Deepika Padukone's exit from Spirit
Deepika Padukone reportedly exited the project after the makers denied her request for an eight-hour workday. While working hours on set have become a hot topic among actors in the industry, a report by News18 stated that Deepika was dropped from the film due to her high fee and demands for a share in the film's profits. However, no official confirmation has been released by either Sandeep or Deepika regarding the matter.

Did you know Ahaan Panday was first cast opposite Ajay Devgn in a superhero film before 'Saiyaara'?

Ahaan Panday is off to a great start in his acting career, with 'Saiyaara' performing well at the box office. The Bollywood debutant managed to score an impressive Rs 20 crore box office debut. While all eyes are turned to the box office to see how well the film performs in its opening weekend, an interesting fact about the young actor has come to light. Did you know that Ahaan was originally set to debut in a big-budget superhero movie alongside Ajay Devgn? Ahaan's journey to stardom Ahaan, who plays an aspiring rockstar named Krish Kapoor in Mohit Suri's Saiyaara, started his career as an Assistant Director on YRF's Netflix series The Railway Men. But even before that, he was picked to star in a superhero film by Yash Raj Films. Superhero calling According to Bollywood Hungama, the film was planned as a grand multi-part superhero saga with Ahaan in the lead role and Ajay Devgn playing the villain. Manushi Chhillar was also part of the cast. A source had shared this news back in 2020, 'It's true that Ahaan Panday and Ajay Devgn will be seen together. Ajay plays the antagonist in this film, which promises to be a visually grand and exciting affair. It'll be a part of a superhero series and every part will have a new villain." COVID-19 Delays Ajay reportedly stepped away from the project due to scheduling conflicts caused by COVID-19 delays. With the film shelved, Ahaan changed direction and worked as an Assistant Director with Shiv Rawail on 'The Railway Men'. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like If you have a mouse, play this game for 1 minute Navy Quest Undo After 'The Railway Men' was released in November 2023, Ahaan shared an emotional post on Instagram, looking back on his time on set. Now, with 'Saiyaara', Ahaan finally steps into the spotlight, with the romantic musical that also features Aneet Padda in a key role. Coldplay's crazy concert moments: Astronomer CEO Andy Byron's 'Kiss Cam' incident to honoring Jasprit Bumrah

A 'Kiss Cam' would never be the same again (at least for Coldplay), after Andy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, Chief People Officer (HR Department), were accidentally exposed for having an alleged infidelity while being displayed. The video has been getting mixed reactions: some have sparked outrage for the workplace professionalism, and others have been sharing memes and blatantly mocking the duo. The 'that' incident happened at a Coldplay concert in Boston, which was part of their 'Music of the Spheres' tour. While Andy and Kristin would always be remembered by the fans, there have been other incidents that were either gushed over or laughed over. Let's take a look at the iconic moments from the concerts. Chris Martin 's fall In the preceding year, Chris Martin and his bandmates were performing at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. While he was addressing the audience, the 48-year-old was stepping back without looking behind, and bang! He fell into the open trapdoor of the stage, and fortunately, there were a couple of people from the crew standing inside the hold who caught him and assisted him in getting back up. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like AirSense 11 – Smart tech for deep sleep ResMed Buy Now Undo He said, 'That wasn't planned. Thank you for catching me so much. Thank you guys, holy s–t, that was a YouTube moment,' and indeed it was. The Jasprit Bumrah moment at Coldplay Chris Martin, being a fan of cricket, surprised the concertgoers at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai in January 2025 when he mentioned the prolific cricketer, Jasprit Bumrah. He joked about ending the concert early because Bumrah was waiting backstage and he could bowl to him. A couple of days later, when Coldplay was performing in Ahmedabad, Bumrah visited the concert, and Martin honoured him. 'O Jasprit Bumrah, my beautiful brother. The best bowler in the whole of cricket. We did not enjoy watching you destroy England, wicket after wicket,' referring to India's win against England. A 15-year-old sang with Chris Martin Chris Martin, the kind and generous musician, performed 'Everglow' with a 15-year-old, making his dream come true. As the vocalist sat in front of his piano, he held up a poster that read, "I manifested this moment. I'm ready for it. Can I play Everglow with you?' Well, the singer asked whether they could sing together. The 15-year-old was given the opportunity to play the piano, while Martin sat next to him. As he looked at the boy, the talented fan kept playing the tune during the concert in Mumbai. Honorary mention: Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot's awkward moment How can we ever forget this? The CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron, and the CPO, Kristin Cabot, were in each other's arms, and the camera panned towards them during the 'Kiss Cam' session. Making both of them startle, Cabot turned around and eventually left the frame, while Byron tried to hide behind a glass barricade. As a response, Martin joked, 'Either they're having an affair or they're just really shy." 'Oh s–t, I hope we didn't do something bad,' he added.

Exploring the Tamil man's obsession with the question 'Saaptiya?'

Texting has gone from a monthly top-up ritual for 100 text messages to the endless scroll of blue ticks and typing bubbles on the Internet. From the Blackberry era, where BBM was highly coveted, to today's WhatsApp chats, Instagram Direct Messages (DMs), and dating apps' in-app messaging features, texting has become the pulse of staying connected. In India, texting has always carried a certain cultural weight, especially when it comes to flirting. Back in the Nokia 1100 days, where love bloomed over missed calls and thumb stamina (remember pressing 4 three times to type I, 5 three times to type L, and so on?), texting was the safest way to express love without actually saying it. Now the tradition, for Gen Z and Millennials, lives on — with emojis, voice notes, and carefully crafted replies. Yet, one thing hasn't changed for Tamil men sliding into chats. The opener is almost always the same: 'Saaptiya?' (Did you eat?) or the respectful 'saapteengala?' Memes, centering around Tamil men's apparent inability to go past the ritualistic 'saaptiya?' and its follow-up 'enna saapta?', while speaking with their love interests, often flood our social media feeds. Some of them take it a step further, jokingly labelling them 'saaptiyasexuals' for their undying loyalty to this one phrase. Gen Z has even made it their own by adding their slang to it, calling it the 'Saaptiya Rizz'. Rizz, a slang in popular culture, is short for 'charisma' and is often used to describe a person's ability to flirt or charm others in romantic contexts.
