Ace Family YouTuber Catherine Paiz breaks silence over cheating scandal after Austin McBroom break-up

Daily Mail4 days ago

Ace Family YouTuber Catherine Paiz broke down in tears while addressing her ex-husband Austin McBroom's cheating scandals in a new interview.
After six years of marriage and building a YouTube empire with over 18 million subscribers, Catherine, 34, and Austin, 33, who share three kids, announced their divorce in 2024.
The influencer delved into their split during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she spoke about the moment she discovered Austin was unfaithful while she was pregnant.
At one point her voice cracked as she broke into tears telling host Alex Cooper, 'You never cheat on the person you love.'
Seemingly speaking of the number of times Austin allegedly cheated, she quipped, 'I don't remember exactly the first, there were just so many' before saying she found out about 'twenty.'

Catherine said she found out about his infidelity after discovering a text from another woman on his phone, while she was pregnant.
'I grabbed the phone. This long text comes through "If you really love your wife." I was like yelling, screaming, "Tell me please, please just tell me who that was. I feel so stupid, just tell me. I'm having a baby, please just tell me."'
Catherine then adamantly denied Austin's claim that she had given him permission as long as he didn't 'embarrass' her, stating, 'I never, ever, ever said that.'
'I would never want my kids to think that is okay, to cheat on your husband or your wife.'
Breaking into tears, she vowed, 'And I will make sure that I raise them, and that they know that they never, ever do that. Because that is so wrong. And you never cheat on the person you love.'
At one point Catherine recalled feeling like she was being 'gaslighted.'
She questioned, 'Is he telling the truth? Am I just being all in my head?'
'I was so afraid to say "I'm an idiot." I just didn't see it,' she added.
Catherine also claimed: 'I never heard him say the words "I cheated" until about a week ago.'
When Alex questioned, 'How many more did you find out about?' Catherine replied, 'There was 20 or something.'
Catherine's full interview is set to air on Wednesday.

On May 11, Catherine announced her memoir Dolores: My Journey Home: Finding Myself Beyond the ACE Family. The book, which also touched on Austin's alleged infidelity, will be released on July 1st.
McBroom didn't deny the infidelity accusations included in the book, but he asserted in a lengthy Snapchat video that Paiz was aware of his behavior throughout their marriage and that they stayed together for years despite it.
Austin has previously been accused of cheating on Catherine multiple times.
In 2021 he denied the claims, after YouTuber Tana Mongeau accused him of cheating on his then wife.
At the time Austin called Tana a 'clout chaser.'
The ACE Family, consisting of Austin, Catherine, and their three children — Elle, eight, Alaia, five, and Steel, four — rose to YouTube fame for their family vlogs.
However, in January 2024, Catherine and Austin announced their divorce.
In their statements, both Catherine and Austin affirmed they had 'mutually agreed' to the split and would co-parent their young children.
In her statement Catherine wrote about feeling 'liberated' while Austin called the divorce the 'hardest decision of my life.'
Catherine wrote that their 'paths as a couple have shifted and has created challenges that are irreconcilable.'
'As heartbreaking as this is, I also feel liberated,' she stated.
'I have spent the past few years prioritizing my children and honoring my commitment to my family; all the while I seemed to be losing myself and my own personal happiness.'
Meanwhile Austin wrote, 'We created one of the greatest stories, almost a decade together, so many memories, so many accomplishments but every book comes to end.'
'And now we will be writing a new book as separate authors.'
The last video on the former couple's channel was uploaded in June 2023.
Catherine has since moved on with tattoo artist and painter Igor Ten.

