Demi Lovato marries songwriter fiancé after first engagement heartbreak

Demi Lovato and songwriter Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes are officially married after walking down the aisle in a gorgeous ceremony in California this weekend
Demi Lovato has tied the knot with her songwriter fiancé Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes in a gorgeous California ceremony this weekend. The 32-year-old former Disney star looked out of this world in a custom Vivienne Westwood gown, which featured a corset bodice and smooth satin train, for her special day.
The star, 32, styled her hair into elegant waves with a lengthy veil pinned to the back of her hair as it cascaded down to the floor. She rocked full glam makeup as she tied the knot at around 4pm. Speaking to Vogue, Demi said she was always a fan of Vivienne Westwood's designs and kept 'coming back to them' when deciding on her wedding dress.

The brand sent over a team to Los Angeles from London to create the dress and when she finally got to wear it, she revealed: "I love everything about the dress."
She even rocked another Vivienne dress for the reception later that day. Speaking about her second dress, Demi said to the outlet: "There was so much attention to detail on the reception dress beading. The pearl detail and draping is such a special element, and each strand was draped and attached by hand, one by one. It's a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special."
Sorry Not Sorry singer Demi has been in a relationship with 34-year-old Canadian musician Jordan, who performs under the name Jutes, since January 2022. They became engaged in December the following year.
Demi revealed she was engaged back in December 2023. She wrote in a social media post at the time, showing off her engagement ring: "I'm still speechless! Last night was the best night of my life, and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic.
"My love, I'm beyond excited to marry you. Every day I've spent with you has been a dream come true and I can't wait to love and cherish you forever. Here's to the rest of our lives. I love you baby!'"

On Valentine's Day earlier this year, Demi shared her excitement about marrying Jutes, writing: "Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that.
"I'm obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can't wait to grow old with you and start a family together. Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life. I love you honey!!!"
Prior to her relationship with the songwriter, she was in a whirlwind romance with actor Max Ehrich - who she was involved with in 2020. They enjoyed an intensive romance during the pandemic, quarantining together in March 2020, becoming engaged that July, before abruptly splitting that September.

In 2021, she revealed the engagement gave her a 'false sense of security.' She said to Entertainment Weekly: "I really had myself fooled, because it was the safe and expected thing/ Obviously, I cared deeply about the person, but there was something inside of me that was like, 'I have to prove to the world that I'm okay'.
"I just don't need an object on my finger to make me feel like I've got my s**t together. It looks like stability, but it doesn't mean that it is. And I don't actually grow through stability. I find that I like living not in chaos or crisis, but in fluidity."

Here's Where You've Seen The Cast Of Ginny And Georgia Before

Our favourite mother-daughter duo Ginny and Georgia have returned to our screens for a third season, and this time around it's as addictive as ever. As with previous seasons, we can expect plenty more mouther-daughter conflicts, flirting, sex, amazing houses and, of course, murder. 'Season 3 is our most ambitious and explosive season yet,' the show's creator Sarah Lampert old Netflix's Tudum. 'Going into it, we knew our core driving force isn't the plot twists and turns, but the emotional truth of these two women. We care about these characters, they are messy and complicated and real, and that's why we're invested in the wild season they're about to go through.' Season three picks up after Georgia was arrested over the killing of Tom Fuller, and deals with Georgia's murder trial. Everything is turned upside down in Georgia's world as the season wears on, and she begins to prepare for a life in prison. But the end of Episode nine throws all of that into question... Georgia in the present day is played by Brianne Howey. She is best known for her role as Georgia, but since the series launched in 2021 she's also starred as 'Molly Turner' in the Farrelly brothers holiday comedy Dear Santa and as Happy Madison in the Netflix film Kinda Pregnant. Speaking about her character in this season, Howey told Netflix's Tudum 'Georgia is definitely pushed to her limits this season, and she has to survive scenarios she's never had to survive before'' continuing 'Georgia now has to be a survivor with less masks because all of her secrets are out.' Troubled teenager Ginny is played by Antonia Gentry. She is also best known for her role in Ginny and Georgia, although in 2018, she played Jasmine in the romantic comedy feature film Candy Jar. She also has a starring role in the 2024 coming of age comedy Prom Dates. This season, Gentry told Tudum that 'We were able to see a new side of Ginny where she's really coming into her own, and accepting her decisions and standing by them, and making hard choices, but not being riddled with guilt or shame.' Matt Press, often referred to as just 'press' in the show, is played by Canadian born actor Damian Romeo. He started acting around the age of 9, and performed in theatre, cementing his lifelong desire to become an actor. He was described as a 'jerk' on the first two series, and it seems this time around is no different. According to Netflix, we can expect to see more 'taunting remarks' to Ginny about her mum's arrest, and mistreating Abby. PI Gabriel Cordova is a private investigator hired to surveil Georgia, who becomes Nick's boyfriend while undercover as 'Jesse.' He's played by Filipino-Canadian actor Alex Mallari Jr, who is best known for his roles in the TV series Dark Matter and the film The Adam Project alongside Ginny and Georgia. According to Netflix, this season will see Cordova shed his false identity, while his 'vendetta amps up' during Georgia's trial.

