going to take her hard earned money,' one tweet read.
'I truly believe miss Lana Del Rey does everything for the plot because why is she admitting to the world she didn't make that man sign a prenup in a song,' another questioned.
'She literally just said she didn't make him sign a prenup,' yet another comment read.
Someone else added: 'Concerned he didn't sign a prenup.'
'Does this mean there's no prenup?? she said what's mine is yours.'
Elsewhere in the song, she preemptively apologized to her 50-year-old husband, who is 10 years her senior, for the ageist comments he might face following their marriage.
'I apologize in advance for what they'll say about the lines on your face / They're a road map of your lovely life / Hope they extend you a little grace.'

Back in September 2024, the songstress married the gator tour guide in a shock wedding — just one month after debuting their romance.
They exchanged vows by the water in Des Allemandes, Louisiana at the same bayou where Dufrene operates his popular swamp tours.
Earlier this month, she dropped her new single Henry, Come On, a country ballad from her 10th studio album.
The new songs are expected to be released as part of her upcoming album, which was originally titled The Right Person Will Stay and set for release on May 21.
However, the musician later shared a since-deleted Instagram reel, in which she told her fans that the release date and the album title have been changed.
'You know it's not going to come on time, right? Should I even tell you that the name changed again?
'Should I tell you that now, while you're so happy that you even have a song? Yeah, maybe I'll wait,' she said, per Rolling Stone.

Matthew Perry documentary leaves fans in tears as his painful final days revealed

Matthew Perry's documentary on his life and battle with drug and alcohol addiction left fans emotional as viewers say 'The world is missing a beautiful, funny and caring man' Friends star Matthew Perry's documentary on his life and battle with drug and alcohol addiction left fans in tears as his final days were revealed before he tragically died in 2023, following a dose of ketamine. ‌ Viewers were left heartbroken after watching the new ITV show, Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy, which aired on August 18. The show aired just one day before what would have been his 56th birthday. ‌ The actor, who is highly known for his iconic character Chandler Bing in the American sitcom Friends, died at the age of 54 after drowning in his hot tub following a dose of ketamine on October 28, 2023. ‌ The hour-long film lifts the lid on Matthew Perry's personal battles with trauma and inner torment. The programme also explores an addiction so relentless it shaped every chapter of Matthew's life. It comes after David Beckham speaks 'as a father' in 'family' announcement after latest Brooklyn snub. With exclusive interviews with journalists, celebrity friends and law enforcement, the documentary also includes excerpts of Matthew's 2022 autobiographical memoir, Friends, Lovers And The Big Terrible Thing, in which he recalled his rise to fame and his lifelong battle with alcohol and drugs. After watching the emotional show, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their emotions. One viewer wrote: 'This Matthew Perry documentary is heartbreaking', while another added: 'The world is missing a beautiful, funny and caring man. I can't believe he passed away almost 2 years ago. We miss you, Matty'. A third wrote: 'Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy, is so sad. He seemed like such a great human', while another penned: 'Watching the sad tale of our FRIENDS Matthew Perry. So tragic. RIP bro in harms'. ‌ 'Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy is now on ITV, STV and ITVX. The world is missing a beautiful, funny and caring man. I can't believe he passed away almost 2 years ago. We miss you Matty', another beloved fan stated. Born on 19 August 1969, Matthew Langford Perry spent his childhood in Ottawa, Canada, following his parents' separation. He was brought up primarily by his mother, Suzanne, a journalist who went on to work as press secretary for former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. Meanwhile, his father, American actor John Bennett Perry, pursued a career in Hollywood, making their relationship difficult and often distant. The physical separation and John's growing success meant father and son saw little of each other in Matthew's early years. Matthew had his first alcoholic drink when he was just 14 years old. During an interview with Canadian broadcaster Tom Power, he opened up on the pivotal moment and how it sparked a decades-long battle. 'I drank the entire bottle and just felt better than I ever had in my entire life,' he said at the time. 'I thought to myself this is probably what normal people feel like all the time.'

EastEnders fans call former couple 'endgame' as they finally reunite in steamy scenes