San Diego Padres fans in vicious brawl with brutal punches thrown in the stands during MLB game

Several San Diego Padres fans got into a wild brawl in the right field bleachers at Petco Park on Saturday night during the team's 5-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Padres played one of their worst games of the year in front of the home crowd, only amassing two hits against one of the worst teams in baseball. Those in the crowd gave those in San Diego home entertainment, although it is unclear the men involved in the melee started talking. The first punch is thrown by a fan in a white Fernando Tatis Jr. jersey, sending a fan back in a gray shirt. That sparked the choas with a Padres fan in a brown Manny Machado jersey punching a fourth fan, who gets taken off his feet. The fans in the white and brown jerseys come together, with the San Diego supporter in the white getting the best of the exchange with a right-hand blow. The white-clad fan also lands another punch on the man in gray before re-engaging with the fan in brown. The men square off for several more seconds before they are separated. They continue to yell at each other for around a half-minute before the video cuts off. Stadium security and police are not seen in the video, with other patrons at the game being the one to break up the melee. It does not appear any of the fans suffered major injuries or bled during the chaos despite several haymakers being thrown. San Diego baseball fans hoping for a turnaround on the field got their wish on Sunday with a 6-4 win over Pittsburgh.

Former Biden official Matthew Miller says he believes Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza

A senior official in former president Joe Biden's administration has told Sky News that he has no doubt that Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza. Speaking to the Trump 100 podcast, Matthew Miller, who, as a state department spokesman, was the voice and face of the US government's foreign policy under Mr Biden, revealed disagreements, tensions and challenges within the former administration. In the wide-ranging conversation, he said: • It was "without a doubt true that Israel has committed war crimes"; • That Israeli soldiers were not being "held accountable"; • That there were "disagreements all along the way" about how to handle policy; • And that he "would have wanted to have a better candidate" than Mr Biden for the 2024 election. Mr Miller served as the state department spokesman from 2023 until the end of Mr Biden's presidential term. From the podium, his job was to explain and defend foreign policy decisions - from Ukraine to Gaza. "Look, one of the things about being a spokesperson is you're not a spokesperson for yourself. You are a spokesperson for the president, the administration, and you espouse the positions of the administration. And when you're not in the administration, you can just give your own opinions." Now out of office, he offered a candid reflection of a hugely challenging period in foreign policy and US politics. 1:37 Gaza disagreements Asked about Gaza, he revealed there were "small and big" disagreements within the Biden administration over the US-Israeli relationship. "There were disagreements all along the way about how to handle policy. Some of those were big disagreements, some of those were little disagreements," he said. Pushed on rumours that then- secretary of state Antony Blinken had frustrations with Mr Biden over both Gaza and Ukraine policy, Mr Miller hinted at the tensions. 👉 Follow Trump100 on your podcast app 👈 "I'll probably wait and let the secretary speak for himself… but I will say, speaking generally, look, it is true about every senior official in government that they don't win every policy fight that they enter into. And what you do is you make your best case to the president. "The administration did debate, at times, whether and when to cut off weapons to Israel. You saw us in the spring of 2024 stop the shipment of 2,000-pound bombs to Israel because we did not believe they would use those in a way that was appropriate in Gaza." Through the spring and summer of 2024, the Biden administration was caught between its bedrock policy of the unconditional defence of its ally Israel and the reality of what that ally was doing in Gaza, with American weapons. Mr Mill said: "There were debates about whether to suspend other arms deliveries, and you saw at times us hold back certain arms while we negotiated the use of those arms… "But we found ourselves in this really tough position, especially in that time period when it really came to a head… We were at a place where - I'm thinking of the way I can appropriately say this - the decisions and the thinking of Hamas leadership were not always secret to the United States and to our partners." He continued: "And it was clear to us in