Elon Musk baby mama Ashley St. Clair reveals next move a year after self-described ‘career suicide' scandal

New York Post2 days ago
Elon Musk's baby mama, Ashley St. Clair, has revealed her next venture after a year of so-called 'career suicide' following the announcement of her child with the billionaire SpaceX mogul.
The conservative influencer launched the 'Bad Advice' podcast on Monday, uploading the first episode to Musk's platform, X, full of hair-brained ramblings on everything from the attack on ex-DOGE staffer Big Balls to how 'hot' Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has let California slip into a homeless crisis.
'Well, after a year of unplanned career suicide, many questionable life choices and a gap in my LinkedIn profile that cannot legally be explained, I've decided to start a podcast,' St. Clair said in the 30-minute clip.

'Unlike your Ben Shapiros or your Megyn Kellys, I'm not starting this because I think my big brain thoughts and my podcast mic are the greatest gift to humanity.
'I actually think I have the worst ideas, so consider everything out of my mouth a cautionary tale,' she quipped.

St. Clair, who claimed to have given birth to Elon Musk's 13th child in an X post in February, stated she was getting 'evicted' and had secured an essential $10,000 sponsorship from trade company Polymarket for the episode.
She previously told The Post that Musk provided her with a lavish apartment in New York's Financial District — where rent for a two-bedroom can soar to nearly $40,000, according to StreetEasy.
St. Clair went on to slam Edward Coristine, the former member of the Department of Government Efficiency known as Big Balls, who was beaten and bloodied by a mob of 10 minors as he thwarted a carjacking attempt in the nation's capital, according to DC police.

'The damage was on par with what I sustained after I told my toddler he couldn't watch Paw Patrol,' she said, referring to Coristine as 'Elon Musk's DOGE crony' as the Tesla CEO spearheaded the Trump administration's cost-cutting agency.
'Two teenagers tried to steal a car, and instead of just letting them take it, Big Balls decided to intervene. He was with his girlfriend or lady partner, whatever the Musk orbit calls their non-committal fluid breeding vessel contenders these days,' St. Clair rambled.
She then blasted the Trump administration for its subsequent federal crime crackdown in the nation's capital.
'The White House is apparently considering giving Big Balls the Presidential Medal of Freedom for getting his a– beat, which is fascinating because I was under the impression that Republicans were morally opposed to participation trophies,' she said.

'Since when does losing a street fight make you Rosa Parks?'
In a separate bit, St. Clair commented on TikToker Kendra Hilty, who went viral after posting a series of videos professing her love for her psychiatrist and relationship with an AI chatbot named 'Henry.'
She joked that Hilty was lucky to have found ultimate love with a computer.
'She's probably libeling her psychiatrist. And so what if she's in love with Chat GPT with Henry? You know what Henry won't do? Henry won't sue her for full custody even when he doesn't see the kids,' she charged.
St. Clair ended the marathon commentary session with a speech about Newsom, the cost of living and the homeless crisis in California.
3 St.Clair went on to slam Ex-DOGE staff member, Big Balls, and make several jokes about custody battles with billionaires.

'He's hot. He's tall. He's got the hair, the teeth, the smug … He's got the hot supervillain vibes, very Patrick Bateman to me. He's like, if Patrick Bateman pretended to care about climate change, you could drop him into an Axe body spray commercial or a Senate hearing, same expression,' she said of Newsom.
'Crime is also through the roof in California. Same racket, endless task forces, community dialogues, pilot programs. Nothing changes except the balance sheets of every consultant in Sacramento,' she said.

'Who needs Medicare when a TikTok duet hits better than the meds ever will. If you want to win, don't make life better, make the show better. Gavin gets that …. this is also why they lose their mind over someone like Zohran Mamdani,' St. Clair concluded, name-dropping the Democratic socialist Big Apple mayoral front-runner.
In a previous exclusive sit-down from her glitzy Manhattan pad, St. Clair, 26, described the 53-year-old Tesla and SpaceX mogul as 'funny' and 'down to Earth' — but claimed that he wanted to keep their baby a secret for everyone's safety.
The South African Tesla founder had five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson — twins Vivian and Griffin and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian. The son Nevada died from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at just 10 weeks old in 2002.

Pop star Grimes and Musk share three children, including toddler X, who has been seen with his father around the White House, girl Exa Dark Siderael and boy Techno Mechanicus.
Musk and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis also share twins, Strider and Azure, daughter Arcadia and son Seldon Lycurgus.
St. Clair asked to keep her son's name a secret, but revealed he is happy and healthy.

