Quantum Valley initiative will change the face of Andhra Pradesh, says Vijayawada MP

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) on Friday said the Quantum Valley initiative launched by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would transform Andhra Pradesh in the coming years.
He was speaking after inaugurating a mega job mela organised by the Kesineni Foundation in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) at P.B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Science. Mr. Sivanath said the government was not only focused on job creation but also on promoting entrepreneurship through the Society for Employment and Entrepreneurship Development in Andhra Pradesh (SEEDAP). He said large-scale skill development programmes were being conducted for unemployed youth with provisions for free food and accommodation, and urged youth to utilise such opportunities for success.
He also announced that the Kesineni Foundation, in association with APSSDC and NTR Vikas, would organise similar job melas every three months in various constituencies of the NTR district.
Over 40 companies participated in the mela, offering employment opportunities to candidates with SSC, Intermediate, ITI, Diploma, degree, B.Tech, and PG qualifications.
Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rammohan stated that the government was targeting the creation of 20 lakh jobs in the next four years. District Collector G. Lakshmisha said Vijayawada had no shortage of talent and highlighted the government's emphasis on youth employment and skill development.
College Principal M. Ramesh, District Skill Development Officer S. Srinivasa Rao, and officials from various departments attended the event.
International Conference
The two-day International Conference on Recent Innovations in Computer Science and Technology (ICRICT) will be held on July 21 and 22 at P.B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Science. Vice-president of Pi Data Centre Pvt. Ltd., Mangalagiri, Abhinav Kotagiri, and Professor Neeraj Upadhyay from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRM University, will be the chief guests. Other speakers include Sesha Raghunadhan (IBM, Bengaluru), Venkat Pola (OneShot AI, USA), V. Shiva Kishore (Infosys, Germany), Venu Nimmagadda (Velera, USA), Kiran Babu Mach (Maximus, USA), G. Srinivas (University of Technology and Applied Science, Oman), S. Suresh (SwankTek, USA), and K. Venu Madhav (International University of Science and Technology, South Africa).

Naidu on Sunday addressed a mammoth gathering of over 2,500 people of the Telugu diaspora from Southeast Asia in Singapore. Telugu people from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia atended the event. He remarked that Telugu people have adapted to the changing global scenarios. He said that the reforms brought by the TDP-led governments have transformed the lives of Telugu people. Naidu said that the Singapore government prepared a master plan for Amaravati for free following his personal request. He said he had entrusted the construction of the seed capital Singapore govt after seeing their amazing performance in construction of townships in many countries. Amaravati would have reached Singapore's level had TDP won 2019 elections," said Naidu. Naidu said that they would ensure that such mistakes do not happen again. He said that he had great admiration and respect for Singapore. It stands as a testament to integrity and honesty. Corruption is minimal here. "We are developing a Quantum Valley in Amaravati and have announced a Green Hydrogen Valley. There is a long coastline, and many ports can be built. Port-based industries can be established on a large scale. There will be 20 ports in AP, with the potential for 15-20 airports. There is immense scope for development. Andhra Pradesh will be the logistics hub of India. We are working with the Gates Foundation and Tata in the health sector. Many Telugu people hold key positions in prominent organisations abroad. CM assured that he would ensure direct flights are operated from Singapore to Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati in AP. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's visit to Singapore is yielding strong investment interest, with back-to-back meetings on Day 1 focusing on infrastructure and industrial collaboration. In a key interaction on Sunday, urban infrastructure giant Surbana Jurong expressed interest in investing in large-scale housing projects in the State. Mr. Naidu invited the Singapore-based company to play a pivotal role in the State's 'Housing for All' initiative. He outlined the State's infrastructure roadmap, which included development of 20 ports and 15 airports, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a logistics and industrial hub. He urged the company to explore investment avenues in integrated township development. Meanwhile, Eversendai Engineering, a leading Malaysian construction company known for its global landmark projects, proposed the establishment of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and an integrated training center in Andhra Pradesh. Eversendai Chairman Tan Sri Dato' A. K. Nathan discussed potential sites in Visakhapatnam and Krishnapatnam, with the proposed factory spanning nearly two lakh square metres. The project is expected to boost industrial growth and job creation. The company also proposed a Structural Engineering Training Center in partnership with IIT- Tirupati and IIIT, Sri City, and expressed interest in the Amaravati infrastructure projects. Eversendai had previously worked on iconic projects such as Burj Khalifa, Petronas Towers, DLF Downtown Chennai, and Statue of Unity.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has reaffirmed his commitment to addressing discrepancies in the construction partnership records for the capital, Amaravati, during his recent visit to Singapore. He conveyed this message to Indian High Commissioner Dr. Shilpak Ambule. In a meeting attended by Ministers Lokesh, P. Narayana, TG Bharat, and other senior officials, CM Naidu outlined the new policies implemented by the Andhra Pradesh government aimed at attracting investment. He revealed that the state has set an ambitious target of 160 gigawatts in the green energy sector, with green hydrogen projects already approved. Naidu also announced plans for the establishment of Quantum Valley in Amaravati, which is part of the India Quantum Mission, and confirmed that a Google data centre will be constructed in Visakhapatnam. He stated that the Rayalaseema region offers favourable conditions for investments in defence, aerospace, electronics, and the automobile industry and expressed his desire for Singaporean investments to be directed towards Andhra Pradesh as a gateway into India. During the meeting, High Commissioner Ambule noted that 83 percent of the housing in Singapore is public housing. Minister Narayana highlighted various projects underway in Andhra Pradesh and sought necessary support to facilitate investment in the state. Meanwhile, Minister Lokesh elaborated on the government's initiatives in the education sector.
