Man found shot to death inside crashed vehicle in East McKeesport
Police found a man shot to death inside a crashed vehicle in East McKeesport.
Allegheny County police say a 911 call came in around 11:48 p.m. Thursday for a multi-vehicle crash in the 500 block of Pittsburgh Street near Park Avenue.
There, first responders found a vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle at Pittsburgh Street and Walnut Alley.
Inside the striking vehicle was a man who'd been shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man as Keith Pelmon III, 20, of Penn Hills.
The investigation is ongoing. Preliminary information shows the shooting happened at Park Avenue and Pittsburgh Street, and the vehicle traveled a block away to Walnut Alley and Pittsburgh Street, where it crashed, police say.

Third victim in Seattle shooting discovered
On June 11, a woman was shot in the head and a man was shot in the foot during a shooting in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood. Police searching for missing Indiana County teen
State police are searching for a missing teen from Indiana County. Joel H. Harmon, 19, of Young Township, was reported missing by family members Thursday after he left his home on foot around 1:30 p.m. He did not return home by evening, which police say is not normal for him. Harmon is described as a white, non-Hispanic man with short, light-brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 220 pounds. Harmon was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black and silky basketball shorts and white tennis shoes. Drivers reported seeing Harmon around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at a stop sign at the intersection of Klimkos and Hancock roads in Young Township. Police say it's unknown where he was going. Anyone with information about Harmon's whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. The Indiana County Emergency Management Agency is doing a drone search of the area to help with the investigation. Man found dead after car crash and shooting in East McKeesport
One person is dead after a late-night car crash and shooting in East McKeesport. According to Allegheny County Police, just after 11:30 p.m. on Thursday night, 911 was alerted to a multi-vehicle crash in the 500 block of Pittsburgh Street near Park Avenue. Once police and EMS arrived on the scene, they found that a car had crashed into multiple parked vehicles. Inside that car, police found a man who had been shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Ultimately, the man was identified as 20-year-old Keith Pelmon III of Penn Hills. Investigators' preliminary information has found that the shooting took place at the intersection of Park Avenue and Pittsburgh Street, and from there, the man drove his car to Walnut Alley and Pittsburgh Street, where the crashes happened. Anyone with information regarding the shooting and crash is asked to call the county police tipline at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
