Avengers: Doomsday's Cast Rumored to Include Halle Berry's Storm
While Marvel Studios has officially confirmed 27 actors for the Avengers: Doomsday, ongoing rumors suggest that Halle Berry's Storm could be a last-minute addition to the film. The recent reveal of Avengers 5's cast interestingly left out some big names, including Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), among others.
Additionally, the inclusion of legacy X-Men characters, like Sir Ian McKellen's Magneto and Alan Cumming's Nightcrawler, has fans wondering if more mutants would show up in the movie than the roster currently promised by Marvel. If present speculations are to be believed, Halle Berry could be one of the original X-Men cast members to reprise her iconic role of Ororo Munroe in the forthcoming Russo brothers' directorial venture.
According to @MyTimeToShineH, Halle Berry will make an appearance in the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday. The renowned internet scooper took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an update about the cast of the upcoming Avengers sequel, noting, 'Halle Berry's Storm will return in 'AVENGERS DOOMSDAY.''
The Monster's Ball star first donned the mantle of Storm in 2000's X-Men and went on to portray the character in several of the franchise's sequels. Her last big-screen appearance as the powerful weather manipulator came in 2014 when she made a brief cameo in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Halle Berry has also hinted at her possible return as Storm in Avengers: Doomsday in an earlier interview. While speaking with ComicBookMovie.com's Josh Wilding in September 2024 about her role in the horror flick, Never Let Go, the actress shed light on whether she'll be coming back in Avengers 5 or Avengers 6. Although she did not outright confirm her participation in the project, Berry did not disregard the notion either and instead stated, 'You never know. We'll find out!'
With a plethora of MCU mainstays missing out on a nod in the Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal, fans expect Marvel to do another round of announcements in the coming months, which could include Halle Berry's Storm. Nevertheless, Marvel has yet to share an official word on her recruitment.

Red Skull Actor Didn't Know He Was in an AVENGERS Movie Until the Day of Shooting — GeekTyrant
When it comes to keeping secrets, Marvel Studios isn't messing around. Just ask Ross Marquand, the actor who stepped in to play Red Skull in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Apparently, even he didn't know he was in an Avengers movie until he was already on set. Marquand revealed during a panel at Awesome Con 2025: 'I didn't know what movie I was going to work on. They didn't tell me. They quite literally said it was a voice-matching job that may entail voice-matching this character that Hugo [Weaving] played, but they didn't even say that by name.' You'd think Marvel would at least give an actor they cast a little info on the project they'd been cast in. But nope, Marvel played it so close to the vest that even when Marquand arrived, he still wasn't clued in. 'It wasn't until I got to the set that they made me shave and put the [motion capture] dots on. I'm looking around, there's like a 150 people waiting for me. 'I'm like, 'This is not a regular voiceover job. What is going on?' That's when the makeup artist leaned over, and he said, 'Do you know what you're working on? This is the new Avengers movie.' I'm like, 'Oh, God.' I almost passed out.' That's one way to find out you've landed a role in one of the biggest franchises on the planet. Marquand, best known at the time for The Walking Dead, stepped in for Hugo Weaving, who famously said back in 2012, 'I think I've done my dash with that sort of film.' Marvel needed someone to replicate Weaving's voice for Red Skull's unexpected return as the ghostly gatekeeper of the Soul Stone, and Marquand delivered. He first appeared guiding Thanos and Gamora on Vormir, then reappeared in Endgame for a soul-swapping encore with Hawkeye and Black Widow. Marquand's Marvel contributions haven't stopped there. He's been the go-to guy for voice-matching since. He voiced Infinity Ultron in What If…? with a pitch-perfect spin on James Spader's Ultron and more recently brought Professor X to life in X-Men '97, channeling Cedric Smith. As for whether he'll show up again in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars, well... knowing Marvel, he probably won't find out until someone starts gluing dots to his face again. Via ComicBook
