James Argent's girlfriend's injuries confirmed as he escapes jail with plea deal
He had pleaded guilty to shoving Artursson. According to eyewitness accounts, the confrontation escalated to the point where Argent was allegedly seen hurling clothing from a balcony and storming out of the property with a bag in hand.
A bystander told the Mirror that they had comforted Artursson, who was visibly shaken. 'She was crying a lot,' the source told us. 'She looked extremely distressed and nervous.
"She told me, 'I'm in total shock…my life with Arg was so happy before this. I can't believe what's happened...we planned to have a family.''
Authorities were called to the scene shortly before midnight. Argent had already left by the time police and Artursson's mother arrived.
It has now been stated that Nicoline suffered cuts and bruises to her neck, arm, hand and leg. A report showed Nicoline bloodied and with bruises to her neck, right forearm and cuts to her right forearm, hand and leg.
Offering a detailed description of the injuries Nicoline suffered, a prosecutor said in the written document: 'The injured woman suffered several bruises to her neck, a bruise to her right forearm, several abrasions to her right arm, and abrasions to her right hand and on her right leg.' Confirming she received medical assistance, the prosecutor said: 'The injuries she suffered healed in seven days on skin and soft tissue.'
As part of the court's ruling, it is thought Argent may now also complete a ten-week domestic violence rehabilitation course in Spain, which includes listening to the stories of abuse survivors.
The reality star broke his silence on Thursday following the ruling. He said in a statement: "I haven't relapsed. I am still three years and four months clean and sober. I am devastated by what's happened."
Spanish police said Argent was later arrested for "an alleged crime of domestic violence". He later appeared before the Court of Violence against Women in Fuengirola, where he was handed a suspended prison sentence for a gender violence offence.
This week, Argent made a return to social media where he was photographed alongside a friend at a black-tie charity event. In the caption, he wrote: "It was an honour to perform for The Wickers Charity raising over £100,000. So proud of @brogangarritsmith for all her hard work."
Dressed in a black tuxedo and bow tie, Argent appeared upbeat as he posed for the camera at the elegant London venue. He also took to the stage with The Arg Band, entertaining attendees at the Wickers Charity Ball - an event dedicated to combating knife crime in the capital.
A source close to Argent and his partner Nicoline told the Sun: "James should be ashamed of himself. He is acting like nothing happened and seems to be trying to brush over this. What he did was serious.
"People who knew them as a couple were so shocked by what had happened but now to see James smiling and playing up to the cameras. It feels shameless."
Officials in Spain have not pointed to Argent, who has spoken openly about turning his life round after a harrowing cocaine addiction, being drunk or on drugs when he hit out and he has denied he has relapsed in his only public comments so far since the ugly incident.
Well-placed sources have said the fact he was dealt with by the courts the same day of his arrest suggests he was sober when he lashed out.
Andalucia's High Court of Justice said last Tuesday: 'The matter was resolved in Fuengirola's Court of Violence Against Women. There was a plea agreement on May 5 and a trial the same day. In trials of this kind it is the prosecutor who suggests a conviction after negotiating with the defence. It implies that the defendant acknowledges the facts and admits the penalty.
"The judgment is now final having been accepted. It consists of a sentence of six months in prison for the commission of a crime of mistreatment in the ambit of gender violence. It also implies a prohibition on approaching and communicating with the victim for a period of two years. The convicted person will not enter prison as he had no criminal record in Spain.
"For this reason, the sentence is suspended but on condition that, over a period of two years he does not approach or communicate with the victim and has to carry out a re-socialization course in the field of gender violence. The suspension would be revoked if it fails to comply with the measures imposed. The sentence will be sent to a criminal court that will be responsible for its execution and compliance with the measures implicit therein."

