Luxury accessories membership club Vivrelle announced on Wednesday the closing of a $62 million Series C funding round led by Protagonist.
Vivrelle said it plans to use the funding to expand its showroom footprint to new U.S. markets, diversify its product assortment, and develop new technologies.
'Since founding Vivrelle in 2018, we've remained committed to providing our members with unparalleled access to luxury accessories and curated experiences that elevate everyday life,' said Blake Geffen, founder and CEO of Vivrelle.
'This investment represents an exciting new chapter—enabling us to scale operations, deepen our inventory, and leverage emerging technologies, including AI, as we build a truly 360-degree luxury membership experience.'
Vivrelle is a first-of-its-kind membership club that provides access to coveted designer pieces, ranging from handbags to jewellery. Over the past seven years, Vivrelle has continued to grow and expand.
Key milestones include the launch of new membership tiers, the opening of a 14,000-square-foot showroom in New York City, a multi-city hospitality partnership with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts (with the next location launching this summer in Austin), and the debut of its first retail concept over Memorial Day Weekend in Bridgehampton, New York.
'As consumers shift away from traditional ownership models, the luxury accessories market is ripe for disruption—and Vivrelle has been at the forefront of this evolution,' added Harry Hurst, founder & managing partner at Protagonist.
'We're excited to bring Protagonist's expertise in scaling category-defining tech brands to support Vivrelle in making high-end fashion more accessible and experiential than ever before.'
In 2022, Vivrelle closed a $35 million series B funding round, led by 3L Capital, with participation from Origin Ventures, Chapford Capital Group, Plus Capital, actresses, Lily Collins and Nina Dobrev, and personality and entrepreneur Morgan Stewart McGraw.
