Russell Wilson
and
Ciara
just lit up Instagram—and the New York skyline—with a jaw-dropping family photo that's got the internet talking. Standing in front of the Empire State Building, the couple posed with their four kids in coordinated 3Brand tracksuits, each piece stamped with confidence and purpose.
But this wasn't just a sweet family snapshot. It was a carefully timed move blending fashion, football, and a bold new chapter in the Big Apple.
A caption that sparked a cultural moment
Wilson's post came with just four words: 'Building a Legacy @3brand.' Simple, sharp, and layered with meaning. The caption did more than promote the outfit—it told the world the Wilsons are here to build something far beyond the game. It spoke to generational ambition: from raising confident kids to launching a youth-driven brand that's already gaining Marvel-level attention.

Fans went wild for the look, with one viral comment reading, 'Win ate this whole post.' Clearly, the Wilson kids aren't just tagging along—they're part of the vision. And 3Brand, the brand tied to son Win and Russell's iconic number 3, is quickly turning into a cultural force.
From Athleisure to the Avengers: @3Brand lands in Marvel's Ironheart
What started as a kids' athleisure line has exploded into a full-blown cultural player. @3Brand gear recently made a surprise cameo in Marvel's Ironheart series, worn by the next-gen heroes of the MCU.
That kind of screen time puts @3Brand on the map—and into the wardrobes of a younger, hype-driven audience.
With Nike and Kidpik collabs under its belt, the brand is expanding from fashion into media and influence. Its core is still kid-forward and motivational—but now it's carrying cinematic weight. Russell and Ciara aren't just brand ambassadors. They're hands-on creators, and this Marvel moment proves they know how to position their legacy in front of the next generation.
NYC Is no longer just a backdrop—It's the Wilsons' new empire
Behind the Empire State photo lies an even bigger headline: Russell Wilson is now a New York Giant. In March 2025, he inked a one-year deal worth up to $21 million, officially bringing his talents—and family—to MetLife Stadium.
According to Wilson, NYC felt like the right fit, especially with rising star Malik Nabers in the offense and a chance to return to the stadium where he once won a Super Bowl. As he told reporters, 'I came here because of him,' referring to Nabers' electric playmaking.

Now, with Ciara diving deeper into music and skincare in the city, and their kids gaining media spotlight, NYC is more than just a move—it's the Wilsons' empire headquarters. In one photo and one powerful caption, the Wilson family captured their moment—and launched a new chapter. The Giants got their quarterback. Marvel got their merch. And fashion? It just got a legacy brand with real game.

‘Blade' update: Kevin Feige explains delays, says Mahershala Ali's role needs to be 'insanely great'

