How Orlando Bloom is turning into ‘world's worst ex' after Katy Perry split from cringe behaviour to nepo-baby parties

HE's failed to reclaim his leading man status, ever since playing a sea-faring adventurer in Pirates of the Caribbean over two decades ago.
But Orlando Bloom has upped his swashbuckling adventures off-camera over the past few weeks, in the aftermath of his and Katy Perry's break-up.

All that's left us wondering: has Orlando, 48, assumed his greatest role yet…as the worst ex ever?
Because as far as he's concerned, his single era's in full Bloom. And he is making sure the world knows about it.
Whether it's air-kissing the Kardashians and co at the Bezos-Sanchez wedding, or partying with nepo babies half his age at Oasis's concert in Manchester, the former heartthrob has been keeping himself busy.
Meanwhile, his very recent ex has been grafting hard on her world tour, Lifetimes, and plastering on a smile following the end of their nine-year relationship.

PERRY'S PAIN Katy Perry fights back tears onstage as she thanks fans after Orlando split
His jam-packed social diary includes cringe-inducing selfies and videos, and a bleary-eyed appearance at Wimbledon the morning after the night before at Oasis.
Rewinding two months, the actor was there to greet Katy, with their four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, in tow, following her all-female, 11-minute space flight with Blue Origin in April.
But behind the scenes, reports spread that the couple's out-of-this-world love had come crashing down to earth, amid rumours that Orlando wasn't happy with Katy's very attention-seeking spectacle.
One month later, their engagement was reportedly over, and they were duly pictured on opposite sides of the world.
For his part, Orlando rocked up solo to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's £20m wedding in Venice, while Katy - who's actually the one who's close to the billionaire pair - honoured her tour commitments in Australia.
They had yet to confirm the split, but the writing was on the wall, as Orlando got busy 'partying and cosying up' to Sydney Sweeney, among the many A-listers in attendance, and hugging a 'mystery woman' - who later turned out to be Katy's stylist, Jamie Mizrahi.

And the cringey behaviour didn't stop there, as Orlando - the man who didn't like Katy's public spectacle - decided to run a lap of Venice in the shortest shorts possible.
Needless to say, short-shrift was given to any alleged hopes he had of going incognito.
Days later, the former couple announced in a statement that 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.
'They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.'
Days later, they stayed true to their word - with Orlando sharing photos from a family holiday in Italy with Katy, Daisy Dove, and Orlando's son Flynn, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
But after bidding the family arrivederci, the actor was off to the races - seemingly loving every minute of his newfound single life.
Over the weekend, he posted a video from Oasis's concert at Heaton Park, where he hobnobbed in the VIP section with the band's kids, including Liam Gallagher's sons Lennon, 25, and Gene, 24.