EastEnders fans were overjoyed at the end of Monday night's episode as Ravi Gulati and Priya Nandra-Hart unexpectedly rekindled their relationship in steamy scenes It was an eventful time in Albert Square on Monday, as EastEnders fans were left overjoyed when former couple Ravi Gulati and Priya Nandra-Hart unexpectedly rekindled their romance. ‌ After moving out from Suki Panesar's house after Suki was exposed for asking pregnant teen Avani to keep her baby for her, Avani and her mum Priya moved in with her ex Ravi, Avani's father. Now, it looks like the two could be getting back on track - but one huge thing stands in the way. ‌ The unexpected scenes came after an argument between the two became passionate after Ravi scolded Priya for not taking Avani shopping like he'd promised, after her recent termination. It comes after an EastEnders legend was rushed to hospital after a deadly attack by a familiar face. ‌ Ravi, who still has the police watching over him following his dodgy dealings, opened up about how he felt bad for continuously letting his daughter down. Reassuring her ex, Priya said: "You've been brilliant with her. Getting her away from Suki for a start. And I mean you were probably having a go at Jack to look out for her. I reckon you've been a pretty good dad to her today, even if you didn't take her out." Ravi later opened up about losing the restaurant due to tax problems, but told Priya that she and the kids were all that mattered to him. "Isn't that what you want? Me, you, the kids, a proper family," Ravi said as the pair leaned in to kiss each other. It didn't stop there as the next scene cut to the couple in the bedroom, with Priya telling Ravi: "I thought you'd have learnt a few new things after all these years. Of course, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter to react to the raunchy scenes. ‌ One fan wrote: "Priya & Ravi have the potential to be the greatest couple the square has ever seen." Another fan said: "I ship Ravi and Priya so bad," as a third wrote: "I will take Ravi and Priya in any way I can get them." A further fan called them " endgame". However, the conversation quickly turned serious, as Priya told Ravi that she wanted to get back together, which can't happen whilst he's still into "all the shady stuff". Despite Ravi promising Priya he's find a way to be legit again, it doesn't look like it'd be happening anytime soon. At the end of the episode, he was heard telling someone on the phone to "shift as much gear as you can" on Bank Holiday weekend. Will Ravi ever change his ways and will the family be back together for good? Good Morning Britain fans 'switch off' as ITV presenter makes return to show

Good Morning Britain viewers were left unimpressed as they complained about the "worst pairing ever" on Monday's installment of the ITV show. Good Morning Britain fans "switched off" the breakfast show after seeing that one particular ITV presenter had returned to the programme. During Monday morning's episode on August 18, presenter Kate Garraway was joined by Adil Ray to announce the latest news from across the UK and around the world. ‌ They spoke about Europe's leaders flying to Washington to show their support for Ukraine and whether the courts should start to crack down on shoplifting. There was also some debate on a potential tax on the wealth of Britain's top bosses, which has reached a record high. ‌ Kate and Adil were joined in the studio by Sean Fletcher, who presented the rest of the day's news while Laura Tobin delivered regular weather forecasts live from Kew Gardens. However, several GMB fans were left unimpressed by Adil's return to the show with many taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their savage reactions. ‌ After Ben Shephard's exit from the show last year, Adil has been on rotation as a Friday host and usually fronts the ITV programme with either Kate, Laura, or Charlotte Hawkins. However, the Citizen Khan star had not been seen on screen for several weeks, the Mirror reports. After seeing Adil return to the helm on Monday, one viewer brutally remarked on social media: "I'll pass on that thanks". Another also issued a complaint: "Nobody will get a word in with these two presenters. Switches over." A third simply declared: "No thanks," while a fourth remarked: "Worst pairing ever. You can do better than this." ‌ Yet another echoed this sentiment, penning: "Sorry but I will not be watching." Meanwhile, other GMB fans have shared their delight at Adil's appearance with one exclaiming: "Yes! Love Adil! But to be honest all the @GMB presenters are really good." Another chimed in with enthusiasm: "I like this pairing on GMB. At heart, both exceptional interviewers," while a third added: "What a great pair today." ‌ The news comes after Adil unveiled his shocking connection to Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan, sharing that they had a "lovely" dinner together 12 years ago. Lohan recently returned to the screen to reprise her role as Anna Coleman in the sequel of Freakier Friday alongside on-screen mum Jamie Lee Curtis, 23 years after the original 2003 film. ‌ Linday's dinner date with Adil was revealed on air earlier this month after GMB presenter Melvin Odoom got in a cheeky dig at him after he attended the Freakier Friday premiere in London. The former I'm A Celeb star said: "Adil, you know Lindsay right? Are you best mates?" Adil then began to laugh as he replied: "You know when I say things off air, you're not supposed to repeat them." ‌ Filling co-host Kate in, he explained: "Yes, I had dinner with Lindsay. Me and Lindsay, we had dinner together, she's lovely!" Kate was left gobsmacked as she demanded an explanation. She said: "Stop. How did this happen? Where were you?" as cheeky Melvin asked: "Did you slide in the DMs?" ‌ However, Adil insisted that their meet up was not romantic and just came about through a mutual connection. He said: "It wasn't a date, it wasn't a date. We had mutual friends, and we all went out for dinner. "She came along, we happened to sit next to each other, we had a lovely evening, and she's absolutely adorable. "She's a fantastic human, really smart, really intelligent, really well-lived. Just great, great to hang out with her - me and Linz."
