LAURINBURG, N.C. (WBTW) — Laurinburg police on Thursday released surveillance images of suspects wanted in an attempted robbery and theft investigation.
The department is hoping to identify the individuals involved in an attempted robbery and attempted vehicle theft at the Laurinburg Food Mart in the 1200 block of Produce Market Road. It happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Monday
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sgt. J. Cooke at 910-291-1750 or Scotland Crimestoppers by downloading the free mobile app P3Tips.com, going to the website www.scotlandcountycs.com or by calling 910-266-8146.

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Two people have been arrested by Florence County deputies after an armed robbery at a Florence-area hotel, the sheriff's office said Friday. Xavier Malik Blow, 38, was charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and criminal conspiracy. Keith Lavontai Cooper, 29, faces the same charges. Deputies responded at about 8 p.m. for a reported robbery at the Baymont Inn on Lucas Street, according to the sheriff's office. The two allegedly entered a room, presented a gun and took money from the victim. Both Blow and Cooper were booked into the Florence County Detention Center on Thursday and remain in jail without bond as of Friday afternoon. * * * Caleb is a digital producer at News13. Kansas City police ask for help locating man charged in 2024 killing

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police detectives are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for a 2024 deadly shooting. La'Relle D. Dennis, 23, is charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with second-degree murder, among other felonies, in connection with the killing of Treshaun Wright, 21. 3 Leavenworth school employees accused of failing to report child abuse Police said Wright was shot and killed inside a car in the area of East 82nd Street and Holmes Road in Kansas City in the early-morning hours of Aug. 25, 2024. The charges against Dennis were filed in February and a warrant was issued for his arrest at that time. Dennis is described as a Black man, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 290 pounds.
