MEGHAN Markle's cringey trailer for the new season of her show has "the exact same recipe" as its "first season flop", a royal commentator has said.
The Duchess of Sussex released the sneak peek for the second season of With Love, Meghan earlier today on social media.

The first series of the show was critically panned upon release, with one reviewer calling it "gormless lifestyle filler", another slamming it as an "exercise in narcissism" and US entertainment magazine Variety branding it a 'Montecito ego trip not worth taking."
Now, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has slammed the duchess for trying to "wash her reputation" with her new show.
The trailer sees Meghan cooking and baking alongside a number of celebrity guests in her swanky Montecito home.
Kinsey told The Sun: "Meghan has a reputation for being ugly and a bully to some of her staff.
"I think she's doing this 'pursuit of joy, happiness, look at me dancing, having fun' as a way to change public perception about her."
However, Kinsey says the show seems "so staged", focusing on how a member of the filming crew can be overhead saying "right on cue" at the start of the trailer.
She added that the show seemed very much the same as the first season - which it was filmed alongside.
Kinsey said: "If you weren't impressed with the first season, don't expect a sudden evolution.
"You're getting more of the same recipe here, and you really see that in the trailer.
"It doesn't look like there's any real shift here - even the music is very much the same."
'Vicious' Meg is trying to one-up Kate with money-grabbing Netflix deal but it WON'T work, expert slams
She added: "The first season was a critical flop but the Sussexes still have a certain morbid curiosity factor around them.
"People can't help but peek, even if they roll their eyes while watching."
The second season of the show is due to air on August 26 on Netflix and will land just weeks after Meghan and Harry announced their renewed deal with the streaming giant.
The new episodes have been advertised as "fun and heartwarming", with a plethora of celebrity guests due to make their appearance.
This includes model Chrissy Teigen, podcast pal Jamie Kern Lima, and Netflix Queer Eye star Tan France.
Meghan can be seen laughing alongside guests at her luxury Montecito home in the trailer, even joking at the end about Prince Harry's lack of love for lobster.
Speaking to Chef Andrés, she says: "You know who doesn't like lobster? My husband."
In response, the chef light-heartedly retorts: "And you married him anyway?"
In one moment during the trailer, in which she is seen cooking and baking with celebrity friends, the Duchess of Sussex also says: "I love the idea of just spending time together... and finding new ways to show people you care."
She adds: "There are easy ways to show up, lovingly."
There were also some notable omissions from today's trailer, with husband Harry, 40, and the couple's two kids - Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4 - nowhere to be seen.

This comes after Harry and Meghan announced yesterday they had signed a new "multi-year, first look deal" with the American streaming giant to produce "film and television projects".
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have previously released a number of shows on the platform, including a 2022 documentary on their lives and lifestyle show With Love, Meghan this year.
They had secured a lucrative five-year contract - thought to be worth more than $100 million (£74 million) - with Netflix after quitting as senior working royals in 2020.
However, this new deal has been signed for "much less", an insider told Page Six.
Meghan said in a statement: 'We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand.
"My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision."
Netflix will only pay for projects they want to screen, rather than pay in a single multi-million pound agreement like the one signed in 2020, The Sun understands.
The Sun can also reveal, however, that the streaming giants will cover Archewell Productions's overheads, including all costs for its offices and staff.
The new deal was also described as a "downgrade" by PR expert Mark Borkowski.
He told the Mail: "I think Netflix has done a very neat job of pivoting away from two very expensive people who didn't deliver, and they've taken that deal off the table, and they've given them a modest one.
"It's not like they're gradually uncoupling – it's a downgrade. Netflix are not going to expose themselves to those budgets again. It's Netflix saying, 'Let's have a look at your content, but we'll pick and choose, mate'."

Scottish Love is Blind UK star sends urgent message to fans as season 2 drops on Netflix
Katisha has shared an important message to Love Is Blind UK fans A Love is Blind UK contestant has made an urgent appeal to viewers as the highly anticipated second season returns to screens. The fresh season of Love Is Blind UK launches on Netflix today, Wednesday, August 13 following last year's triumph. A completely new batch of singletons are entering the experiment hoping to discover their ideal partner. However, there's a catch - isolated in individual pods, participants must forge emotional bonds without any face-to-face contact. Only after getting engaged and committing to progress their romance will they finally meet before moving in together and planning their wedding, reports the Mirror. As the programme broadcasts, one participant has made an urgent appeal asking viewers to be "mindful". Scottish contestant Katisha is the oldest of seven siblings and has remained single for over six years. Describing herself as "eternally unlucky in love", the 31 year old is determined to find romance with someone prepared to commit. Katisha has plenty of affection to offer and seeks a husband rather than just a boyfriend. Posting on her Instagram profile this week, Katisha revealed her time on the show has been "surreal". She posted: "2 DAYS TO GO UNTIL WE GO LIVE!!! Woke up this morning feeling SO excited but also a little nervous. "When I applied for @loveisblindnetflix never in a million years did I think I would be chosen to take part in the experiment! I'm a huge fan of the show and it's nuts that I've been lucky enough to visit the pods and be one of 30 singles given the opportunity to find love in an unorthodox way!!" Making an urgent appeal to viewers, she continued: "It's so surreal seeing it out there now when I've been sat on it for months. A quick PSA: "As you watch the show please be mindful as, as much as this is entertaining and it is a TV show this is still very much our lives!! It takes big balls to do something like this and I take my hats off to myself and all my cast mates for even just showing up. "I tried to keep true to myself and keep my mind and heart open throughout - as you've seen there's definitely been some vulnerability from me too. Kinda nervous for you to see this side of me actually. "Eeek! Can't wait to unpack it with you all! ! Are you ready to find out if love truly is blind???"