Gavin Newsom and Kid Rock trade insults in escalating online feud

California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Kid Rock are locked in a very public spat after the governor's press office mocked the singer with a parody post — and the musician fired back with a crude insult. The dispute began when Newsom's staff shared an AI-style image of Kid Rock dressed as Uncle Sam with the slogan, 'Kid Rock wants YOU to support Gavin Newsom.' The post on Sunday, Aug. 17, written in a parody of President Donald Trump's Truth Social style, ended with the governor's initials: 'I ACCEPT! — GCN.' Kid Rock, a vocal Trump supporter, fired back the next day. I ACCEPT! — GCN — Governor Newsom Press Office (@GovPressOffice) August 18, 2025 The back-and-forth echoes Trump's online attacks on pop star Taylor Swift after she endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris last year. Trump declared, 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' on Truth Social, and shared AI-generated images falsely suggesting her support. Newsom, widely seen as a potential 2028 presidential contender, has leaned on this trolling strategy to mock Trump and his allies. A recent poll showed him climbing among Democratic hopefuls, while liberal commentators applauded his tone.

Illinois Governor Signs First-in-Midwest Crypto Consumer Protection Laws

Illinois became the first state in the Midwest to pass comprehensive safeguards for crypto users on Monday, as Governor J.B. Pritzker signed two bills aimed at curbing fraud in a market where residents lost more than a quarter-billion dollars last year. 'While the Trump Administration is letting crypto bros write federal policy, Illinois is implementing common-sense protections for investors and consumers,' Pritzker said in a Monday statement. The Digital Assets and Consumer Protection Act (SB1797) and the Digital Asset Kiosk Act (SB2319) were signed into law after months of debate in Springfield. Together, they set new rules for digital asset businesses and impose restrictions on crypto ATMs, where scams have become increasingly common. Both bills were sponsored entirely by Democratic lawmakers. Illinois' new crypto framework The new framework gives the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation authority to oversee exchanges and wallet providers while requiring companies to adopt cybersecurity safeguards, anti-fraud measures, and basic consumer service standards. State Senator Mark Walker first introduced SB1797 in February, with the legislation gaining momentum in April when the Illinois Senate Executive Committee passed it in an 8-4 vote. Walker then cited mounting crypto fraud losses, noting that Illinois residents lost over $163 million in 2023 alone. The FBI reported that Illinois residents lost $272 million to crypto fraud in 2024, recording 4,657 crypto-related complaints, making it the most common form of financial crime in the state. The state also ranked fifth in the nation for crypto fraud complaints and losses, behind only California, Florida, Texas, and New York. Crypto kiosk crackdown SB2319 requires ATM operators to register with state regulators, cap transaction fees at 18%, limit daily transactions for new customers to $2,500, and issue full refunds to victims of scams. Some provisions, including kiosk refunds, take effect immediately, while businesses have until July 1, 2027, to register with the state. Illinois currently hosts about 1,482 crypto ATMs, up from around 1,687 in 2022, with installations beginning in 2014, according to Coin ATM Radar. FinCEN Issues Warning on Bitcoin ATMs Used in Scams Federal crypto legislation backlash The governor's statement cited federal deregulation efforts and reduced oversight of crypto businesses under the Trump administration. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) warned last week that newly passed crypto legislation "supercharges President Trump's corruption," citing his family's crypto business benefits from billions in foreign backing. Warren Warns Crypto Regulation 'Supercharges President Trump's Corruption' Warren accused the crypto industry of writing its own regulatory framework and called current federal restrictions "weak, weak restrictions" that enable use by "terrorists and drug traffickers." Banking groups have also pushed back against the recently enacted GENIUS Act, recently warning Congress about loopholes that could trigger massive deposit flight from traditional banks to yield-bearing stablecoins. Obama: Newsom redistricting approach ‘responsible'

Former President Obama backs California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D)'s plan to redraw California's congressional districts if it helps offset new maps in Texas that are more favorable to Republicans. 'I believe that Gov. Newsom's approach is a responsible approach,' Obama told a Martha's Vineyard, Mass., fundraiser crowd Tuesday, according to excerpts shared with reporters. 'We're only going to do it if and when Texas and/or other Republican states begin to pull these maneuvers. Otherwise, this doesn't go into effect.' Newsom, who is considered a contender for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028, has been leading Democrats as they battle against the GOP's efforts to maintain control of the House in the 2026 midterms. President Trump set off a political arms race for more right-tilted and left-tilted House districts in states where one party holds control. Trump pushed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) to call state lawmakers into a special session to approve new maps to boost the number of reliably Republican seats, setting off a fight with Democrats in Texas and elsewhere. Newsom responded by calling on California lawmakers to come up with ways to skirt the state's redistricting regulations and produce maps more favorable to Democrats to even the score. Obama said he personally believes that redistricting should be strictly nonpartisan, but he doesn't fault Democrats for engaging in the tit-for-tat. 'I've had to wrestle with my preference, which would be that we don't have political gerrymandering, but what I also know is that if we don't respond effectively, then this White House and Republican-controlled state governments all across the country, they will not stop, because they do not appear to believe in this idea of an inclusive, expansive democracy,' he told the crowd. 'They want to restrict it, and they're not that shy about saying so.' 'That is not my preference, but we cannot unilaterally allow one of the two major parties to rig the game, and California is one of the states that has the capacity to offset a large state like Texas,' he added. Obama was speaking at an event for the National Democratic Redistricting Committee and its affiliates that raised $2 million. Former Attorney General Eric Holder and Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) also attended.
