Former BBC presenter Jay Blades has been charged with two counts of rape, West Mercia Police has said. TV presenter Jay Blades has been charged with two counts of rape, police have said. Blades, who has dyslexia, also fronted a documentary in 2022 in which he talked about how he learned to read when he was in his 50s. He was awarded an MBE in 2021 for services to craft.

Former Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey was granted conditional bail on Tuesday after appearing in a London court on rape and sexual assault charges.
