On Thursday, the Indiana Fever released an update about Caitlin Clark's injury. Clark has been on the sidelines for the Fever for the past three games due to a quad injury she sustained on May 24 against the New York Liberty. On Saturday, Indiana's scheduled to face the Chicago Sky.

Clark had a great start to her second season in the WNBA. The reigning Rookie of the Year played the first four games and averaged 19 points, six rebounds and 9.3 assists. In her first game of the year, she had a triple-double against the Sky.
The former Iowa star had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

On Tuesday, June 10, Clark is expected to return to action against the Dream. ESPN's Alexa Philippou reported on Thursday that the Fever star will be re-evaluated over the weekend before their game against Atlanta.
"Caitlin Clark says she'll be reevaluated this weekend and is making progress as she looks to return from her quad strain," Philippou reported. Said playing Tuesday vs. Atlanta is a possibility but they're going to go based on how she feels."
The two teams have faced each other twice, with a split record of 1-1. The last time they played against each other, the Fever won the contest with a final score of 81-76.

The Dream have been on a four-game win streak as of late. Their star guard, Allisha Gray, has been the force behind it. Gray is averaging 21.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists.
In the second week of the new season, the two-time All-Star was awarded the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

Luke Mistone's leadoff home run in the eighth inning powered Murray State to a 5-4 win over Duke in the decisive Game 3 of their Super Regional series at Durham, North Carolina. The win clinched the final spot in the eight-team Men's College World Series for the Racers. Duke cut its deficit to 5-4 in the eighth on a two-out home run by Macon Winslow. Murray State reliever Graham Kelham then put the tying run on base by walking Noah Murray on five pitches. However, he struck out Kyle Johnson to maintain the lead. In the bottom of the ninth, Kelham flirted with danger by hitting leadoff hitter Clark with a pitch.
