The pair were dropped from the side after the disappointment of drawing with Motherwell and featured off the bench against Viktoria Plzen and Dundee.
However, the manager was pleased with their contribution in those games and both are back in from the start for tonight's second leg against the Czechs.
Max Aarons has also picked up a knock which is a factor in Tavernier playing, with Martin revealing the Bournemouth loanee was unavailable tonight but will be back to face Alloa Athletic on Saturday.
He told BBC Scotland: "I think that is the right team to play tonight to win the game. Nico was fantastic when he came on Saturday, as was Tav, had a big moment for us and executed it.

"Max picked up a little bit of a knock before the game on Saturday and got through it as best as he could, but it's actually set him back a little bit.
"So he'll be fit for the weekend, but there was no point in bringing him to travel and he's now got a bit of time to recover now. So Tav and Nico really helped the team on Saturday and they're in tonight."
As well as Aarons, the other player to drop out is midfielder Joe Rothwell. After initially partnering Raskin, the Englishman was preferred for recent games but has now been taken out.
"He's come in, he's done great," Martin explained. "He's looked a bit tired on Saturday and we've just gone for energy. So we have two really good options there. They might end up on the pitch together at some point tonight.
"But yeah, he's done great, but it's now Nico's turn and I've said that no one gets dropped, just be ready at any moment. And Tav and Nico have been really good in their response, so now Joe needs to do the same."

Diogo Jota's family to attend Liverpool's Premier League opener as special tributes planned

Diogo Jota's family are set to attend Liverpool's first Premier League game since the footballer's tragic passing, with Reds boss Arne Slot saying they will "always have our love and support" Arne Slot has revealed that Diogo Jota's family will be at Anfield for their Premier League opener against Bournemouth. Jota tragically passed away in a car crash alongside his brother last month shortly after getting married. ‌ The footballer tied the knot with his long-term partner Rute Cardoso in June, with the couple having three children together, and Jota's family are set to attend Liverpool's first league game since his passing. ‌ In his programme notes ahead of the game, Liverpool boss Arne Slot wrote: "As I have said previously, the tributes that have been paid throughout the football world, and especially within the LFC community, have been truly special, and I know that tonight we will come together to honour them once more. ‌ "I believe that Diogo's wife, his children and his family will be in attendance and it is important that, as a club, we show that they will always have our love and support as they deal with this most tragic of situations. We are there for them always." Team-mate Alexis Mac Allister also recently paid a touching tribute to Jota, opening up about their relationship. "There's one in the group who will hold a special place in our hearts forever.," he said in the Players' Tribune. "Obviously, and with great emotion, I want to dedicate this paragraph to Diogo. I still can't understand how he left us so early. I always had a good relationship with him, but this past year even more so. "He was always a very down-to-earth, family-oriented person, and never tried to pretend to be something he wasn't. One day he would come and give you the hug of a lifetime, and the next day he wouldn't even say hello, hahaha. "We loved to 'take the p***,' and we always found a way, whether it was our Messi vs. Cristiano arguments, or just playing cards. It was part of the game. I will always choose to remember him with a smile. ‌ "And I know that with that smile, he'll be supporting us from above. If you don't believe that, then just look at the minute Frimpong scored in the Community Shield. The 20th. These are signs…… "I'd like to take this opportunity to send my warmest regards to his family, whom we must never forget, as they are the ones who are suffering the most from the tragic passing of him and his brother André. My respect and love to all of them."

'Defence has been decimated' but trust Iraola

Former Premier League striker Glenn Murray says Bournemouth face a "rebuilding" process this season given their defence "has been decimated" this Cherries kick off the Premier League season with a trip to Anfield on Friday to face the reigning Premier League champions, Iraola will be without his recognisable back-line but Murray remains optimistic that they will be OK this season because of who they have at the helm. "Bournemouth were one of my favourite teams last season because of the way they played," Murray said on BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast. "Their high press meant they would get up against anyone they faced, regardless of whether the opponents were bottom or top of the league. "Iraola has been a real breath of fresh air but I do feel for him after the way their defence has been decimated. It's going to be a difficult season for them now."The good news is that they have good money to spend and their frontline and midfield is pretty much unchanged. "There is a rebuilding process for the back four but they have made some good signings."They had an injury crisis last year and Iraola proved he can still do it and get results. Everyone thought they would fall apart but they didn't."He found a way so that shows you how good of a manager he is."Listen on BBC Sounds
