Miranda Kerr reveals the one daily beauty routine she swears by to make her skin look youthful

Daily Mail02-05-2025

She is Australia's most successful supermodels, and despite recently celebrating her 42nd birthday Miranda Kerr has barely aged a day since she walked the Victoria's Secret runway.
The Kora Organics founder often credits her own skincare line as the secret to her perpetually youthful glow, but in a new chat with ELLE magazine divulged her favourite daily beauty ritual.
'A beauty routine I swear by is dry body brushing,' Miranda said in a video shared on Thursday.
'I just love the way it boosts circulation. It is something that I do every morning before I get in the shower and I just feel really good.'
Dry body brushing is a technique where a dry, bristle brush is used to exfoliate and massage the skin to help boost circulation and stimulate the lymphatic system.
It's a form of self-care often associated with Ayurveda - a traditional Indian system of medicine.
The Kora Organics founder often credits her own skincare line as the secret to her perpetually youthful glow, but in a new chat with ELLE magazine divulged her favourite daily beauty ritual
'Dry brushing is sometimes associated with improving skin texture, reducing the appearance of cellulite, and even supporting detoxification, although scientific evidence for some of these claims is limited', Healthline says on its website.
Using a brush with coarse, natural fibre bristles in a circular motion is believed to help improve blood flow and improve the skin's ability to eliminate toxins through the pores by exfoliating the dead skin cells.
This makes it easier for the body to sweat, which in turn reduces the amount of toxins flowing through the lymphatic system.
Fans of the beauty ritual believe the process may also support collagen production and reduce the appearance of cellulite.
There is little scientific evidence to support these claims, but dry brushing is unlikely to cause harm to most people.
To dry body brush, Miranda uses long sweeping motions in the direction of her heart, working upwards from her feet.
She uses circular motions on sensitive areas like the tummy and armpits and when she is finished, ends with a shower and moisturises her whole body.
'I feel it's because I use powerful and effective organic skincare,' Miranda continued in her video.
'Certified organic ingredients contain up to 60 per cent more antioxidants and no nasty chemicals.'

On a more personal note, the model opened up about the reason she became so passionate about skincare in the first place.
She said she created her Kora Organics line after her mother Theresa Kerr suffered a scary health issue.
'My mum was diagnosed with tumours in her spleen, so as family, we had to research what goes in and on our bodies,' Miranda said.
'And what we learned is that what you put on your skin soaks in.'

Dustin Johnson given steamy going-away gift by Paulina Gretzky ahead of US Open

Dustin Johnson and his wife, Paulina Gretzky, are used to turning heads and ahead of his US Open bid at Oakmont this week, they've done so again Dustin Johnson, the 2016 US Open champion, received a rather saucy send-off from his partner, Paulina Gretzky, as he prepared for year's tournament. The golfing star, who won the 2016 tournament, was given a bit of extra motivation by Gretzky ahead of his attempt to add another prestigious title to his collection. The 40-year-ol d LIV golf star is returning this week to the course at Oakmont which he has described as the "hardest" he's ever played. But he's once more among the favourites to be in contention for top honours. ‌ Before his departure for the next Major, Gretzky shared a series of photos featuring herself and Johnson in various poses. DJ is seen sporting a white blazer and trousers combo sans shirt, while Gretzky dons a revealing outfit. ‌ The post is simply captioned "nobody else." Fans on social media had their share of jokes on the decision to post the carousel, however. One fan wrote: "Clearly DJ is zoned in on the U.S. Open this week. Grinding like never before," with another adding: "DJ about to post a +15 and be home by Friday evening." Other fans noted how the couple looked, with some criticising - in jest - Johnson's decision not to wear an undershirt with his white blazer. By and large, fans were excited to either see Johnson play at Oakmont or were happy for the couple for their Instagram post. Johnson's recent major performances have been underwhelming, with only one top-10 finish since 2023 and two missed cuts this year, including a disappointing start to the Masters. Despite this, Johnson expressed confidence that his game is nearing its best form at a crucial moment. "I feel like my game's been really close," he said. "I haven't really got a lot out of it." He added: "It was definitely nice to have a nice finish last week," Johnson said. "I played good every day. I didn't - you know, still kind of giving away some shots. I need to clean that up a little bit. But played really solid every day, hit it nice, gave myself a lot of opportunities. ‌ "Just still kind of gave some shots away each round that you can't afford to do at a golf course like this." The LIV star also shared that Oakmont was the most difficult course he's played. "Good memories here," he continued. "Obviously it was a long time ago. I have confidence in this golf course because I know I played well, but obviously this week puts a lot of pressure on the driver. I feel like I'm driving the ball really good right now. "Even from there, though, it doesn't get much easier. You definitely have to hit it in the fairway if you want a chance to win around here. ... It's hard to compare. I've played some hard courses, but it all depends on the conditions. "This one's hard no matter what - soft, firm, windy, no wind."