that period that there was a time when our public discussion of withholding weapons from Israel, as well as the protests on college campuses in the United States, and the movement of some European countries to recognise the state of Palestine - appropriate discussions, appropriate decisions - protests are appropriate - but all of those things together were leading the leadership of Hamas to conclude that they didn't need to agree to a ceasefire, they just needed to hold out for a little bit longer, and they could get what they always wanted." "Now, the thing that I look back on, that I will always ask questions of myself about, and I think this is true for others in government, is in that intervening period between the end of May and the middle of January [2025], when thousands of Palestinians were killed, innocent civilians who didn't want this war, had nothing to do with it, was there more that we could, could have done to pressure the Israeli government to agree to that ceasefire? I think at times there probably was," Mr Miller said. Asked for his view on the accusation of genocide in Gaza, he said: "I don't think it's a genocide, but I think it is without a doubt true that Israel has committed war crimes." Challenged on why he didn't make these points while in government, he said: "When you're at the podium, you're not expressing your personal opinion. You're expressing the conclusions of the United States government. The United States government had not concluded that they committed war crimes, still have not concluded [that]." He went on to offer a qualification to his accusation. "There are two ways to think about the commission of war crimes," he said. "One is if the state has pursued a policy of deliberately committing war crimes or is acting recklessly in a way that aids and abets war crimes. Is the state committing war crimes? "That, I think, is an open question. I think what is almost certainly not an open question is that there have been individual incidents that have been war crimes where Israeli soldiers, members of the Israeli military, have committed war crimes." The Israeli government continues to strongly deny all claims that it has committed war crimes in Gaza. On Joe Biden's election hopes Mr Miller also offered a candid reflection on the suitability of Mr Biden as a candidate in the 2024 US election. While Mr Biden initially ran to extend his stay in the White House, he stepped aside, with Kamala Harris taking his place as the Democratic candidate. "Had I not been inside the government, had I been outside the government acting kind of in a political role, of course, I would have wanted to have a better candidate," he said. "It's that collective action problem where no one wants to be the first to speak out and stand up alone. You stand up by yourself and get your head chopped off, stand up together, you can take action. "But there was never really a consensus position in the party, and there was no one that was willing to stand up and rally the party to say this isn't going to work. "I don't think there is anyone on the White House staff, including the most senior White House staffers, who could have gone to Joe Biden in the spring of 2023 or at any time after that and told him: 'Mr President, you are not able to do the duties of this job. And you will not win re-election.' He would have rejected that outright." 1:00 On the Donald Trump presidency so far, he offered a nuanced view. He described Mr Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff as "an extremely capable individual" but expressed his worry that he was being manipulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. "I know the people in the Biden administration who worked with him during the first negotiations for Gaza ceasefire thought that he was capable. "I think at times he doesn't know what he doesn't know. And you see that especially in the negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, where you see him go into a meeting with Vladimir Putin and come out spouting Russian propaganda… I think he would benefit from a little diplomatic savvy and some experienced diplomats around him." He continued: "But I do think it's extremely important that when people sit down with an envoy of the United States they know that that envoy speaks for the President of the United States and it is very clear that Witkoff has that and that's an extremely valuable asset to bring to the table." On the months and years ahead under Mr Trump, Mr Miller said: "The thing that worries me most is that Donald Trump may squander the position that the United States has built around the world over successive administrations of both parties over a course of decades. "I don't think most Americans understand the benefits that they get to their daily lives by the United States being the indispensable nation in the world.

