Britney Spears' 'gorgeous' perfume worth £50 cut to £25 at Boots
People have said that there is 'nothing not to like' about a pop star's perfume that is now on sale at Boots. The online-only deal has been offered to fans on the fragrance, which is decades-old and is popular worldwide.
Boots is running an deal offering half price on Britney Spears' perfume range, including Fantasy. The 50% deal covers all sizes of the pretty pink perfume, including the 100ml version that is usually worth £49 but now available for £24.50.
The health and beauty store's website describes Fantasy as "alive with enchantment and rich with the thrill of the chase." It blends red lychee, golden quince, and kiwi with jasmine Petals, white chocolate, and sensual woods into a "light, feminine scent." The fruity scent is presented in a vibrant pink bottle accented with Swarovski crystals.
The original version of Fantasy has been a fan favourite since it was released as one of Britney's early fragrance deals in 2005. It has gone on to inspire other versions such as Fantasy Twist, Circus Fantasy and more - which all have subtle scent differences.
There are similar perfumes available elsewhere such as Katy Perry's "sweet and playful" Purr Eau de Parfum on sale for £15.95 at Amazon. Also, Superdrug has an offer (at the time of writing) for pop star Sabrina Carpenter's Cherry Baby EDP for £20.99.
But, the offer for the Toxic singer's fragrance is something shoppers have been raving about for years - going off the hundreds of glowing reviews by Boots customers. One said: "This has been my favourite perfume for such a long time. The smaller one is perfect for your bag."
Another added: "Perfect sweet floral smell and lasts all day. I have had this for years since it came out, love it." A third put: "I've tried quite a few Britney fragrances and I have to say I've liked all of them - and this one is no exception! It's really lovely and not too heavy for the daytime. Nothing not to like!"
However, not all shoppers were happy. One claimed: "This was always my go to perfume but it does not smell like it used to, it's not as strong candied smell it's more a floral smell now that does not last."
Another suggested: "This does not last long at all." A third also warned: "Not good at all. The smell does not stay at all!"
And one more recently put: "This was always my go-to perfume but it does not smell like it used to. It's not [got] a strong candied smell, it's more a floral smell now that does not last."
Despite these comments, someone else branded the perfume "absolutely gorgeous," while a second shared: "This is one of my favourite scents. It's sweet and smells like candy. It lasts throughout the day, and I always get compliments with it."

The Best See Through Beauty Bags To Shop Now
Packing can be an arduous process. The mere thought of 'getting ahead' of it all can be overwhelming. I should know - I've been there. Nowadays, however? I take pride in packing. Not because I'm particularly good at it, but because I have the right tools. At the top of the list, right next to fashionable yet functional packing cubes and my Antler cabin bag, is a quartet of see-it-all beauty bags. With summer holidays a go, it's likely that one in particular has been flooding your For You Page on TikTok. Space NK's transparent travel bags have long been at the centre of every It-girl's #packwithme video, but a flurry of clear case beauty organisers have joined the ranks to ease our packing woes. At the start of summer, Boots entered the aesthetic beauty bag fold with its Transparent Bags in Black, £15, and Pink, £20. Large enough to house your 200ml products, the medium-size bags make light work of getting your make-up into gear. Beauty Pie has just given clear cases a new meaning, with its all new small, medium and large make-up bags available in see-through summer shades of fresh green, zesty yellow and juicy orange, from £14. While there is certainly a flurry of see-it-all beauty bags on the market, I will always revert to my trusty Space NK transparent travel bags. They range in various sizes, from mini to medium and large, which all come in a kaleidoscope of colours, making for easy categorising. There's even a Double Travel Bag, £46, for stacking packing which is handy for those who like to keep everything in one place. As for me, I'm a chronic over packer, but the method to my madness lies in the form of four colour coded Space NK Large Travel Bags, £36 each, which I categorise into make-up, skincare, body care and haircare edits. While a long haul flight hates to see me coming, I've found that this system of packing (while certainly a little excessive) helps to keep me and all my things in check, leaving little room for overthinking and stressing. That's a win in my book. Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, using the Space NK Travel Bags 1. Boots Pink Transparent Bag Price: £20 This newly launched medium-sized beauty bag from Boots measures 18cm (depth) x 26.5cm (width) x 10cm (height). Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says, 'Boots isn't new to transparent beauty bags, in fact the first one I ever tried was the Boots Clear Cosmetic Bag, £5, but the high street beauty giant's new take on clear cosmetic bags is far more robust, durable and high-quality, from its thick trimming to the gold zip.' Pros Cheaper price point Effective for medium-size beauty products Cons Only two colours available 2. Space NK Large Travel Bag Space NK's Travel Bags are bestselling for good reason. The large size is perfect for housing all of your favourite full-size products in one place and is perfect for longer trips. The transparent panels make it easy to see what is inside and are fully wipeable. Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says: 'I am wedded to my Space NK Large Travel Bags, I have four on-the-go when I'm on my travels and love categorising each into separate make-up, skincare, haircare and body care edits to keep my organised. I've used them for three years on the trot and they never fail me.' Pros Large size bag Multiple colour ways Cons High price point than others 3. VIEVE The Essential+ Makeup Bag Price: £25 The Essential+ Makeup Bag boasts a faux crocodile, patent black trimmings (with the signature gold VIEVE badge) along side a top clear panel to keeps your beauty bits organised while looking chic. Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says: 'It's obvious that this case was cooked up by a pro make-up artist, like Jamie Genevieve. While stylish in every way from the croc trimming to the satin lining, it is also highly functional and makes for the perfect make-up organiser.' Pros Stylish finish Faux croc trimming Cons 4. Large Makeup Bag in Juicy Orange Beauty Pie's newest travel essential comes byway of three new make-up bags which come in tinted finish and three different summer-friendly colour ways that include yellow, green and orange. Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says: 'If you fancy something more exciting than a clear case, look to Beauty Pie's summer coded take on things. While still totally transparent, the three cases available boast a tinted finish aesthetic yet easy product finding.' Pros Eye catching Tinted yet still transparent Cons Only one colour available per size 5. M&S Collection 3 Piece Clear Makeup Bag Set With three different sizes available in one set, this M&S kit really gives you more bang for your buck. Each bag can fulfil a different function for your beauty routine, all while being easy on the eye thanks to the black and cream trims and quality zip. Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says: 'This is a seriously clever investment. You'll receive 3 bags for the price of one and a shape that takes a departure from most other clear cosmetic bags which are often square and boxy.' Pros Affordable Three bags in one set Cons Shape of bag may mean you can't pack to the brim Sameeha Shaikh is Grazia's beauty writer, covering all categories to bring you insights on the latest trends, industry news and the products you need to know about, viral or not (most probably viral).

