See it: New York Giants' Tyrone Tracy training with Eagles' Saquon Barkley
New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. is entering his second year in the NFL, and he's already figuring out that if he wants to be the best, then he needs to learn from the best.
With that approach in mind, he's training with Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.
Barkley shared on his Instagram story that the two were working out together, and the comments from Giants fans range from appreciation to disgust.
Losing Barkley to the Eagles last year felt like a massive stab in the back to Giants fans, although when you know the whole story, it's hard to blame him for going somewhere they not only agreed to pay him what he's worth, but they also won a Super Bowl. The Giants are nowhere near that right now.
Barkley's departure may have put a bad taste in the mouths of Giants' fans, but that doesn't take away from the talent he has or what his capable of doing on the field. The fact that Tracy, who surprised everyone last year by overtaking Devin Singletary for the starting role, wants to work out with Barkley simply means that Tracy wants to learn from the best. And who wouldn't?
Giants fans don't have to like who Tracy chose to work out with, but they should appreciate that he wants to improve his game. Barkley can teach him what it takes to be a great running back in the NFL, and while their styles of play differ from each other, their roles on their respective teams are the same.
With a new quarterback room and other areas of the field coming together between free agency and the draft, Tracy knows he needs to make an impact in year two and not suffer the 'sophomore slump' that many players endure. So, he's doing everything he can to make sure he can perform at his peak, and this offseason, that meant training with the best running back in the league.

Jaxson Dart Links With NY Giants Legend After Successful Spring
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. The Ole Miss-New York Giants connection was strong this past weekend in New York City, as Eli Manning and Jaxson Dart linked up at 'Fanatics Fest.' Dart got an opportunity to rub shoulders with Rebels legends as he takes some time off before his first NFL training camp. Last week, Dart wrapped up his first set of spring sessions with the Giants. Although there hasn't been a ton of pressure on the first-round pick just yet, considering the Giants have other veterans at the top of the depth chart, Dart knows it's only a matter of time before he has to step in and impress in front of a tough New York market, with high expectations. Eli Manning is there to help if Dart needs it. While Manning wants to be available to Dart, he isn't making it his responsibility to become a full-time mentor for the former Ole Miss QB. "I've told him, 'Hey, I'm here to help in any way. I'm a phone call away, a text away, but I'm not getting in the way," Manning told CBS Sports. As far as how he feels about his former franchise's decision to invest a high-end pick in Dart—Manning seems to approve. Photo by"I've been just impressed with Jaxson, because I've seen him get better every single year," he added. "That's what you want your players to do, to make improvements, even though you're playing well, not being content and wanting to make those improvements every day. So I've kind of seen that. It sounds like he's doing that with the Giants." Dart will enter Giants training camp as the third-string quarterback. Right now, the Giants anticipate starting the seasoned veteran, Russell Wilson, who has been in the league since 2012. Behind Wilson is the former first-overall pick, Jameis Winston, who has 105 games under his belt, including seven starts just last season. Manning and Dart's journey with the Giants will get off to a different start. While Manning wasn't expected to start in New York right away, he ended up making his NFL debut in Week 1 for a small preview of what was to come later on in the year. By November, Manning was starting for the Giants. He appeared in nine games with seven starts during his rookie effort, before becoming a full-time starter until 2019.

Parsons responds to Durant's belief the Cowboy could join Commanders with some Quinn love
The Dallas Cowboys have one of the best pass rushers, and defensive players in the NFL in Micah Parsons. The All-Pro disrupter is up for a massive contract extension that still hasn't arrived. While the deal is expected sometime this summer, if one isn't reached, there could be some bad blood brewing between the Cowboys and the Parsons. The question is, would the level of animosity reach a point where Parsons considers not re-signing with the organization that drafted him? Or is it possible the Cowboys would move on from Parsons and trade him to another team? Although both scenarios seem extremely unlikely as Jerry Jones has a habit of making his best players sweat before making them very rich men, Parsons did say there was one team, specifically a coach, he would consider playing for if he weren't in Dallas. Well-known Washington Commanders fan and NBA star Kevin Durant, who was recently traded, predicted that Parsons would play with his favorite team and believes it will happen fairly soon. The comments came at WWE's Fanatics Fest in New York, during which the Durant trade became public knowldge. "I think he will be a Commander at some point in his career," Durant responded when asked if he wanted to recruit Parsons over to his hometown team. "I would say two years from now" "I only rock with Dan Quinn.. Anybody else," Parsons started before being interrupted by Durant. "That's all he needs to rock with!" Shocking? Yes, in print form, but when watching the video it's clearly spliced. Parsons' turn of the phrase "I only" leans more towards saying he doesn't have love for the Washington organization, "only" Quinn. There's good reason for elite edge rusher to like the idea of being back with Quinn, Parsons was a three-time All-Pro with double-digit sacks in each of his three seasons under Quinn's guidance. As one of the league's great defensive minds, Quinn helped turn Parsons into one of the NFL's best pass rushers. However, there is virtually no chance of this happening, and while Parsons' affection for Quinn has been well noted, the Cowboys aren't trading their best defensive player, who is entering in his prime. Furthermore, they aren't trading him to the Commanders, a team with whom the Cowboys have a fierce rivalry. The Cowboys also aren't going to let Parsons leave in free agency if a deal isn't reached. The team can use the franchise tag on him for a few years in hopes of securing him with a long-term deal. That means Parsons can't just sign with the Commanders if things don't go right in trying to get an extension worked out with the Cowboys. Even Durant's words indicated that it would be a move a couple years down the line. Parsons is likely to get his mega extension to become the highest paid non-QB in the league soon, which will keep him the with the Cowboys for a long time. It's probably fun for Durant to dream about, and while Parsons does love Quinn, none of this is serious for 2025. There's no telling where Parsons ends up later in his career, but he won't be playing for Quinn and the Commanders anytime soon. Durant can slip into his pj's because he's dreaming.