Report claims Joe Biden got 'lost' in his own White House closet

Former President Joe Biden got lost in his own closet at the White House, a Secret Service whistleblower claimed to MAGA Senator Josh Hawley. The Missouri Republican shared the intel with Fox News host Sean Hannity Friday, adding to the ongoing speculation that Biden's administration worked to cover-up his declining mental state. 'He [the Secret Service member] told me that Biden used to get lost in his closet in the mornings at the White House,' Hawley explained, adding that his source was assigned to Biden while he was the president. 'I mean, the guy literally stumbling around in the White House residence couldn't find his way out of his own closet. The president of the United States. I mean, this is outrageous. We were lied to.' Hawley said the alarming claims were made to him while he was investigating the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump during his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He went on to criticize the ongoing scandal that the Biden administration worked to cover-up his cognitive decline, specifically with the use of an autopen - a device that automatically replicates a person's signature. 'We need to find out who actually signed off, so to speak, on all those autopen signatures and all of those pardons and all of those clemencies,' Hawley said, adding that it amounts to 'one of the worst constitutional crises of our country's history.' contacted Biden's team for comment. The senator's comments come just after Biden announced he was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer, and amid the mounting backlash of CNN anchor Jake Tapper's new book that claims to blow the lid off of the White House campaign that hid Biden's health decline from the American people. His office revealed his frightening diagnosis on May 18, adding that it is an 'aggressive form' of prostate cancer. The cancer has metastasized and spread to his bones, a statement on the 82-year-old's diagnosis revealed. The announcement came just one week after reports revealed that a 'small nodule' was found on Biden's prostate that needed 'further evaluation.' Just as his health battle was revealed, Tapper's new book, 'Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,' co-authored with Axios' Alex Thompson, hit the shelves. Early reviews of the book, which was released May 20, were quickly overshadowed by allegations that Tapper himself was part of the cover up and is now seemingly trying to rewrite history. People have gone on to label Tapper a fraud and 'phony' over his self-righteous rants about the former president's health cover-up, claiming that his role as an anchor at a left-leaning network helped conceal the alleged secret. 'He was and still is down for the cause. We are not fooled or amused,' a user wrote. 'No retractions, no apologies, and no consequences for those who pushed a false narrative for years,' another stated. Someone else commented: 'Bull[expletive], he's lying. He knew all along that it was bull[expletive] and still carried the democrat party's water.' While facing a slew of backlash for his new book, Tapper recently sat down with Thompson on Stephen A. Smith's show Wednesday to address the heat he's been facing. Smith specifically asked the pair what they think about people calling the book a 'money grab,' leading Tapper to say that 'very few people write books to make money.' 'No, our only agenda was to find out what happened. Our only agenda was to write this book,' Tapper replied. 'In terms of the left it's a money grab, I mean that's not the case. It's not - this is, I don't want to get into where my money comes from. You know, CNN is my main job and that's where my main source of income, by far... Very few people write books to make money,' he babbled on. 'You write a book because you want to say something. You want to have a legacy, you want to uncover something, you have a message you want to get out there,' Tapper stated, adding 'I don't think people write books about Joe Biden to make money' as Thompson smiled. 'That's a good point,' Smith chimed in. On Tuesday, President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law Laura Trump revealed that Tapper called her to apologize for a condescending on-air dispute in 2020 where he dismissed her concerns about Biden's mental acuity. Laure revealed the phone call on Fox but said his apology was 'a little too late' -conveniently taking place just weeks before the publication of his tell-all book about the very topic. One of the most prominent examples of this was back in October 2020, when Lara pointed to a speech of Biden's and said: 'What we see on stage is a very clear cognitive decline.' Tapper immediately interjected, savaging her with a haughty response that she had 'absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody's cognitive decline' and accusing her of instead 'mocking his stutter.' While Tapper has publicly apologized for his response and admitted a sense of 'humility' over being proven wrong, Lara has now revealed he reached out to her privately two months ago. 'Jake Tapper called me about two months ago and he said "I have this book coming out,"' she told Fox News host Laura Ingraham. Tapper told her 'I know everybody is saying I should apologize to you. I plan, when the book comes out, to go on TV and say you were right and I was wrong.' While she appreciated the acknowledgment and that Tapper has since stuck to his word by apologizing publicly, she noted that 'it feels a little bit too late to me.' On Friday, Biden hit back at Tapper's book revelations after a female reporter asked about his mental capabilities. 'You can see that I was mentally incompetent and I can't walk and I can beat the hell out of both of them,' he joked to a female reporter, leaning down to speak to her after speaking at a service in honor of Memorial Day. The former president down played revelations from the new book and chatter from Democrats that he should have never run for re-election, saying: 'Why didn't they run against me then? I could have beaten them. I don't have any regrets,' he added. The remarks were the first ones Biden made since his cancer diagnosis. His voice sounded hoarse as he spoke to reporters at Veterans Park in Wilmington, Del. He attends the ceremony to honor veterans every year. He and his family are optimistic about his diagnosis, Biden said, adding he was taking pills as part of his treatment. 'The expectation is we're going to be able to beat this,' he said. 'It's not in any organ.... my bones are strong. I feel good.'
