Krishna Shroff reveals father Jackie Shroff's reaction to her participation in Choriyaan Chali Gaon; calls out fake reality show personas
Sharing how her family reacted to her participation in the show, Krishna shared, 'My dad was so excited when I shared that I was doing this show. He was more excited than he has ever been compared to other projects I have done. This is what he loves. He is excited for me to come back and be able to relate to it. My brother, on the other hand, asked me if I was sure I wanted to do this. He knows the type of person I am. If I decide to do something, I give my best at it. My mom is a bit nervous, not about the experience or concept, but she will miss me. We are best friends at the end of the day, and it's 2 and a half months away, so that's going to be a first.'

Krishna Shroff, who was last seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, also explained why she took a year to choose another reality show. She shared, 'It has been a year since I participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Choosing to do these shows has shown me in a whole different light and the many layers I have in my personality. Right now, my audience is niche, because they don't fully know or understand who I am. It was a conscious decision to wait it out. With Khatron Ke Khiladi, it completely fit the brand. With this one, I don't think anything negative can come out of it.'

'A lot of reality formats that are out these days force you to become a character that you are truly not. That takes away from the reality aspect. People come with this pre-planned objective. For me, reality is reality,' Krishna added.
Lastly, sharing what she plans to do next, Krishna Shroff said, 'I enjoy doing this, but I am a business person, Tiger and I have co-founded an MMA Matrix Gym, which is doing quite well. We have signed 20 franchises pan-India now, including the dance academy that my brother has launched. Just spreading the message of fitness and propagating a healthy lifestyle for the youth is what drives me.'

Last Updated: Dhanush reveals he nearly turned down Raanjhanaa due to budget issues, and shares how director Aanand L Rai personally backed him to play Kundan. Dhanush might be a big name in Tamil cinema, but back in 2013, when he was gearing up for his Bollywood debut with Raanjhanaa, things weren't exactly smooth sailing. In fact, he nearly walked away from the film altogether. The actor recently looked back on the film during a special fan screening celebrating its 12th anniversary. While Raanjhanaa became a cult favourite over the years, Dhanush admitted that he was close to saying no – and it all came down to the budget. 'At that time, they didn't have the right kind of budget for hiring me as the lead actor. But this man's (Aanand L Rai) passion was so strong that he just wanted me to play Kundan. He could have offered any actor this part and they would have happily come on board. After all, it's such a great part," Dhanush shared, as quoted in SCREEN. The part he's talking about – Kundan – was a lovestruck Varanasi boy whose obsession and heartbreak eventually pull him into the world of politics. According to him, director Aanand L Rai had to take a big risk to make it happen. 'He went against all odds. I don't know I am supposed to say this and I don't care! He invested his own money as well. He went all out (to cast me). He saw Kundan in me and he stayed true to his vision," Dhanush said. Even for a seasoned performer like Dhanush, the pressure was real. He revealed that stepping into the Hindi film world brought a kind of fear he hadn't experienced before. 'I was not scared during my first film. When I was written off, I was not scared. That's how I am. But for the first time, I was scared. I felt responsible. So, I was praying so hard to God that 'Somehow save this man,'" he said, reflecting on the weight of expectations. In the end, the gamble paid off. Raanjhanaa clicked with audiences and critics alike. 'They made a cult classic. It is not the story of Kundan and Zoya. It is the story of two mad men who believed in this," Dhanush added. The film also starred Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Swara Bhaskar and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and became a defining moment in Aanand L Rai's directorial career. Since Raanjhanaa, Dhanush and Aanand L Rai have teamed up again, including in the 2021 film Atrangi Re, and are working together on Tere Ishq Mein – a film Rai has said is set in 'the same world as Raanjhanaa." Bharti Singh-hosted Laughter Chefs Season 2 concluded on Sunday with a grand finale celebration. While Karan Kundrra and Elvish Yadav were declared the winners, Aly Goni and Reem Shaikh finished as the first runners-up. Meanwhile, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain secured third place. After winning the show, Karan and Elvish took home the trophy, while runners-up Reem and Aly got diamond stars. Karan Kundrra, who was part of the first season of Laughter Chefs, joined Season 2 midway, replacing Abdu Rozik and partnering with Elvish Yadav. While they proved to be strong contenders, the competition was fierce, with a narrow margin separating them from Aly Goni and Reem Shaikh. We were all figuring out what the show was like; it was supposed to be a filler show, and suddenly it became a rage. When season 1 got over, there was a gap, and there were 16 people in this season, other than Bharti and chef Harpal, so there were a lot of issues. But I wanted to be back on the show, because it's therapy.' He added, 'Laughter Chefs 1 was the first time I entered the kitchen in my life. I have never cooked before. I didn't know I had a knack for cooking and would enjoy it so much. By season 2, I realized how to make food tasty. Shooting for the show is way more fun. What translates on screen is just 40-50 minutes, but we shoot for 16 hours, so imagine all the fun we have. I was shooting in Dubai and would never miss a day. I would take a flight at 3:30 am after shooting all day and night, come here, and would not even feel tired, that's how great the contestants were in both seasons. ' Karan Kundrra also shared that he was initially skeptical when they were offered the first season of Laughter Chefs. 'Yes, we were skeptical. We didn't know what we were getting into. There were so many questions and apprehensions about working with 16 other people. I'll be very honest, actors are very insecure people; they don't want to share their screen space, everybody is worried about positioning, but we lucked out. In both seasons, nobody was negative on the show; that's what made it very happy to shoot. One wrong contestant and things could go South, but that never happened.' Lastly, Karan spoke about Season 3 of Laughter Chefs. 'I don't know if season 3 is in talks, but according to me, the show is inevitable. It has good ratings, and this show has reached worldwide.'