Bella and Gigi Hadid's mum ends engagement after ex's secret daughter discovery

Yolanda Hadid has reportedly called time on her six year relationship with Joseph Jingoli after previously gushing over him and revealing they secretly got engaged in 2022 Gigi and Bella Hadid's mum has called off her engagement from long-term partner Joseph Jingoli. Yolanda Hadid, 61, and her now ex-fiance had been engaged for six years before deciding to end things. The decision comes after it was revealed her ex-husband, Mohamed Hadid, had secret fathered another daughter. It was revealed the supermodel siblings also had a 23-year-old half-sister and had been getting to know her over the last two years. ‌ The secret child, called Aydan, had been socialising with the family. Sisters Gigi, 30, and Bella, 28, went on to call her a "cherished," "unexpected" and "beautiful addition to our family". ‌ Gigi and Bella's parents, Yolanda and Mohamed had been married between 1994 and 2000. As well as their daughters, they also welcomed son Anwar, 25. Following their relationship, Yolanda tied the knot again in 2011. She married music producer David Foster, but their time was also cut short, with the pair going the separate ways in 2017. Despite he latest relationship ending, she is said to have remained friends with Joseph. An insider told People the duo "remain friends and have nothing but fond memories of their time together". In 2020, she had gushed over the thought of tying the knot again. In a social media post marking their anniversary, she said at the time: "'All my life I prayed for someone like you!!" She went on: "Thank you for being such a bright light in my life, the calm in my storm and for being the most honorable man that I 2 year anniversary Joey Jingoli, I love and appreciate you." ‌ Last summer, Yalonda - who has appeared on shows such as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - confessed Joseph popped the question to her in 2022. After keeping the proposal under wraps, she finally admitted Joseph asked for her hand in marriage during a loved-up trip to Holland. The pair had met in 2017 when Yolanda moved to Pennsylvania. The proposal was let slip during an unexpected interview with Architectural Digest who referred to her now ex as her long-term "fiancé". She often featured her daughters Bella and Gigi in episodes of the Real Housewives and in an interview with Vogue, Bella revealed that she felt pressured to alter her appearance due to the early onset of fame and living in her sister's shadow. ‌ Bella, who transitioned from reality TV to modelling, confessed that she had a nose job when she was just 14 and now regrets the decision. The revelation led fans to criticised Yolanda, accusing her of failing as a parent.

Mark Hamill has finally ruled out a return as Luke Skywalker. Can Star Wars survive without him?

Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker has been Star Wars' ultimate backup plan for at least half a decade. The original trilogy has faded into the distance, and the movies set in that galaxy far, far away have become so poor in recent years that we'd all rather watch Andor. But there was always the option of plugging in Hamill – a sort of human Star Wars USB stick, primed to conjure up 1970s vibes as required. Not quite getting your fill of Force nostalgia? Here's Luke tutoring Baby Yoda in The Book of Boba Fett. And here he is again, whinging about past mistakes in The Last Jedi. It may not quite have been Binary Sunset, or Yoda lifting the X-wing on Dagobah. But for a few shimmering, quite-possibly-digitally-retouched moments, it felt like we were back in the real Star Wars again. Back in 2023, I wrote about the weird emotional whiplash of falling for digi-Luke: the plasticky but strangely compelling CGI version of the Jedi master who turned up in those Disney+ TV shows like a hologram from a smoother-skinned age. At the time, Hamill had sounded lukewarm on returning to Star Wars, but left just enough ambiguity to keep the dream alive. That was all before this week's revelation, in an interview with that Hamill has definitively closed the book on ever playing Skywalker again. Not even as a Force Ghost – the role he had been tipped to play in the forthcoming, utterly dreadful sounding Daisy Ridley-led film about a new Jedi order. 'And by the way, when I disappeared in [The Last Jedi], I left my robes behind. And there's no way I'm gonna appear as a naked Force ghost,' said Hamill. He added: 'I had my time. I'm appreciative of that, but I really think they should focus on the future and all the new characters.' And you might think: fair enough. After nearly 50 years in and around a franchise that has de-aged, re-aged and resurrected him more times than Emperor Palpatine, the man has earned the right to float off into the Force unbothered. Hamill is now 73, and there comes a time in every Jedi's life when they must hang up their lightsaber, and hope that the studio doesn't resurrect them as a digital sock puppet 30 years later. For the man who will for ever be thought of as Luke Skywalker, that moment is now – and judging by his tone, not a moment too soon. I am not even secretly hoping for more. After all, that episode of The Mandalorian – you know the one – hinted at a whole new chapter. For a brief moment, it felt like Star Wars might finally fill in the blank pages of Luke's life between blowing up Death Stars and milking alien sea cows. Perhaps we'd get Star Wars: Jedi Academy, a kind of intergalactic Dead Poets Society. Maybe it would be terrible. Maybe it would be magnificent. Either way, it would have been something. But without Hamill, the grand plan of stitching together the post-Imperial timeline starts to wobble. Because the truth is, Skywalker had become the Mando-verse's narrative gaffer tape, holding together a sprawling mess of side quests, animated spin-offs and character revivals. Whenever things got too niche, in came Luke. His absence leaves a big, Jedi-shaped hole. You can't exactly call up Rey for a cameo in the Mando-timeline (she would still be a child, and the jury is decidedly out on whether Star Wars fans will even want to see her again after the debacle that was Rise of Skywalker). Leia and Obi-Wan have joined the blue-glow retirement club. Yoda has been replaced by a mini-me. Anakin long since turned to the dark side and died in the arms of a man he'd spent three films trying to kill. Luke's departure leaves us lost in space, drifting in cosmic purgatory, wondering what the future might hold now the franchise has burned through its last original-trilogy safety net. It's a strange place to be for long-term fans of the saga, yet finally we may be able to set ourselves on a new course. If it's one that is miraculously free of Death Stars, Palpatine clones and even sand, we might one day find ourselves thanking Hamill for making a decision we should probably all have made peace with long, long ago.
