This week, Aamir's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' has come face to face with the debutant-led film 'Saiyaara.' Introducing Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, this musical drama made quite an impact at the box office with an opening of Rs 20 crores. The film has outperformed the trade prediction and is expected to enjoy a further surge over its first weekend.
No OTT release for 'Sitaare Zameen Par'
Aamir Khan made it clear from the beginning that 'Sitaare Zameen Par' will only have a theatrical release.
According to him, he wants the audience to have the big-screen experience. Staying adamant on the decision, he refused more than an Rs 100 crore deal offered by a leading OTT platform, mentioned Komal Natha.
'Sitaare Zameen Par' - About the movie
Directed by RS Prasanna, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' masterfully combines emotions, humor, and a social message. While the central storyline focuses on a bold sports teacher mentoring a group of athletes with intellectual disabilities as part of his community service, the film transcends typical sports dramas.
Additionally, in this spiritual sequel of 'Taare Zameen Par,' from established actors like Aamir and Genelia to the ten newcomers, every performer has given an outstanding performance.
'Sitaare Zameen Par' review
'The film mixes sentiment with spunk, avoiding overly preachy tones. ID (intellectual disabilities) is described through relatable lines like, 'Humaari kismat haathon pe nahi, chromosome pe likh ke aati hai (Our destiny isn't written on our palms — it's written in our chromosomes).' While the underdog sports narrative and troubled-coach arc feel familiar, the film's heart and humour keep it engaging,' reads an excerpt from Times of India's review of the movie.
Our critics gave the film an impressive 3.5-star rating.

In a recent interview, Chay called his life after marriage 'great" and mentioned that they both have been able to balance their personal and professional lives well. 'Married life is great! I'm totally enjoying it. It's just been a couple of months. I think we both invest equally in work and away from work; so, we have that work-life balance very much intact. I think that's one of the qualities we both really connected on also," he told Hindustan Times. Asked what he and Sobhita have in common other than being successful actors, Naga Chaitanya added, 'You know, we are both from Andhra. She is from Vizag and I love Vizag. Our roots are similar though we are not from the same cities and so, culturally, there was a lot of connect. And, obviously, the love for cinema, the love for this art form. 'Trigger' ending explained: From addressing dark aspects of society to the dual perspectives

Trigger Warning: This article discusses gun violence, its impact, and related social issues, which some readers may find disturbing. 'Trigger,' the recently released K-Drama, has been the talk of the town, keeping every possible fan awake in the night. The story revolves around illegal guns being massively delivered to civilians, leading to chaos and, certainly, triggering violence. What is 'Trigger' about? Directed by Kwon Oh-seung, the series gave a glimpse of what would happen if the regulations were disregarded and the laws were casually broken. Led by Kim Young-Kwang and Kim Nam-Gil, where one is adamant about destroying the country that failed to protect him, and the other is trying to be on the right side of the road. On the darker side is Moon Baek (Kim Young-Kwang), who has been around the international black market and is willing to unleash the devil in South Korea, knowing that he will be dying of cancer. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Victoria Principal Is Almost 75, See Her Now Reportingly Undo Meanwhile, Lee Do (Kim Nam Gil), who wants to protect the people despite having a quite traumatic childhood, has served in the military and condemns all the weapon culture in society. While he tries to stop everything without using a gun, the time eventually makes him pick one to fight the demons. How does the series end? At the end, Moon Baek organises rallies and sets off the ticking bomb by conducting a 'free guns' incentive, in addition to throwing smoke bombs. Lee, who has been the protector, decides not to arrest Moon and save the children from the chaotic crossfire. Adding the spice of a perfectly dramatic climax, Baek disappears in the smoke after stating that all he did was hand humans the guns; it was entirely their decision to pull the trigger. However, Moon Baek is shot and is hospitalised due to a critical condition, while Lee Do survives and adopts the boy he saved, according to The Indian Express. While there has been no official announcement about the next season, there is certainly room for one.
