
Deeply saddened: Chiranjeevi mourns passing of Ravi Tejas father, Rajagopal Raju
As the news of his death emerged, condolences poured in from across the Telugu film industry and fans alike.
Actor Chiranjeevi shared a picture with Rajagopal Raju and recalled meeting him on the sets of "Waltair Veerayya" (2023).
"I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Brother Ravi Teja's father. I last met him on the sets of Waltair Veerayya. He was very cheerful and spoke with great enthusiasm. In this difficult time, my heartfelt condolences to his family. I pray that his soul finds peace," he wrote in a heartfelt message on X.
Director Gopichand Malineni, known for films like "Jaat", "Bodyguard", and "Veera Simha Reddy", also expressed his grief. "Deeply saddened by the loss of #RajaGopalRaju Garu, father of @RaviTeja_offl. Praying for strength and peace to Raviteja Garu and family during this difficult time. Om Shanti," he wrote.
Many others from the industry, along with fans, also took to social media to offer their condolences. One user wrote, "Oh God! May god give rest in peace to his soul my deepest condolences to mass maharaja family," while another commented, "Heartfelt Condolences to Sri Ravi Teja and his family members. May his father's soul rest in peace. Om Shanti."
Ravi Teja's father passed away eight years after the tragic death of the actor's younger brother, B Bharath Raj, who lost his life in a car accident in Hyderabad on June 24, 2017.
On the work front, Ravi Teja will next be seen in Mass Jathara, directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu. The film is set to release on August 27, 2025, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi. He is also working on his 76th film, tentatively titled #RT76, with director Tirumala Kishore. The shoot has resumed, and the first look and official title are expected to be released soon. (ANI)

"I was frustrated. Vipul Ji came like an angel and showed trust in me at that time. He was in tears by the realistic story and was ready to make the film. It is a collective effort by me, Vipul Ji, and the team," he shared. Meanwhile, Vipul Shah said the win felt "gratifying and satisfying." "The National Award is the country's biggest honour and the competition is very tough. With hundreds of entries, being appreciated on a national level is very gratifying and satisfying," he said. Starring Adah Sharma in the lead, 'The Kerala Story' was released in May 2023.

Kingdom Box Office Collection Day 3: Vijay Deverakonda's Film Is "Blazing Fire"
New Delhi: Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom opened its doors to the public on July 31. The film features Vijay Deverakonda in a never-seen-before avatar. As per Sacnilk, the Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial has minted Rs 2.62 crore on its first Saturday at the domestic box office across languages. With this, the total collection of Kingdom now stands at Rs 28.12 crore. The report added that the Kingdom 'had an overall 38.78% Telugu Occupancy on Saturday.' On its first day, the film minted Rs 18 crore across languages at the Indian box office. Kingdom has been produced by Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas. Bhagyashri Borse, Satya Dev, and Ayyappa P Sharma are also part of the film. Sithara Entertainments shared a post of X to announce that Kingdom has minted Rs 53 crore worldwide in 2 days. The actor revisited the same village for a special screening of his film Sitaare Zameen Par. The special screening was a part of a heartfelt initiative by the actor to bring cinema closer to people. The film, which has already attained widespread recognition from the audience, is now available on YouTube under a pay-per-view model. Aamir Khan Holds First Ever Screening at Kotai Village As per ANI reports, Aamir Khan was seen getting nostalgic, returning to the place. Speaking to the outlet, Khan said, 'My memories of Lagaan got refreshed today." During the interview, Khan also reflected on the issue of scarcity of cinema halls in rural places of the country. 'The cinema should reach these areas. I wanted my new movie Sitaare Zameen. Par to reach every village in the nation," he stated, explaining the need to bring films closer to India's vast rural population. The 3 Idiots star further shared the importance of meaningful storytelling as well as accessible entertainment. 'This is the first-ever screening in Kotai village. Such screenings should happen in every village. It was my wish to conduct the first screening in Kachchh. This is a historic place.
