Elon Musk's Daughter Discovered She Had A Half-Sibling Through Reddit, And The Story Is Absolutely Unhinged

Buzz Feed19-02-2025
This week, in another news cycle of chaos, Elon Musk's estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, went viral on TikTok for sharing she learned the news about some of her new siblings through social media.
After conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair announced last week that she gave birth to Elon's 13th child, Vivian shared a TikTok writing that this was not the first, but the second time she found out about a potential sibling via Reddit.
"Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I found out I had half-siblings through Reddit, I'd have two nickels... which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?" she wrote over a short clip.
In another post on Threads, Vivian shared that she has actually found out about six of her half-siblings through the Internet. "'I don't know how many siblings I have' goes really hard on 2 truths and a lie though I will admit," she said.

When asked which platform was the worst to find out on, she replied, "r/rupaulsdragrace I am being so deadass right now."
In a follow-up TikTok, she shared the story. "Storytime, I found out about the existence of my half-brother through reddit.com/r/rupaulsdragrace," she began. "This is a real thing that actually happened to me, and if it sounds insane, it is."
She proceeded to share how exactly she found out about Elon Musk and Grimes' latest child — and her new sibling. "I'm going to paint you a scene. The year is 2022, and at the time, me and Grimes, or as I know her, C, are not talking. We're not on bad terms; we're just not talking, as people do."
Vivian went on to explain that she was on the RuPaul Drag Race subreddit when she came across the news. "The specific day of, I didn't really have anything to do, so I was just scrolling on Reddit, and I'm a huge fan of Drag Race, so naturally, I was on the Drag Race subreddit. And what do I come across but none other than a tweet from season 2 and All Stars 2 contestant Tatianna," she said.
She continued, "I found this tweet that was crossposted onto the subreddit, and I had no idea of this at the time because no one thought to let me know. So at the moment, I'm just in complete shock, and I don't believe it, so I double-check it on the news, and it turns out it's actually fucking true, and I'm just the last one to find out about it."

She said, "This is a real thing that happened to me, girl. I found out about my half-brother because of the fucking same-parts drag queen, whomst we stan."
Vivian clarified, "This isn't to drag on C or anything. It kind of makes sense how this happened because, again, we were not really talking at the time, but I just think it's funny because... choices."
Vivian, who transitioned and legally changed her name to drop "Musk" in 2022, is one of Musk's children with his first wife, Justine Wilson. Vivian has previously alluded to Musk being an absentee dad.
After Elon Musk went on a rant on X in July 2024 claiming, while deadnaming her, that he knew Vivian was "born gay and slightly autistic" because she liked musicals, amongst other bizarre claims, Vivian wrote, "This entire thing is completely made up and there's a reason for this. He doesn't know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn't there, and in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness."

She continued, "Obviously he can't say that, so I've been reduced to a happy little stereotype f*g-ing along to use at his discretion. I think that says alot about how he views queer people and children in general."
Vivian proceeded to defend her gender identity and then gave some... choice words about Musk, criticizing him for seeking validation "from an army of degenerate red-pilled incels and pick-mes who are quick to give it to him."
Anyhoo, finding out about your half-sibling, born to the richest man in the world, through the RuPaul Drag Race subreddit is truly one of the most unhinged things I've read in awhile. I'm glad Vivian can find humor in all the mess, and all I can do is wish her well.

Inside the lucrative business of social media 'clipping.'

Posted Aug 13, 2025 at 4:11 PM UTC Inside the lucrative business of social media 'clipping.' The Wall Street Journal interviewed several 'clippers,' or the people who dice up longer videos into short, grabby clips that get posted to accounts across Instagram and TikTok. One person, whose clipping business earns $20,000 to $30,000 per month, told the WSJ that 'the only way to be famous in today's internet world is with clips.' Classic Novels First Lines Trivia — BuzzFeed Quizzes

If you've read literally anything I've posted before, this won't be a shock: I'm a huge bookworm. I read like the world's ending and have somehow converted half my community into fellow book nerds. My Indigo Plus (shoutout to Canadians) pays for itself by mid-January, and Goodreads is one of my most-used apps. And yes, while I fully support audiobooks — because sometimes a bitch needs to make dinner and power through a slow classic you feel morally obligated to read — I still can't get on board with e-readers. I either want the dramatic performance in my ears, or I need that paper-smell-in-the-face experience. No in-between. Whether you're word-obsessed like me or barely made it through this intro, it's time to test your classic lit knowledge. Let's start on page one, with the very first sentence... Here's a fun fact: Jane Austen published her novels anonymously, credited only as 'A Lady.' Even her own family didn't know she wrote Pride and Prejudice for a while. Pretty dope, honestly. I dream of anonymously dropping a bestseller, casually buying a house, and letting my family spiral into 'Did you win the lottery?' theories. Not that Jane could've done that — patriarchy and all — but secret fame? Kind of rock 'n' roll. I literally just got butterflies watching this GIF. I need to walk away and catch my breath. The chemistry is unbearable. And for more fun quizzes, make sure you follow BuzzFeed Canada on TikTok and Instagram!

A husband who was initially skeptical about getting poodles has become a devoted fan, captivating hearts across the internet. Shannon Mayhew (@doggroomershan), 27, from Norwich, U.K., shared a video of her husband enjoying cuddles with one of their large curly-haired pups, amassing 404,000 likes and 4.3 million views on TikTok. "My husband thought they'd never be as good as our Labradors at working, and their hair looks a bit silly. But now he's completely converted and loves them so much as their temperament is to die for and they love to work," she told Newsweek. The couple are proud owners of Drake, 3, and Teal, 1, who excel in agility training and serve as gun dogs. A split image of the husband cuddling the poodle. Standard poodles were originally bred as water retrievers, making them highly effective gun dogs, according to The Spruce Pets. Their keen intelligence and strong swimming abilities enable them to retrieve game from water and land efficiently. Hunters value them for their versatility and trainability, often using them in various hunting scenarios. Despite their elegant appearance, poodles are hardworking and dedicated in the field, showcasing the breed's historical roots as functional hunting companions. TikTokers were quick to react and expressed similar affectionate experiences with their poodles. "Look all dogs love their owners. But poodles love humans. They have a studied preference for bonding with humans over other dogs or animals," said Don. "The poodle paws are so real although mine likes to slam them into your face," shared another user. "I am not a couples expert but, I think that poodle is going for your husband," quipped another user. "Poodles are the most loving loyal dogs," shared another user. "Your husband ain't married to you he's married to the poodle," said Charlotte. "I have to warn everyone my poodle LOVES hugs. She will wrap her front legs around your neck or waist," said Marenna. "I'm always telling people how amazing they are! my childhood dog was a black standard poodle called Suzy an she was one Christmas ate half the turkey off the kitchen counter an somehow put the tinfoil back in place," said Lizzy. "Poodles need all of the attention," shared another user. Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share?