Animation smashes Netflix record in days becoming second most-watched film
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Netflix may be home to countless blockbusters, but a new contender is quickly climbing to the top of the all-time leaderboard. This animated film has captured the imaginations of viewers across the world and is currently sitting at 184.6 million views. That puts it just behind Red Notice – and if it's momentum holds, it could dethrone it in just a matter of weeks. The 2021 action-comedy, featuring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot, seemed untouchable – until now. Since premiering on June 20, KPop Demon Hunters has pulled in over 20 million views per week. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. In the most recent weekly rankings from August 4–10, it picked up another 25.9 million views. It ranked just behind My Oxford Year, but beat out anticipated titles like Happy Gilmore 2, Gladiator II, and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. The film blends KPop, Korean folklore, and fantasy action into a neon-lit, high-energy spectacle that's unlike anything else on Netflix. It follows fictional pop group HUNTR/X – global idols by day, demon slayers by night – as they face off against the Saja Boys, a rival boy band hiding a dark secret. Rotten Tomatoes critics have given the film a glowing 97% score, with many praising it for its originality, emotional depth, and sheer entertainment value. Voice talent includes Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-seop, Ji-young Yoo, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, Lee Byung-hun, and many more familiar names. The animation style is bold and vibrant, the soundtrack is contagious, and the choreography has already gone viral on TikTok. The song Golden from the movie even topped the Billboard Global 200, marking a major moment for an animated act. It's managed to cross genres, languages, and age groups – drawing in KPop stans, animation lovers, and curious Netflix browsers alike. Week after week, its viewership has held strong, making it the only movie in Netflix history to maintain such numbers so consistently over eight straight weeks. That consistency is what makes this climb so significant – and so threatening to Red Notice's long-standing record. KPop Demon Hunters now needs around 46 million more views to claim the title of Netflix's most-watched movie ever. Netflix hasn't confirmed plans for a sequel just yet, but fans are already demanding one – plus merch, a series, and possibly even a live-action spin-off. Fans have praised the new animation for creating a new generation of K-pop fans – whilst also bringing back older generations. @wisewyss on X said: 'The more the merrier, new KPop fans will come of this.' 'My love for KPop was revived thanks to this movie,' @ravenPH added. The film has also reignited conversation around what animated movies can be – especially when paired with global music trends like K-pop. And if there was ever doubt about the worldwide power of Korean storytelling, this movie silenced it. While most of Netflix's top movies come from Hollywood studios with action-heavy formulas, KPop Demon Hunters proves that creativity and cultural flair can be just as powerful. More Trending It's a massive win for Korean creators, for animated storytelling, and for viewers looking for something fresh. With just a few weeks to go before it potentially claims the number one spot, all eyes are on HUNTR/X. They came to slay demons, now they might slay the Netflix record books too. KPop Demon Hunters is available to stream on Netflix now. Got a story? Netflix comedy from Dexter's Laboratory creator slammed as 'incredibly disgusting' by viewers
Viewers have reported switching it off just minutes in Netflix viewers have been switching off a brand new comedy film on the platform within minutes, branding it "insufferable" and "incredibly disgusting." Launched on the streaming service today (August 13), Fixed centres on a dog called Bull (voiced by Adam Devine) who learns he's about to be castrated and embarks on one final adventure with his mates. He also plans to woo the pedigree pooch he fancies next door, Honey (Kathryn Hahn), before going under the knife. The animated comedy was crafted by Genndy Tartakovsky, a five-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker behind Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack, reports the Mirror. Netflix's synopsis states: " From visionary director Genndy Tartakovsky comes Fixed, an adult animated comedy about Bull, an average, all-around good dog who discovers he's going to be neutered in the morning! "As the gravity of this life-altering event sets in, Bull realizes he needs one last adventure with his pack of best friends as these are the last 24 hours with his balls! What could go wrong...?" The stellar cast also features Idris Elba as Rocco, Fred Armisen as Fetch and Bobby Moynihan as Lucky. Yet despite the celebrity talent involved, it has struggled to win over audiences from the get-go. "Fixed genuinely is insufferable and I'm only like five minutes in," one viewer began, adding: "I genuinely hate this. This is just corny sex jokes. I don't wanna see an animated dog's b******* flap while he's humping a grandma's leg." Another viewer abandoned the show after just the trailer, commenting: "It seemed incredibly disgusting (like worse than Big Mouth) just from the three second clip I watched while hovering over the title. Will absolutely not be investigating further," whilst a third disappointed Netflix subscriber added: "I still wanna know HOW were the voice actors talked into doing this." Not every viewer reacted so strongly to the film though. Defending the production, one supporter commented: "Just watched it. It's passable, wasn't as bad as the trailers made me think it would be but it's not a masterpiece by any means, great animation though." Speaking to Netflix's Tudum, Tartakovsky revealed how the cast was assembled: "Some of the material is a bit raunchy so we had to find people that were receptive to our sense of humor, and boy, did we. "I remember a moment where Kathryn Hahn read the script and called us - she wanted her character to be as raunchy as the other guys. It was a great note. We then rewrote her character to be reflective of that idea and she absolutely killed it."