Body found in search for missing dad with newborn son
Brandon Parfitt, 28, was reported missing on Sunday evening. A body has been found in the search for missing dad. Brandon Parfitt, 28, was reported missing on Sunday evening. The dad, from Ebbw Vale in Wales, had a newborn son less than two months old. Officers say formal identification of the body is yet to take place - however, Brandon's heartbroken family have been notified. As reported by the Mirror, police also said their "thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time". In a statement on Tuesday evening, a spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "We received a call that the body of a man had been found in Pontygof, Ebbw Vale, on Tuesday 19 August. "Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the family of Brandon Parfitt, have been notified." Brandon's brother Tristan Parfitt and their other siblings had been actively leading a search on social media and said they were becoming increasingly worried for his welfare. Brandon had last been seen in Market Street in Ebbw Vale, Wales on Sunday. It comes as the mum of missing student Jack O'Sullivan has launched a fresh appeal to find him after he "went out for a drink with friends and didn't come home" 18 months ago. Jack, then 23, was last seen at 3.15am on Saturday, March 2, 2024, after a night out at a party in Bristol. Multiple searches and a high-profile campaign have failed to produce a lead, his family say, and they are "no closer" to finding out what happened to him since the day he disappeared. His mother Catherine O'Sullivan, 53, of Flax Bourton, near Bristol, issued a renewed plea. She shared a photo of him and added: "This is my son Jack - He is the most wonderful son, brother, and friend to many. He's a really kind and caring person who always puts others first. "It's approaching 18 months since he was last at home with us. Eighteen months of absolute hell and unimaginable pain without Jack in our lives. "This has been covered by many news and social media outlets. "After a total disaster of an investigation by the police we still have absolutely no answers. We know someone out there knows what has happened to Jack." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. Jack is described as 5ft 10in and slim build and has short brown hair, and was wearing a Barbour jacket over a beige wool jumper, with navy chinos and brown leather trainers when he went missing. He'd been on a night out with student friends to the pub before he attended a house party in Hotwells, Bristol. He told his mum he was getting a taxi home around 2am, before leaving the party at around 3am. CCTV footage shows Jack walking around for 30 minutes. At 3.24am he called a friend and, when they rang back 10 minutes later, Jack said "hello" before the call cut out, but officers say his phone remained active in the area until 6.44am.

Christine McGuinness' real reason for leaving Celebs Go Dating and what fans didn't see
EXCLUSIVE: Anna Williamson reflects on Christine McGuinness decision to leave Celebs Go Dating as emotional scenes are set to air during tonight's episode Tonight, Celebs Go Dating viewers will see Christine McGuinness leave the agency after an emotional chat with dating experts, Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson. Christine joined the dating agency last week, although it was clear she was struggling from episode one. We saw the mother of three struggle to decide who to take to Ibiza. However, Anna said that the most "powerful decision" Christine made was the leave the process. In last night's episode, Christine was told she'd be going on a blind date, although she told the cameras she "hated surprises," and tonight, it looks like it all gets to much for her as she makes the "brave" decision to quit. It comes after Christine McGuinness says 'it's my fault' and reveals surprising truth behind Paddy split. Now, dating expert Anna Williamson has spoken to the Mirror on the shock moment she found out Christine would be leaving. Although on screen, it looked like Christine was only at the agency for a week before deciding to call it quits - this wasn't actually the case, Anna confirmed. The dating expert said the star "really worked on herself" in the time she was in the agency, on and off screen, which lead her to the "brave" decision to call it quits. "Every moment really does count when you're in the agency, and in real time we had Christine with us for a good couple of weeks," she said. "It was really lovely to get to know her, and this is what's so special about the show, it is real. "Christine herself, nor us, could predict that she would get, a little way into the process and actually realise that this wasn't something she was quite ready to do right now." "And often we only know that only those who can make those decisions when we start to work on ourselves, and that's what Christine did." The revelation came as a shock to both Anna and Paul, who had no idea about her decision until she came for an emotional chat with them in scenes set to air tonight. "We didn't know until the scene you'll see," Anna told us. "As coaches, we picked up that she was finding the process challenging, everybody