Singing blissfully into his phone, the actor sparked a mixed reaction. Some loved his unbridled love for the band; others found it just a wee bit cringeworthy.
One commenter wrote: 'Midlife crisis on full display,' while another weighed in: 'Grow up.'
A third added: 'Hasn't done anything since Lord of the Rings.
'Such a boring non-entity.'
Not one to be deterred, the father of two partied into the night, before donning his fineries the following day to attend the Wimbledon Men's Final.
Dressed in a Ralph Lauren suit - with sunglasses to supposedly disguise the inevitable hangover - the actor watched Jannik Sinner beat Carlos Alcaraz to take the top title.
Taking to Instagram, he later wrote: 'What a game!!!
'There is something so reassuringly British and life affirming about Wimbledon.'
Once again, his exploits sparked a mixed reaction.
One follower joked, 'You're everywhere,' while another added, 'He's having quite the freeloading summer.'
Meanwhile, in contrast to his very social life, Orlando's acting career hasn't quite sparked the same global attention.
His most recent film, Deep Cover - in which he stars as an improv actor turned undercover agent - was released on Amazon Prime last month.
So far, it's garnered positive reviews, but it's had half the impact of Orlando's social calendar.
I sometimes look at a cow and think, that's the most beautiful thing ever
Orlando Bloom
What's more, he may have been Hollywood hot property in the noughties - with roles in massive franchises like Lord of The Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean - but he's hardly made a splash since.
He's worked relatively consistently, but his personal life has always eclipsed his professional output.
Very public relationships with actress Kate Bosworth and first wife Miranda Kerr have increased his reputation as a celebrity romancer.
That was then cemented when he got together with singer Katy in 2016 - before proposing in 2020.
They'd initially planned to get married in Japan later that year, but the COVID-19 pandemic scuppered those chances.
Then, after the initial postponement, they said their busy schedules kept getting in the way.
Sources have since said: "They never set a date for the wedding or got around to planning anything, and Orlando is 'over it.''
Meanwhile, despite Orlando's love for things 'reassuringly British' he's slowly but surely become a parody of an LA cliche.
90 percent vegan
In 2021, he went viral for all the wrong reasons, after taking part in the Sunday Times' Day in the Life series.
On an average day, he said, he woke up at 6.30am and spent time 'connecting' with his then baby daughter.
He said: 'I'll do eye-gazing with her and sing songs.'
Then, his day got progressively madder, as he explained: 'I like to earn my breakfast so I'll just have some green powders that I mix with brain octane oil, a collagen powder for my hair and nails, and some protein.
'It's all quite LA, really.'
As well as chanting 'for 20 minutes every day, religiously', he also went hiking and built Lego.
Capping off the universally-mocked feature, he explained why he was 90 percent vegan, opining: 'I sometimes look at a cow and think, that's the most beautiful thing ever'...despite the fact that, 10 percent of the time, he ate red meat.
Orlando was duly mocked to oblivion for his 'normal routine' - and his reputation hasn't quite survived the wreckage.
Now, as he continues to make hay while the sun shines on his very single summer, we're all wondering: are we watching him play his biggest role to date, as the world's worst - and certainly most embarrassing - ex?
Sadly for Katy, Orlando may have hung up his pirate costume decades ago… but it looks like he's more determined than ever to sail the seas.

He wrote on Instagram: "Life at 30. Still wild. Just slightly more endangered. "Thank you so much for all the lovely birthday messages everyone! Grateful for the people, places and wild moments that have shaped the last three decades. "Here's to the next 30 years… for conservation, rescue and for giving wildlife the future it deserves." Referencing Cam's work as the managing director of The Big Cat Sanctuary, Tasha commented: "Happy bday dr dolittle!!!" Strictly's Karen Hauer and broadcaster Kate Lawler also sent him birthday wishes. Tasha, 26, and Cam were pictured hand-in-hand at Fearne Cotton's Happy Place Festival in London at the weekend. An insider said: 'Tasha and Cam have been dating for just over a month and are really happy. 'She met him after moving close to where he lives and they connected on social media. 'It's clear there's a real spark between them.' Tasha, who found fame on Love Island in 2022, said she fell for Cam because of his ambition and drive. The Sun revealed how Tasha's romance with her Love Island boyfriend Andrew ended earlier this year - with her signing up to celebrity dating app Raya. But last week Andrew accused Tasha of cheating on him and signing up to the app while they were still together. His explosive comments came after Tasha opened up about finding love again on Rylan Clark's BBC podcast, How To Be In Love, where she also said she wanted to reconnect with Andrew for closure. In a statement posted on Instagram, Andrew said: 'The truth is… she went on Raya while we were still together… oops. 'No one is perfect in a relationship but you keep talking s*** about me, I'll start talking. 'She did one too many podcasts unfortunately. This is your closure chat.' He later backed down and said in another statement: 'Things were said on both sides, but at the end of the day, no relationship is perfect, but ours still had some incredible moments I'll always be grateful for.' Tasha opened up about her relationship with Cam, 30, last week, but refused to name him. Speaking on Rylan's podcast, she said: 'I remember seeing the guy I am dating on TikTok. 'I was like, 'Why not?'.' Tasha, who competed on the last series of Strictly, added: "I thought you only live once. 'I went with an open mind and we clicked straight away. He is very ambitious, he is driven, he is caring. 'He's got all these amazing attributes that made me go, 'There is more I want to know about you.' 'And we've been enjoying our company and seeing what happens.' Cam's mother, Lynn, is the CEO of Paradise Wildlife Park, now known as Hertfordshire Zoo, which Cam and his two brothers, Aaron and Tyler, are heavily involved in. The trio created a TV series, One Zoo Three, for CBBC which followed them as they worked on the site. Cam is also the managing director of Paradise Wildlife Park's sister charity, The Big Cat Sanctuary.

