The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, have reportedly welcomed a litter of puppies into their family, much to the delight of their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Their quaint four-bedroom cottage in the Home Counties, known as Adelaide Cottage, is where you'll find the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. This unexpected abode for a future king and his family is nestled within the vast 655-acre Windsor Home Park, just a short 10-minute walk from the grandeur of Windsor Castle.
This understated residence has been William and Kate's sanctuary since they bid farewell to their grand 1A Kensington Palace home in 2022.
With three young children - Prince George, aged 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 - the couple found this relatively modest retreat by Royal standards to be the perfect place to raise a family.
However, they now share their home with four new puppies, born to their beloved dog, Orla, according to reports. The Royal children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are said to be completely enamoured with the newborn pups, reports the Mirror.
As reported by The Sun, both mother and pups are doing well, and there's a tangible sense of excitement in the house over the new arrivals. It remains unknown whether William and Kate plan on keeping the black cocker spaniel's offspring.
A source revealed to the outlet: "Mother and babies are doing well. We always thought the patter of tiny feet in the Wales's household had ended, so the sound of tiny paws will have to do. The names of the little dogs and the identity of their father are yet to be revealed, reports the Express. The source further commented: "Everyone loves new Royal baby news and so new Royal puppies run very close. Everyone is very excited, not least the three children, who adore Orla, and Lupo before.
"Orla was featured in a poignant video shared by Princess Kate last September, where she announced the end of her cancer treatment. It's believed that the couple welcomed Orla into their family in 2020, the same year they lost their beloved dog, Lupo. The charming pooch is a pup from one of Kate Middleton's brother's dogs; James Middleton being a keen dog enthusiast himself. In a touching gesture last month, William and Kate posted a rare picture of Orla in honour of National Pet Day. The Royal couple dedicated their social media message to the occasion with heartfelt words: "Celebrating the animals who bring so much joy, companionship and love to our lives this #NationalPetDay.