find the process challenging. Ibiza put even more of a spotlight on that." Of course, the agents were sad to see her leave - but Anna said she and Paul 'applauded' the star's 'brave' decision to walk away. "It was very brave of her to come to us to say she had made the decision that it wasn't the right time. Me and Paul absolutely applauded that. That is always the right approach, to be lead by our clients as coaches. They're in the driving seat, we're just in the passengers seat helping them stay on the right road that's right for them." During her two weeks at the agency, Christine was extremely open about her past, opening up about the reasoning behind her split with Paddy for the first time. Christine once again opened up to the agents, as she revealed that 'the trust was broken' in her marriage. Reflecting on the emotional chat, Anna believes opening up helped her along in her healing process. "When we have unresolved emotional baggage from the past, it's really important for us to establish where our clients are within that journey, and if we need to help them any further in unpacking and neutralising any pain," she said. The couple who wed in 2011, made a shock announcement in 2022, that they had decided to go their separate ways. "Healing and vocalising and working through our previous relationships absolutely helps to feel a lot more whole and in a more intentional space to working out what you want and what you're looking for, and that's definitely something Christine found too," Anna added. "It takes a while to gain the celebrity's trust, and she was very generous in allowing her to, you know, dropping her walls and trusting and telling us exactly what had led to her relationship breakdown and it was clearly a very emotional thing for her to talk about." Anna and the rest of the agents stressed that Christine left with her head held high, the door will always be open, should she ever want to return to the show. Emmerdale's John 'already knows about Robert and Aaron' after 'forgotten scene'
Emmerdale viewers are recalling a moment from weeks ago on the ITV soap that could reveal John Sugden knows about Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden's fling amid Robron reunion hopes There could be a major Emmerdale twist on the way according to a new theory ahead of John Sugden's downfall. With Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle's fling still under wraps, some fans have questioned whether a 'forgotten' scene could spell trouble. Aaron cheated on husband John with his ex-husband Robert, John's brother, on Monday. The pair were unable to hide their feelings any longer, but now Aaron's trying to cover up the betrayal. It comes as John's exit from the show was reported with it thought the secret killer will soon face his downfall. Now, fans have recalled a moment from weeks ago that could prove John knows about Robron's moment of passion, and is pretending he has no idea. After all if John was to admit he knew everything, the only way he could know what happened is via the secret listening device he bugged the house with. Last month Robert had no idea he was being spied on by his sibling, who wanted dirt on him. It's been John's mission to get rid of Robert for months, but it backfired this week when his latest cruel antics sent Robert spiralling, only for him to be comforted by Aaron. One thing led to another and they slept together, and now Aaron is keen to pretend nothing happened. But with spoilers revealing Aaron will try to convince John to move away, wanting to run away from the drama with Robert, could his husband already know the truth? It's not entirely clear whether the listening device is till in the house, but it had been planted in the living room. Some fans say John removed it, but plenty others cannot remember this happening. So does this mean it's still there, and in the very room where Aaron confessed his feelings and shared a kiss with his ex? There's every chance, fans say, that John now knows the pair have slept together, and knows exactly how Aaron is feeling about Robert. Taking to social media, fans predicted this would be how John exposes them, with some convinced he already knows about the fling. One fan posted: "HOLD ON A SECOND. Aaron and Rob taking about their feelings in the living room… isn't John's snooping device still plugged in? God I hope he hears every word." Another fan said: "Yes I think it is still there." A third fan posted: "So surely Johns going to hear them kissing & hear Aaron telling Robert he's missed him (along with everything else) unless of course the listening device now coincidentally doesn't work?!" A fourth fan wrote: "The fact that John's recording device is picking up EVERY WORD is so satisfying to me. HEAR THAT JOHNNY BOY, ur plan completely backfired!" Another said: "I think he's going to know about Robron but will keep the info to himself…..until he wants to use it of course." A final theory said: "By the look of that spoiler picture the boys are in Vic's sitting room: where the listening device of 'M15 man' John is? Does he find out Aaron definitely has feelings for Robert & havoc occurs leading to his downfall & an eventual reunion. I do hope so."