I'm TV's hotel inspector – here are eight red flags you've booked a bad room from poached eggs test to hot tub
The Hotel Inspector star Alex Polizzi reveals the subtle clues your hotel room is not up to scratch, including why you should be cautious when booking a 'boutique' hotel ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT I'm TV's hotel inspector – here are eight red flags you've booked a bad room from poached eggs test to hot tub Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) FROM badly-cooked eggs to peeling stickers on the window, sharp-tongued hotelier Alex Polizzi says there are plenty of red flags to watch out for when booking your next stay. With more than two decades in the game and her own successful hotel chain, the 53-year-old star knows exactly what makes a stay memorable, and what turns it into a nightmare. 8 The Hotel Inspector star Alex Polizzi reveals the subtle clues that scream that your hotel room is secretly not up to scratch Right now, she admits, the industry is going through a difficult period, and it's hitting the guest experience directly. 'It's miserable at the moment,' she says. 'The challenges facing hoteliers are enormous. I wake up every day and wonder why I'm still doing it. 'But there are small things they can do to make a big difference. Many people go into this industry with no experience. 'They will not survive without taking their heads out of the sand and taking a look around them at what works and what doesn't.' Here Alex — whose new series of The Hotel Inspector returns to our screens this week — reveals her top red flags, the subtle clues that scream that your hotel room is secretly not up to scratch. 1. IT'S A 'BOUTIQUE' HOTEL 8 Stay away from fancy descriptions and staying at a 'boutique' hotel doesn't mean you'll get a better bedroom Credit: Getty THIS word is bandied around so much now and has become completely meaningless. Hoteliers use words like 'sumptuous' and 'luxury' in a bid to lure in customers. But most customers know you aren't getting luxury for a few quid. Ignore fancy descriptions. Instead look at the photos and the facilities on offer. Watch out for the type of place where every surface is covered with fake cacti and there are bits and bobs everywhere. It's untidy and potentially unhygienic. Clear, clean surfaces are best. 2. LANDLORD IS LAZY YOU need energy and enthusiasm to run a hotel. If the landlord looks slovenly and won't show you to your room, it's a red flag. One hotel landlord in Dartmoor from this series was so lazy. Some people think, once they've got their own business, they can lie about on the sofa all day. Actually you are now chief cook and bottle washer as well. The day never ends. If they won't show you to your room, what else are they not doing? The Hotel Inspector's Alex Polizzi reveals the struggle she's had with a hotel owner over a restaurant interior 3. BAD EGG 8 If the hotel kitchen can't cook a decent poached egg, best to eat somewhere else Credit: Getty THE true test of a hotel kitchen is the poached egg. So many hotel chefs can't cook decent ones. I always order them as the ultimate test of what is going on behind closed doors. If they can't do a decent job of this, I wouldn't expect much from the food on offer and would find somewhere else to eat. 4. THEY HAVE A HOT TUB 8 Every bad hotel has a hot hub, which are a breeding ground for germs Credit: Getty THERE'S a huge trend for hot tubs right now. Every crappy hotel I go to has one and hopes it will make them a profit. They don't. And hoteliers either spend all day keeping them clean, or they are dirty. I am not someone who would get into a hot tub. They are a breeding ground for germs — repulsive things. Incidentally, beware places that advertise that they have a spa, when what they actually have is an eight-person hot tub. 5. COFFEE OUT OF ORDER 8 If your room features a broken coffee machine, it's likely there's more stuff inside the hotel that won't be fit for purpose Credit: Getty THE first thing that greeted me at The Railway Rambler's Rest in Dartmoor was a broken coffee machine. If it doesn't work, why not just throw it out? If that's out of order, it's likely there's a ton of other stuff inside the hotel that won't be fit for purpose. It gives a bad first impression. 6. CIGS OUTSIDE FRONT DOOR 8 Hotels with cigarette butts outside the front door shows your hotel isn't clean Credit: Alamy FIRST impressions count. Dirty entrance halls and dirty windows with peeling stickers on them. Fag butts outside the front door. If I arrive and see this stuff, I panic and think: 'Here we go again'. Socks under the bed are also a red flag, as you'll wonder when was the last time the place was hoovered. We need cheap hotels, but why can't they be cheap AND clean? 7. TOWEL ON THE BED 8 A hotel with towels on the bed shows poor thought and design Credit: Getty WHO started the trend of towels on the bed? It's not a good idea. You need one in the bathroom. It's no good having a shower and then having to walk dripping wet through to the bedroom to pick up your towel. It shows poor thought and design. You never see a towel on the bed at a five-star hotel. It's only acceptable in Disneyland, where the staff make the towels into fabulous animal shapes for the children. That's fun. 8. LOO LABEL LUNACY 8 Hotels which say your loo has been sanitised should make you worried about the hygiene in the rest of the bedroom Credit: Getty MANY cheap hotels have a cover over the loo to tell you it has been sanitised. I should hope so! You don't need to tell me. I take it for granted that it has been cleaned. If they have to tell me, I'd immediately start worrying about hygiene in the rest of the bedroom. It's the same with making the pointy bit at the end of the loo roll. I don't want someone touching my loo paper, especially the end I'm going to use. The latest series of The Hotel Inspector begins tomorrow on Channel 5 at 8pm. Episodes will be available to stream on My5.

