Man who VOMITED after being told he had to let partner sleep with another man issues defiant statement after shocking footage airs on Channel 4

Daily Mail17-06-2025
The man who vomited after being told he had to let partner sleep with another man has issued a defiant statement as the shocking footage aired on the latest episode of Open House: The Great Sex Experiment.
Couple Tom and Lauren, from Devon, have appeared on the latest series of the racy Channel 4 show - which sees couples try and open up their relationship.
During last Friday's episode (13 June), Tom was sick after chatting to non monogamy expert Effy Blue, who told the pair that they had to have sexual experiences with other people without each other.
Earlier this month the pair took to Instagram to open up about their experience on the show with a video of them dancing along to Stormzy 's tune Own It.
Tom and Lauren captioned the post: 'Thank you everyone for all your support so far, our next episode is out next Friday 10pm, remember please be kind, we went on there to be open & honest and are both very happy together, remember they cut so much out for the drama xxx #openhouse #couple #reel #love #happy #realitytv.'
Many rushed to the comments section to share the love.
It comes after MailOnline revealed an exclusive sneak peek of Tom vomiting in a bathroom after being told he has to let partner sleep with another man in a jaw-dropping first look last week
'Definitely my favorite couple so far! So brave and yeah, good for you!'
'You was both brilliant tonight well done.'
'I watched the second episode of yours last night and I haven't ever sat and clapped for a stranger so much in my life! Hands down my favourite couple yet and the best ending for you guys!'
On Monday they shared a happy selfie and told fans: 'Overwhelmed with all the messages & support guys, thank you everyone, we are so glad that Tom's story resonated with so many of you, still smiling from that last episode on.'
It comes after MailOnline revealed an exclusive sneak peek of Tom vomiting in a bathroom after being told he has to let partner sleep with another man in a jaw-dropping first look.
One couple who appear on the instalment, Tom and Lauren, are keen to spice things up a bit in the bedroom.
After a chat with non monogamy expert Effy Blue, the expert said that she wanted the dynamics to 'change a bit' and the pair should both have experiences without each other.
Effy tells viewers: 'Today is about challenging Tom to be independent.
'I'm curious to see how that will affect the dynamics they have between them.
'Lauren needs to be a partner to Tom, not a caretaker.'
As they return to their room, Lauren tells Tom: 'Don't be nervous. You absolutely got this.'
Lauren tells the camera: 'It was my idea. It was my idea from the start.
'Yes it's throwing me and Tom in the deep end...
'But to be able to have him to have the confidence that we can go off, have our fun, come back to each other at the end of the night and it's absolutely insane.'
The voiceover says: 'But the thought of flying solo entirely naked isn't sitting well with Tom.'
Tom can then be heard being sick in the toilet and Lauren runs to him with some water.
'This is going to be horrible,' Tom confesses.
Lauren replies: 'I just want to cuddle you.'
Tom says: 'I feel absolutely petrified and sick.'
While hugging him from behind, Lauren tells him: 'All that anyone can ask is that you just try, okay?'
It comes after viewers saw a couple completely U-turn on monogamy after they embark on a shocking fivesome.
A week prior, Johnny, 43, and Sarah, 37, clashed about 'swapping partners' just moments before they both began smooching another woman in the jacuzzi
But in the next episode they got up close and personal with three other residents.
As viewers will remember, Johnny had to take a breather and confessed he was feeling 'anxious' after getting to know eight other people.
Sarah confessed: 'If we don't do it now, I don't think we are ever going to.
'He's naturally going to be a bit nervous but we need to crack on and get it done.'
But after having their first ever fivesome, Sarah shouted: 'We want more!'
Johnny adds: 'This is just the first step. This is the first step.
'And what we needed to do because this is what we want to do. We want to enjoy each other.
'We want to share it. That's just an amazing experience!'

I moved to Spain 4 years ago & will never be bored of it – I don't work & pick my kids up from school & go to the pool

A MUM has shared how her family ditched the UK to live in Spain four years ago and will 'never be bored' of her new life. Jodie Marlow, who shares clips of her new sunny lifestyle online, shared how she doesn't miss the rainy weather at all, and spends her days enjoying the sun. 5 5 Jodie, who is a stay-at-home mum, said her two boys finish school at 1.30pm in summer and they spend afternoons playing in the pool. In a clip on her @jodiemar1ow account, which has over 1,790 likes, she said: 'Four years in & don't think I'll ever get bored of this.' She added that the weather is perfect for her, with temperatures in the top 20s or 30s every day. Jodie said: 'It's not too hot, not too cold. Like, I can wear my nice summer dresses, which I love.' When her kids are at school, she spends her time picking up fruit and veg at the local market, or going for a pamper, including laser hair surgery. She then does housework before picking up the boys and having some lunch with them. Meanwhile, weekends are spent exploring gorgeous nearby beaches and dining out in local restaurants. MOVING TO SPAIN Finally, Jodie advised people on how they can also make the move to Spain. She shared: 'If you hold a UK British passport, you can't just move to Spain like you could pre-Brexit, you do need a visa. 'The working visa you could look into getting dependent on if you've got a specialised job. I quit my job and did a complete 180 moving to Spain - beer is just $3 a pint and my life is so much better 'The self-employed visa, basically they said to us it's just impossible to get, so we didn't even try with that. 'But the digital nomad visa allows anyone that is working online, as long as you are earning a set amount of money that provides for if there's four of you for the family, you can pay for all four of you, and they set out exactly how much that would be.' Since Brexit, UK citizens, and non-EU citizens require a visa to stay longer than 90 days. 5 SOCIAL REACTION Many people were quick to chime in and comment on her new life in Spain, and praise her for making the move. One said: 'It's beautiful there, my sister moved there 26 yrs ago, no regrets.' A second added: 'I don't think you could ever get bored of that lifestyle.' Meanwhile, and a third joked: 'You sure you wouldn't rather be stuck indoors looking out at the rain?' Jodie replied: 'deffo don't miss that side of the uk.' 5 How easy is it to move abroad? Brexit means British citizens now have to apply for visas to move to countries within the EU. While some countries residency restrictions are easier than others, here's what you need to do at home before moving: Notify HMRC about your upcoming move. Let your local authority know and provide a forwarding address. Contact your mortgage and utility providers and bank before leaving. If you have paid enough UK national insurance contributions, you can qualify for a state pension abroad - contact the International Pension Centre. You can sign up to the Royal Mail's redirection service. If you have outstanding student loans, contact the Student Loans Centre. If you have children, give due notice to childcares and schools.

