'Now You See Me' is back after almost a decade. Here's what to know about the third film of the heist franchise.

The "Now You See Me" franchise is back nine years after the second film was released.
"Now You See Me, Now You Don't" continues the story of a secret organization of magicians, called the Four Horsemen, who pull off seemingly impossible heists and take down criminals.
The two previous films did reasonably well for a studio movie at the box office, each making over $300 million worldwide. The first film, released in 2013, performed better than its 2016 sequel.
Jon Feltheimer, the CEO of Lionsgate, which produces and distributes the "Now You See Me" franchise, told analysts on a conference call about quarterly earning in 2015 that a third film was in the works, Variety reported.
The project did not pick up steam until last year, following a trend of major studios relying more on remakes or sequels to attract audiences to theaters.
"Now You See Me, Now You Don't" will be released in theaters on November 14, a week before the highly anticipated " Wicked" sequel, which could impact the heist film's box office performance.
Isla Fisher returns to the 'Now You See Me' franchise, alongside new actors
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco starred in the first film as four talented magicians — J. Daniel Atlas, Merritt McKinney, Henley Reeves, and Jack Wilder — who join a mysterious organization called the Eye and form the Four Horsemen.
Fisher wasn't in "Now You See Me 2" — she was pregnant when it was filmed — but she is back for the third film, alongside Harrelson, Eisenberg, Franco, and Morgan Freeman, who plays Thaddeus Bradley, the leader of the Eye.
Lizzy Caplan, who played Lulu in "Now You See Me 2" and replaced Fisher's character Henley as the fourth Horseman, has not been cast in the third film.
Mark Ruffalo, who played the Four Horsemen's mastermind, Dylan Rhodes, is also notably absent from the third movie's cast.
Rosamund Pike has joined the franchise to play Veronika Vanderberg, the head of a global criminal network. Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt play a new group of magicians who Eisenberg's character recruits to the Eye.
The trailer for 'Now You See Me, Now You Don't' hints that the old guard and the new magicians will work together
A trailer, released on Tuesday, gives the first hints at the plot of the third film.
Daniel recruits three magicians to take down Veronika's criminal empire. He tells the magicians he doesn't want to work with the other Horsemen because they are "dead" to him, but Henley, Jack, and Meritt show up to help anyway.
Thaddeus appears to be leading the Eye despite handing over the reins of the organization to Dylan in the final scene of "Now You See Me 2."
Variety reported that Adam Fogelson, Lionsgate's motion picture group chair, said at CinemaCon in April that a fourth "Now You See Me" movie is in development. The third film may end with a tease for the next installment in the franchise.
Ruben Fleischer directed the third film and will direct the fourth, too.

Is the ‘Ballerina' John Wick Movie Streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime?

If you can't get enough of the John Wick franchise, I have good news for you: a new John Wick spin-off movie, Ballerina, opens in theaters this weekend. And even though he's not the star, Keanu Reeves makes an appearance in the Ballerina movie as Mr. Wick himself. Ballerina—aka From the World of John Wick: Ballerina—is a spin-off film that takes place between the events of the John Wick: Chapter 3 and John Wick: Chapter 4. Ana de Armas stars as Eve Macarro, a ballerina training to become an assassin. That's quite the career pivot! Her character also appeared in the third movie, but was portrayed by Unity Phelan, whom de Armas replaced for the spin-off. Also starring Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus, with Anjelica Huston, Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, and Reeves all reprising their roles, Ballerina is a can't-miss film for John Wick fans. Read on to find out where to watch the Ballerina movie, and when we expect to be able to watch the Ballerina John Wick movie on streaming. For now, Ballerina will only available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in theaters in the U.S. on Friday, June 6. You can find a showing near you via Fandango. Ballerina is not yet available to watch online or on streaming. Ballerina is not streaming on Netflix right now. That said, Ballerina is a Lionsgate release, and another recent Lionsgate release, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, began streaming on Netflix after two-and-a-half-months in theaters. So, maybe you'll see Ballerina on Netflix in about two and a half months, around late August 2025. However, don't count on it, because plenty of Lionsgate movies have not streamed on Netflix. You will be able to purchase Ballerina on Amazon Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital. You also might be able to stream Ballerina on Prime for free eventually, thanks to the new deal between Lionsgate and Amazon that will send the 2026 Lionsgate movies to Amazon Prime for the 'Pay 1' window, after the films play in theaters. Even though it's still 2025, according to Variety, Prime Video also got the streaming rights to a 'package' of 2025 films, too. It's not clear which films those are, and if it includes Ballerina. But it's possible that Amazon subscribers will be able to streaming Ballerina for free on Prime before the end of the year. Ballerina is not yet streaming on Starz. You might see Ballerina on Starz this year, because it is a Lionsgate film, and Lionsgate extended its output deal with Starz, despite the fact the studios are still planning to separate in 2026. Supposedly, under the new terms of the deal, Starz will have exclusive rights to Lionsgate films post-theaters, and that the window will now come sooner after the movie's theatrical run. But in practice, the recent Lionsgate films don't seem to be streaming on Starz at an accelerated rate. The 2025 Lionsgate film Den of Thieves 2: Pantera began streaming on Netflix about two-and-a-half months after opening in theaters, and yet the movie is still not streaming on Starz. So, that's confusing! Recently, the 2025 Lionsgate movie, Flight Risk, began streaming on Starz about four-and-a-half a half months after the movie opened in the theaters. If Ballerina follows the same release pattern, you might see the movie on digital in about two-and-a-half weeks, around late June 2025, and on Starz in about four and a half months, which would be around late October 2025. But clearly, not all Lionsgate movies are following that strategy in 2025, and some may be going to Prime. Right now, we don't have a clear look at Lionsgate's 2025 release strategy. If you want to see Ballerina right away, you should go watch it in a movie theater.