American living in UK slams Oasis gigs but Noel Gallagher's daughter has 'best response'
An American living in the UK has slammed the Oasis reunion gigs, but Noel Gallagher's daughter replied pretty quickly. Gizzelle Cade expressed her fury in a candid video Over the past few weeks most people have been talking about the Oasis reunion. After all, it's the first time the band has been back together in 16 years, and thousands of fans have been flocking to see the Gallagher brothers take to the stage together again. However, an American woman living in Manchester has slammed the Oasis reunion, and opened up about a personal issue she has with it. Though she has concerns, she probably didn't expect Noel Gallagher 's daughter, Anaïs, to reply to her TikTok rant after she shared it with the world online and caused a stir with her bold claims. Gizzelle Cade said: "This message is for the people of Manchester and Manchester only. I need you guys to wrap up this Oasis thing this week. I need you to wrap it up this week. "I'm leaving my house and McDonald's - Oasis, Adidas - Oasis, Oasis merch, Oasis look-a-like contests, Oasis discounted drinks, music all night - you guys need to wrap this up. "I've listened to the music - it's ok, but it's not Calypso, it's not Afrobeat. I need you guys to wrap this up this week, so I can start leaving my house in peace. Thank you - signed, a concerned US/UK citizen" The video has been viewed dozens of times since it was shared, but one very important person took to the comments section. Noel's daughter, Anaïs, was one of many people to respond. She said: "Girl, let the fans have their fun. They've waited long enough." Naturally, people were quick to like the comment. Other fans also seemed a bit angry, as another wrote: "Lol, I'm 100% not an Oasis fan and I also live in Manchester; however, you as an American cannot come and live in the city where Oasis was born and tell people here to 'wrap it up'. "You can't expect people to tone down being a Mancunian. I agree that it's a lot, but let people have their fun. Just stay at home until it's over?" Someone else replied: "I think it's ignorant to move somewhere and ask the local culture to tone down a cultural tidal wave of an Oasis reunion." One more wrote: "Imagine moving to Manchester and being annoyed by Oasis." To this, the content creator replied: "I didn't know before I got here." Another added: "God forbid a band comes back after 16 years." A blatant Oasis fan also chimed in with: "But they are unapologetically ours. We will celebrate them." Some people did agree with Gizzelle though, as someone else replied: "I live around the corner from Heaton Park. It's been hell." One more added: "I was over Oasis before they started." Despite Gizzelle's concerns, around 80,000 fans attended Heaton Park for the first of five gigs in Manchester. Last weekend, the Gallagher brothers opened the show with Hello, the first number on their hugely celebrated album What's The Story (Morning Glory)? Fans have been raving about the shows since the band first kicked off the reunion tour in Cardiff. Many have labelled the gigs among "best" they've ever experienced.