Marvel's 'Blade' movie has faced many delays since it was first announced in 2019, but Mahershala Ali is still set to play the lead role. Marvel Studios head recently explained why the film hasn't moved forward, the team wants to make sure it's truly special and not rushed. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Kevin Feige talks about 'Blade' delays Marvel boss Kevin Feige has finally shared what's going on with the long-delayed 'Blade' movie. Despite multiple setbacks, he confirmed that two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali is still committed to playing the lead role, the vampire hunter made famous by Wesley Snipes in the late '90s and early 2000s. Reason behind the delay Feige said the delays happened because Marvel didn't want to rush into production just to release another movie. 'We didn't want to just throw a leather jacket on Mahershala and have him start killing vampires. It needed to feel special,' Feige explained. 'At that point, we started taking a step back and saying, 'We'll only move forward with something if it feels truly great.' And at that time, it didn't.' He also mentioned a funny side note that costumes made for an earlier version of 'Blade' were given to filmmaker Ryan Coogler for his own vampire-themed project called 'Sinners'. 'Ryan asked if he could use the costumes and we said, 'Sure, go ahead,'' Feige joked. 'He's a good friend.' But the real issue, Feige admitted, was Marvel's attempt to produce more content when launched its streaming platform. This led to Marvel stretching itself too thin. 'We were told to make more stuff. And we tried. But that meant we sometimes picked quantity over quality, and we always said we'd never let that happen.' Tired of too many ads? go ad free now 'Blade' was first announced in 2019 and was supposed to release in November 2023. However, it ran into multiple problems. Its first director, Bassam Tariq, left the project in 2022, just two months before filming was to start. A new director, Yann Demange, later joined but also exited in June 2024. Now, there's no director attached to the film, but Ali has made it clear, he's still ready. At a recent red-carpet event, he told Variety, 'Call Marvel. Let them know I'm ready.' Over the years, several writers have worked on 'Blade'. Feige said there were at least three or four versions of the story including two that were set in the past. But now, they've decided the movie will take place in the modern day, which is also why they gave away the old costumes. As for 'Sinners', many fans hoped Coogler would direct Blade, but Feige shut down those rumours. Coogler is busy working on Black Panther 3, which is currently in development, though no release date has been shared yet. Looking back, Feige admitted he has mixed feelings about announcing 'Blade' back in 2019 at San Diego Comic-Con. 'In hindsight, maybe we shouldn't have announced it so early. But that's how we used to do things, announce it and then make it happen.' He added that the last few years have brought many unexpected challenges: the pandemic, Hollywood strikes, the loss of key actors, changing fan reactions, and problems like losing their main Kang actor, Jonathan Majors. 'We've had a lot of curveballs,' Feige said. Still, he made it clear that Marvel wants to get 'Blade' right and they won't move forward until they do.

Marvel's future plans: X-Men to be recast, new Iron Man hinted after ‘Secret Wars' reset

Marvel is getting ready to make big changes after Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027. Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios has confirmed that the X-Men will be recast with new actors, and even famous characters like Iron Man and Captain America may get fresh faces in the future. Instead of calling it a reboot, Marvel is calling this a "reset" to start new stories while still respecting the old ones. Marvel Plans Big Changes After 'Avengers: Secret Wars' Marvel Studios is planning a fresh start for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after the release of 'Avengers: Secret Wars' in 2027. Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, recently confirmed that after this movie, new actors will take over the roles of the X-Men and even iconic characters like Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Steve Rogers (Captain America) will eventually be recast. X-Men actors in 'Avengers: Doomsday' Before that happens, fans will get one more chance to see some of the original X-Men actors in 'Avengers: Doomsday,' which is set for release in 2026. Actors like Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), and others from the older X-Men films will return briefly. Stewart had also appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022, and Kelsey Grammer (Beast) showed up in the post-credits scene of 'The Marvels' in 2023. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Why this MBA won't break the bank SRM Online Learn More Undo After 'Secret Wars,' however, Marvel will start introducing new actors to play both familiar and never-before-seen mutant characters. This approach follows a similar path to what happened in the Marvel comics after the 2015 Secret Wars storyline, where different timelines collided and reshaped the Marvel universe. Kevin Feige's explanation Feige explained that this isn't about ending everything, it's about creating something new. While Avengers: Endgame was about wrapping up past stories, Secret Wars will be about opening new doors. He prefers to call it a 'reset' rather than a 'reboot,' saying the word 'reboot' sounds too drastic and confusing. He added that this 'reset' will officially begin with the upcoming X-Men movie. He also talked about how the X-Men have always been about young people who feel different and don't fit in and that's the kind of story Marvel wants to tell with this new version. Interestingly, Feige also hinted that more Marvel characters will be recast in the future including the beloved Iron Man and Captain America. While it's tough to imagine anyone replacing Robert Downey Jr. or Chris Evans, Feige pointed out that other franchises like James Bond and Superman have done the same thing successfully. He praised David Corenswet, the new Superman, as an example of how change can work well. As for Deadpool and Wolverine, played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Feige didn't confirm anything specific but did say that there could still be more fun stories with those characters in the future.