Zoe Ball reveals comedy legend broke nose at her wedding to Fatboy Slim as Radio 2 star lifts lid on raucous big day

ZOE BALL has lifted the lid on just how raucous her 1999 wedding to Fatboy Slim got. Given that, back then, the pair were notorious party animals, things were sure to go a little awry when they tied the knot in front of friends and family at Babington House in Somerset. 7 But the Radio 2 DJ revealed comedian and actor Steve Coogan broke his nose after a few too many drinks. And another guest, a radio producer named Will, fell in a river. Zoe and Fatboy Slim – real name Norman Cook – split in 2016. Speaking to Zoe on their podcast Dig It, Jo Whiley recalled: 'He fell in the stream at our house once when we had a party. Oh no, was it your wedding?' Zoe corrected her: 'No, it was my wedding. It was our wedding.' Jo continued: 'We had to fish him out of the lake.' And recalling another water-based catastrophe from the bash, Zoe said: 'The venue where we got married, there was a swimming pool that Steve Coogan jumped in and broke his nose. 'Never swim when you have been drinking, people. That is the lesson here. "And then Will somehow had managed to walk into the lake and appeared in the bar, just covered in pond weed.' Zoe has now been sober for the best part of a decade, while Steve, said in 2022 that he had stopped drinking earlier that year. Waking up after such antics would have me considering sobriety, too. 7 Zoe Ball 'frozen and in tears' after yobs smashed car window and stole bag ahead of One Show appearance IT'S ALL GO FOR MAGOT 7 IT was back to work as normal for Margot Robbie as she stepped out for her first red carpet since giving birth. The Barbie star had a baby boy in October and has since been juggling motherhood with shooting the upcoming Wuthering Heights remake. But on Wednesday she posed for snaps with Colin Farrell as they kicked off promotion for their romantic fantasy film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. The movie, which also stars Jodie Turner-Smith and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, was shot last year during the early stages of her pregnancy. It's due to hit screens here on September 19, so I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of cinema's most beautiful actress over the next few weeks. ROBBIE'S ANGELS DELIGHT 7 IT'S not just Coldplay going green, Robbie Williams is too. He wore this striking neon suit for a 30-minute set in the BBC Radio 2 Piano Room on Vernon Kay 's show yesterday. Robbie, above with Vernon, performed classic tracks as well as tunes from upcoming album Britpop. And he admitted he was 'lucky' to have his solo success after leaving Take That. He said: 'There was a plan but it was, 'Write songs and be massive'. But it was a heady time, the Nineties. "All sorts of pills and powders and potions can give you delusions of grandeur. I just got incredibly lucky. If it wasn't for Angels, none of this would be happening.' ROCK 'N' DOLL NIGHT OUT FOR ALFIE ALFIE ALLEN has become firm friends with his Baby Doll co-star Tallulah Evans. The pair worked on the Paramount+ plus series together, which sees Alfie's character, teacher Rick Hansen abduct Lily (played by Tallulah) in the adaptation of Hollie Overton's novel. The pair were spotted during a night out in London's Soho and they looked like they were having a hoot. It's best they enjoy the down time now as I've got no doubt when their promo schedules drop for Baby Doll, which comes out next year, they'll be rushed off their feet. FAB FOUR STILL THE REEL DEAL 7 THIRTY years after The Beatles reinvented music docs with their brilliant eight-part anthology series, the Fab Four are bringing it back. The original series has been remastered and restored for a new nine-part series on Disney+. The show, which begins on November 26, traces the band's story from their inception – with Sir Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr and , George Harrison bringing to life the timeless stories. The brand new ninth episode includes never- before-seen footage of the band from 1994 to 1995, with them working on The Anthology and sharing memories of their lives in The Beatles. Alongside the documentary, The Beatles are bringing out three double albums of rare material. The tracks, including 13 previously unreleased demos, appear on 12 LP vinyl, digital collections and 8 CD formats, out on November 21. For a triple whammy, The Beatles will also release an Anthology Book – celebrating the 25th anniversary. The book is out on October 14 and will feature interviews with the band. LITTLE MIX GIRLS DO BATTLE 7 WHEN Little Mix first went on hiatus, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall insisted they would never drop solo songs at the same time. But three years down the line, Perrie and Leigh-Anne are now going head to head in a chart battle. Leigh-Anne dropped her track Burning Up yesterday, while Perrie has today put out single If He Wanted To He Would. Other new releases today include Ice Cream from former X Factor star Diana Vickers, while Rudimental's fifth album Rudim3ntal is up against Ava Max's Don't Click Play. Meanwhile, I recommend Alexander Wolfe's new single Talk, calling for men to talk about their struggles. FESTIVALGOERS are getting older, according a survey by Ticketmaster. Its State Of Play report reveals 66 per cent are aged over 35, while ten per cent are over 65. And three quarters of parents say festivals beat foreign trips in exposing kids to new cultures, while 43 per cent see them as a direct replacement for the traditional summer holiday. London Awards on September 29.