Frankie Bridge's £39 River Island skirt can be styled 'so many ways'

Frankie Bridge is one of the UK's most stylish women, and is always serving up major fashion inspiration - and this outfit she recently wore is from River Island TV personality and fashion favourite Frankie Bridge has once again proven why she's a go-to for warm-weather style inspiration. In a recent Instagram post, she debuted a look that she hailed as 'perfect' for a city break - and best of all, every piece is from high street favourite River Island. Giving us all the Italian Riviera vibes, Frankie stepped out in River Island's White A-Line Poplin Midi Skirt, which costs £39. White cotton skirts dominated Instagram in summer 2024, and are very much back for 2025, making it a smart investment for anyone looking to build a capsule warm-weather wardrobe. With its elasticated hem and classic midi length, the skirt is as comfortable as it is elegant, made from 100% cotton making it ideal for beating the heat. As we've learned from influencers over the last 12 months, it really is a versatile summer staple, with Frankie noting: 'The skirt can be restyled SO many ways over summer.' Elsewhere, New Look has this White Pleated Midi Skirt for £29.99, while Mango's flared cotton skirt is £45.99, available in white, black or red. At Boden, the Double Cloth Smocked Skirt comes in at £66, but for something more budget friendly, M&S's Pure Cotton Shirred Midi A-Line Skirt is under £30. But the fact that so many high street retailers are stocking them cements them as a go-to trend for the season. The 36-year-old paired the skirt with a Black Sleeveless Textured Trim Bandeau Top for £26. The beaded notch detail and side split hem add an elevated twist to the minimalist bandeau cut, which is an insanely sought-after silhouette this year. Frankie shared her thoughts on the top, saying: 'Love the top and the detailing.' She added: 'If you're on a city break then this is the perfect outfit. Stay cool in the heat but still look put together.' Accessorising the look, she added a Black Mini Raffia Cross Body Tote Bag featuring a front flap with popper fastening, gold branding detail, and a convenient crossbody strap, as well as a pair of Black Toe Thong Wedge Heeled Sandals (£38), ideal for the petite 5'3' presenter with their 12cm heel. Completing the look with the retailer's £14 Black Cat Eye Slim Chain Sunglasses, Frankie commented: 'I feel very chic in this, it's a nice little dinner outfit.' And we couldn't agree more, with both capsule wardrobe staples prime for styling with basically anything you already own. Frankie isn't the only ex-Saturdays singer that's a fan of River Island, though. Rochelle Humes wore the brand's Blue Seam Detail Balloon Leg Jeans, priced at £49 for an episode of This Morning last month. She told her fans: "There's a new rule, we didn't used to wear jeans but we can wear jeans now. This is amazing news to me. So these are River Island, they're like a nice barrel cut." But if it's Frankie's summery skirt you're keen to snap up for your latest getaway, shoppers can take a look here.

Cat Deeley shows off legs in red mini dress perfect for occasions

Cat looked fabulous in the red halterneck mini dress and we've not doubt that shoppers will be racing to snap it up Tomato girl may have been the go-to aesthetic last summer, but Cat Deeley appears to be resurrecting the 2024 trend with her This Morning wardrobe. The presenter has sported the warm, vibrant hue on not one, but three occasions since her half-term return to the show, with her latest being a chic ensemble from one of Instagram's favourite 'cool girl' brands. The 48-year-old turned heads yesterday as she showed off her pins in a striking red halterneck mini dress from COS, a sister brand to high street favourite H&M. Priced at £85, the Fluid Halterneck Mini Dress is expected to be a popular choice for summer events, especially after being spotted on the stylish mum-of-two. The a-line dress features a chic draped neckline with elongated ties at the back - not to mention side seam pockets for all your essentials. It boasts a relaxed fit that disguises the tummy area, and is made from a TENCEL Lyocell blend, a fabric known for its softness and breathability, making it a warm weather wardrobe winner. The dress is as comfortable as it is chic, so we won't be surprised if shoppers want to snap it up in every colour, including light green and brown. However, its size range is quite narrow, available only in sizes 4-16. By comparison, M&S's red mini shift dress comes in sizes 6-24 and is available in three lengths, setting customers back £29.50. But we can see why fashion fans may covet the COS number, especially seeing we've struggled to find anything like it online. While Cat paired hers with nude strappy heels, COS recommends kitten heels and sculptural jewellery for an elevated look. One might struggle to dress this one down for more casual events, though - flats and a denim jacket may be as relaxed as it gets. This shade of red is one that Cat has found herself gravitating towards a lot lately. Earlier this month, she sported Next's Black Hardware Detail Halter Top, priced at £39, paired with ME + EM's Ultra High Waist Wide-Leg Trouser in the orangey-red trousers. She's since also worn these Flowing trousers with darts for £99.95 from Massimo Dutti, letting them do all of the outfit's heavy lifting by styling them with a plain white tee. And a mini dress is a staple of Cat's wardrobe, too. Back in May, the presenter looked summer-ready in a Yellow Bow Embellished Mini Dress. While it may look designer, slotting in effortlessly with Cat's high end personal style, the dress is actually from high-street favourite River Island, and comes in at £75. But it's her little red number that feels like an early contender for summer's must-have outfit, so for anyone wanting to snap it up before it sells out, shoppers can find it on the COS website here.