Britney Spears reveals how she sounds without autotune as she sings along to Otis Redding while dancing erratically in latest kooky clip
Britney Spears displayed her vocal abilities as she belted out a rendition of Otis Redding's (Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay. The singer, 43, is famed for using autotune on her catologue of hits, but kept the audio of her latest Instagram post unedited as she filmed herself singing. Britney was clad in a semi-sheer nude dress as she danced erratically while singing the Sixties hit. She captioned the clip: 'His soul makes me believe in GOD AGAIN !!! God knows I can't sing like him !!! I wish !!!' Later on Tuesday, the Toxic hitmaker filmed herself spinning around while flashing her bottom in another sheer gown. Britney is fond of sharing various dancing videos online but recently caused confusion when she took to Instagram to claim she had adopted a baby. Last month, she announced that she had 'adopted a beautiful baby girl' named Lennon London Spears, which turned out to be a joke. An insider told Daily Mail she was simply 'trying to be funny' and garner a reaction. 'Britney was just having fun when she announced that she would be adopting a girl,' our source confirmed. 'She did it for a laugh, she isn't adopting a daughter, and it also doesn't mean anything else like her getting a dog. She was just trying to be funny and see who would bite.' Britney shares sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18, with Kevin Federline, but the family have a famously fractious relationship. The hitmaker is reportedly working on her relationship with her Jayden, with whom she has recently reunited. 'Jayden is her rock right now and if there was ever anything that broke this bond Britney would be crushed,' the insider said. 'He is all she talks about. She is helping his career and providing for him financially. He is living large now.' In the past, Jayden, has admitted to being embarrassed by his mother's social media posts. 'It's like almost as if she has to put something on Instagram to get attention,' he told ITV in 2022. 'This has gone on for years and years and years, and there's a high chance that this is never going to really stop, but I'm hoping for me, maybe she will.' Britney has been largely estranged from her sons who moved to Hawaii with their father in 2023. Following their divorce in 2007 – and a highly-publicized mental breakdown that led to Britney being placed under a 13-year conservatorship by her father Jamie Spears – Kevin was granted sole custody of the two boys in 2008. Over 17 years, she paid more than an estimated $5 million in child support, but those monthly payments came to an end last September when Jayden turned 18. Two months later, it was reported that Jayden was 'back in California' where Briney lives, though it was unclear if he was staying at her $7.4 million estate in Thousand Oaks.

Film adaptation receives 0% Rotten Tomatoes score
Ice Cube 's film adaptation of War of the Worlds has received a devastating 0 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes following negative reviews from critics. The science fiction thriller, a modern spin on HG Wells' 1898 novel, stars Ice Cube and Eva Longoria and was released last week on Amazon Prime Video. Critics, including Peter Debruge of Variety, described the film as a 'feature-length commercial for all things Amazon' due to its extensive product placement. The movie has been widely criticised for its flat performances, uninspired direction, and a lack of narrative depth by both critics and audiences. Despite the overwhelmingly negative reception, the film is currently the most-watched movie globally on Amazon Prime Video, according to FlixPatrol.
