Holywell boss Haseldin pays tribute to retiring Andrews
During a brilliant career with the Wellmen, Andrews grabbed 58 goals in 139 appearances, helping the club to win the Cymru North title during the 2023-24 season.
Team boss Johnny Haseldin told the club's X site: 'As captain, he led from the front. He played with professionalism, pride, passion and honesty - and he set the tone for everyone around him.
'When big moments came, you could count on him. He didn't hide. He stepped up.
'The standout moment? Seeing him lift the league trophy in 2023/24. That image summed up everything he gave to this club, one that became his own.
'It's not easy saying goodbye to someone who's meant so much. The place will feel different without him, but we part ways with nothing but respect and appreciation.
'Danny has been a top player, a leader and a massive part of our journey.'
Holywell will continue their preparations for the new campaign on Saturday when they play host to Llangefni Town in their first pre-season friendly.
There's one pre-season friendly scheduled this evening, with Penycae travelling to Ellesmere United.
Wales are in competition with North Macedonia in their World Cup qualification efforts - and the link between the countries will continue in European competition next season.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy shares why club sacked Ange
The former Celtic boss was sacked just two weeks after leading Spurs to a Europa League victory. Levy, alongside new chief executive Vinai Venkatesham, explained in a club YouTube interview that it was not solely his decision. Postecoglou's dismissal came after two seasons in charge, during which the club lost 22 Premier League matches and finished 17th. Mr Levy said: "I don't regret appointing Ange. "In his first season, we finished fifth, and in the second season, we were over the moon to win a trophy, but we need to compete in all competitions. "We felt that we needed a change." He highlighted that the decision to sack the Australian was a collective one, made with the club's best interests in mind. "Emotionally, it was difficult, but we believe we have made the right decision for the club," he said. Despite last season's European success, Levy insisted the club's ambitions extend beyond this. He said: "We need to win the league. "We want to win the Premier League. "We want to win the Champions League."

Fears Linfield may get just 200 tickets for Champions League clash in Dublin… but chairman is hopeful
Linfield chairman Roy McGivern is confident there will be a healthy number of supporters from both clubs at the Champions League qualifying clashes with Shelbourne, despite fears fewer than 200 Blues fans will get into Tolka Park. The Blues chief is keen to see a large number of Shels supporters at Windsor Park while also hoping that at least 500 Linfield fans will roar on David Healy's side in the away leg. It's a fascinating all-island European derby that has sparked a huge demand for tickets.
