Valerie Bertinelli shows off a different side in an action-packed new music video from her son's band.
In Mammoth WVH's horror-themed video for 'The End,' Wolfgang Van Halen, 34, performs for a club filled with zombies and vampires — and his mom steps in to fight the menacing creatures.
The celebrity chef, 65, opened up about how much she enjoyed the experience in an Instagram post on Saturday, May 3.
'A ridiculous amount of fun was had for two days,' she wrote, going on to compliment Robert Rodriguez, who directed the video.

'His passion and joy for his craft is truly contagious,' Bertinelli continued. 'And thank you, Robert for the lesson on how to throw a punch on camera. 👊🏼 I can't believe after all these years I've never done that. So much f---ing fun!'
The From Dusk Till Dawn director had plenty of praise for Bertinelli too.
'I've worked with some major action stars in my career, but no one has ever been as SAVAGE and RELENTLESS as MAMA WOLF Valerie Bertinelli in THE END!' he captioned a clip of the One Day at a Time star. 'Bone Crunching Goodness!'
'I've never thrown a punch on camera before 😳,' Bertinelli commented on Rodriguez's post, before calling him a 'genius' and a 'super nice guy.'
Wolfgang, whose father is late Van Halen frontman Eddie Van Halen, shows off his guitar shredding skills in the video, which also features appearances from Slash, Danny Trejo, and Wolgfang's wife Andraia Van Halen.

Bertinelli was married to Eddie from 1981 until 2007. He died from cancer in October 2020.
To mark Wolfgang's 34th birthday in March, Bertinelli shared a funny clip in which she joined him at band practice but was only trusted to press one note on a keyboard.
"1, 2, 3 and..." he shouted, before his mom held down on the one note.
"I love you," the cookbook author giggled, as her son said, "Love you, mom."
Bertinelli captioned the post, "To the 🌙 and back, Wolfie 🤍 Happy Birthday 🥰 p.s. I will not be taking comments on how I had *one* job… to hit *one* key… and well… I won't be joining the band anytime soon 😝."

A look at how big of a hit Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift scored with their podcast teaser

The Taylor Swift effect has hit the podcast world. The pop star plans to make a rare appearance on Wednesday on the "New Heights" podcast, which is cohosted by her boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce. As it turns out, dating one of the world's most famous people can have a profound effect on your brand's reach. Engagement with the podcast's posts soared on Instagram Tuesday. Swift coupled her own 280 million-strong Instagram following with Kelce's podcast audience to announce her twelfth studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," in an Instagram post at midnight on Tuesday. Less than 12 hours later, that post by the "New Heights" account hit 4.5 million likes and had an engagement rate of 145%, according to data from social media management platform Metricool. Metricool measures engagement based on the total number of likes and comments a post receives compared to the number of followers the account has at the time of posting. The "New Heights" account had about 3.1 million followers. View this post on Instagram A post shared by New Heights (@newheightshow) A typical Instagram post has an average engagement rate between 0.5% and 0.69%, depending on whether it's a reel, video, or carousel post, Metricool told Business Insider. Swift and Kelce's teaser posts for their podcast episode blew those stats out of the water. Another teaser from "New Heights" that wasn't cross-posted to Swift's large following raked in over 1.7 million likes and more than 60,000 comments as of Tuesday afternoon — with a 54% engagement rate based on the podcast's following. "New Heights" isn't the only podcast getting a Swift bump on social media. Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast teased a mystery guest on its account a few hours before the "New Heights" announcement. The comments included hopeful Swifties, who pushed the post's engagement to 2.46%. The show hasn't yet revealed its surprise guest. Swift's interview with Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce on "New Heights" is set to air on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. The show is no stranger to A-listers. LeBron James appeared on the show in January, and the Instagram announcement of his appearance received over 600,000 likes. But Swift doesn't frequently go on podcasts, and her appearance could take the show into another stratosphere. "Taylor's about to do a f*cking podcast," the caption on Tuesday's Instagram teaser read.

Sha'Carri Richardson Speaks Out After Domestic Violence Arrest: 'I Refuse To Run Away'

Sha'Carri Richardson broke her silence after being arrested and accused of domestic violence. In a video message shared to her Instagram story on Monday night (Aug. 11), the 25-year-old explained her plans to hold herself 'accountable' following the public incident in which the athlete was taken into custody during an airport encounter with her boyfriend, track star Christian Coleman. 'Hey y'all, it's Shacarri. More than anything, definitely a lot of self-reflection, a lot of understanding of not only putting myself in a compromising situation with somebody that I have a deep care and appreciation for as well, is something that — holding myself accountable,' detailed the Olympic medalist in the 24-hour-timed upload viewed by VIBE. 'I see myself. I'm taking this time to not only see myself but get myself a certain level of help that overall is going to reflect who I truly am in my heart and in my spirit, and not allowing this moment, but accepting this moment to be more.' 'So my only thing is, I want to be more — not just only for myself, for my family, my fans. I overly appreciate y'all supporting me and showing up, and even holding me accountable to being my best self. So more than anything, I refuse to run away … but face everything that comes to me head-on because everything on the other side is greater, but you gotta go through in order to get there,' she continued. 'I'm Sha'Carri y'all. I appreciate y'all. One love. Much love. Y'all be blessed.' On Tuesday morning, she followed the video message with words directed to Coleman. 'I apologize to Christian,' she declared. 'He came into my life and gave me more than a relationship but a greater understanding of unconditional love from what I've experienced in my past. Due to my past trauma and pain. I was blind and blocked off to not only receive it but give it.' The message continued to read, 'I love him and to him I can't apologize enough. My apologize should be as loud as my actions, honestly louder. To Christian, I love you and I am so sorry.' After news broke of the arrest, Coleman immediately offered support for Richardson. As previously reported, he declined to press charges and informed police officers that he did not want to be considered a victim. 'For me personally, I feel like it was a sucky situation all around,' Coleman explained. 'I don't feel like she should have been arrested. I mean, people have discussions and emotions and stuff like that. She has things that she needs to work on for herself, of course. So do I, so do you, so does everybody. But I'm the type of guy who's in the business of extending grace, and mercy, and love.' 'I hate the narrative, too. It's so negative… She's a human being and a great person. We've been able to be really good teammates all year… She's to me, she's the best female athlete in the world. I see it every day.' In surveillance footage from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Richardson is seen shoving Coleman near a TSA Checkpoint, which resulted in law enforcement intervening. Following the incident, she was taken into custody and held for nearly 19 hours at the SCORE South Correctional Facility in Des Moines, Washington. VIBE has reached out to Richardson's team for a statement.