WICKED: FOR GOOD Drops Wickedly Good First Trailer

Few shows have ever been or will likely ever be as highly anticipated as Wicked: For Good. As the second half of Jon M. Chu's adaptation of the Broadway stage show, itself a loose adaptation of Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel, it hits a sweet spot of fandoms. With powerhouse stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande portraying protagonist Elphaba Thropp and initial rival and later friend Glinda Upland, respectively, the film's musical pedigree is anchored. Indisputably, Chu's vision of Oz is a worthy heir to 1939's The Wizard of Oz, a groundbreaking piece of cinema when it first premiered. RELATED: GGA Crush of the Week: Elphaba Thropp Wicked: For Good arrives in theaters on November 21. Wicked: Part 1 ended with Elphaba breaking away from the pack, rejecting the Wizard's (Jeff Goldblum) offer to help subjugate Oz under his rule with her powers. Always able to pivot, the Wizard turns her into a villain he can pit the people against. This buoys his popularity and distracts from the real problems in Oz. Image Credit: Universal Pictures Wicked: For Good At the heart of the story is Elphaba and Glinda's friendship, painted on the lore established in The Wizard of Oz . Wicked: For Good picks up with Oz's residents taking up arms and a contagious mob mentality against Elphaba, now branded by the Wizard as 'The Wicked Witch of the West.' Glinda has retained a place of societal status. Secretly, she remains friends with Elphaba. Meanwhile, the magnificent Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) continues to spin her spells on the Wizard's behalf. Image Credit: Universal Pictures RELATED: It's Gonna Be Popular: First Wicked Trailer Debuts Glinda's popularity and social savviness make her the obvious choice as the Wizard poster girl for 'Good.' This includes marrying Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey), now the head of the Wizard's army, and appearing to be as magical as Elphaba thanks to the Wizard's gadgetry. Image Credit: Universal Pictures Elphaba lives a solitary life, hiding from the Wizard while honing her powers with the help of the Grimmerie, the tome of magical knowledge. Unseen in the trailer are her sister Nessarose (Marissa Bode) and the Munchkin Boq (Ethan Slater). As tragic as their story is, one wonders if it'll factor into Chu's narrative. There are, however, many Animals in what can only be assumed to be a revolution of sorts. World Building Brilliantly, Wicked: Part 1 and Wicked: For Good not only build the backstory for the familiar characters and relationships of Oz, they literally lay the foundation for major infrastructure developments. The Wizard understands the benefits of keeping the populace busy, after all. In the trailer, we see Elphaba lay a hand on the gold-painted bricks that eventually form that infamous road to the Emerald City. Image Credit: Universal Pictures Perhaps the most tantalizing scenes in the trailer are those of Dorothy Gale (Alisha Weir). Two iconic moments are reimagined for Wicked fans. There's a far-away shot of Dorothy setting out on her journey with Toto and some enthusiastic Munchkins (presumably after parking her house on Nessarose). The one that sent chills down my spine is the four of them standing in front of the Wizard's mechanical talking head. Remembering the anxiety the original characters felt in The Wizard of Oz , it's pretty horrifying to realize the man behind the puppetry is much scarier. Image Credit: Universal Pictures RELATED: Wicked 's Newest Trailer Defies Gravity There's also an enigmatic shot of the silver slippers as someone walks across a wet floor wearing them. Is it Dorothy (as the ankle socks seem to indicate), or could it be that moment for Nessarose? Get Ready to Thank Goodness The nearly three-minute-long trailer packs in a lot of plot points. One slightly spoilery one shows Fiyero revealing his true allegiance. What isn't rushed is the lavish production value. The sweeping shots of the lavish setting are just as breathtaking as Wicked: Part 1. And, of course, soundtracking it with clips of Erivo's 'No Good Deed' and Grande's 'For Good' only stokes the flames of fan fervor. Can Wicked: For Good defy gravity even more than Wicked: Part 1 did? Besides dropping this trailer, the publicity team also opened the soundtrack's pre-save option online. Wicked: For Good hits theaters November 21.
