When a fan reached out to him on Twitter/X with well wishes and hopes of seeing him wrestle again, Lee responded with optimism. He confirmed that he's in good health and remains confident that he will eventually step back into the ring.
He wrote, 'You have my appreciation. I am quite well! Only time will tell when or where, but I am confident that time will come. Have patience my friend. Lead with Love. Be well.'
As for his health status, the last update came in October 2024 when it reported that Lee had not medically cleared to return to in-ring competition due to an undisclosed medical issue. Despite the setback, the report confirmed that Lee remains under contract with AEW and is still listed on the active roster.

Keith Lee's run in AEW has had its share of highs and lows since his debut in 2022 following his release from WWE. He made an immediate impact by forming a tag team with Swerve Strickland, and together they captured the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
However, the partnership eventually crumbled when Strickland betrayed Lee, sparking a heated rivalry. That feud, however, never reached its conclusion. An undisclosed medical issue sidelined Lee, removing him from the storyline. Although AEW had planned for the two to face off at Worlds End 2023, Lee was pulled from the match due to his health concerns.

Spike Lee Says Trump Should ‘Think Twice' if He Considers a Federal Takeover of New York: ‘The Boogie-Down? Harlem?'
"This is a scary time," the "Do the Right Thing" director tells the Rev. Al Sharpton on MSNBC Spike Lee's characters say 'Wake up!' in 'Do the Right Thing,' 'School Daze' and 'Malcolm X' – and now the director has put the signature line in his weekend MSNBC appearance, too. Speaking with 'Politics Nation' host Rev. Al Sharpton on Saturday to promote the Denzel Washington film 'Highest 2 Lowest,' Lee said the Trump administration's federal law-enforcement takeover in Washington, D.C., wouldn't go quite the same if the president tried it in New York City. More from TheWrap 'Severance' Star Tramell Tillman Crashes 'Zoolander' Screening – With a Marching Band Spike Lee Says Trump Should 'Think Twice' if He Considers a Federal Takeover of New York: 'The Boogie-Down? Harlem?' | Video 'Butterfly' Release Schedule: Are More Episodes on the Way? Gal Gadot Says She Left 'Entourage' Set Because Someone Behaved Inappropriately, 'Hated' the Experience 'This country right now is … it's bananas, and this and this guy trying to take over D.C. and just weaponize these things,' Lee said. 'And I mean, he's going to think twice [if he tries] to do that in New York though. The Boogie Down? Harlem?' Sharpton agreed, saying that it would 'be a different kind of reaction.' Chuckling with glee, Lee responded: 'Oh yeah. It's gonna be very different.' Sharpton asked Lee what he thought about Trump mobilizing federal agents and National Guard troops 'in heavily Black and brown cities with Black mayors,' given how Lee has portrayed authoritarian law enforcement throughout his films. 'They're weaponizing these other agencies of the United States government,' Lee said more gravely. 'And this is — this is a scary time. The last word in 'School Daze' … my brother … Lawrence Fishburne saying, 'Wake up!' And the first line in 'Do the Right Thing' you know — Samuel Jackson saying, 'Wake up.' So we need to wake up. We need to wake up. You know, it's some serious times and we gotta be on point and just be in the moment and see this three-card-monte game — watch the black, watch the black, watch the black! … you can't win.' 'Highest 2 Lowest' is in theaters now. Watch the entire exchange in the video above. Notre Dame football ended its fall camp on Sunday, and now the next portion of the fall begins, game preparation. Freeman once again showed why he is so likable, answering every question in an honest manner, and going into details on each of them as well. It's not like Ash or Denbrock didn't, but having the leader of the program being so candid, it moves down the line for his staff. Sixers' Paul George has 2K26 rating revealed for upcoming season
The popular video game, NBA2K26, will be released very soon as everybody prepares for the 2025-26 NBA season. The game promises to add new features and continue to upgrade graphics and things of the like as the game's production team looks for improvements. A big topic everybody looks for is ratings. The masses want to know what their favorite player's 2K rating is in the game and the official Twitter account released the top 100 rated players in the game. The Philadelphia 76ers have an early entry on the list in the form of Paul George. George, a 9-time All-Star who had an injury-riddled first season with the Sixers, has a 2K rating of 81 as he looks ahead to the new season. Other notable players with an 81 rating are Washington Wizards big man Alex Sarr, Portland Trail Blazers high flyer Shaedon Sharpe, and New York Knicks swingman Josh Hart. George was limited to 41 games with the Sixers and saw his numbers decrease across the board from his previous season with the Los Angeles Clippers. Recovering from an offseason left knee surgery, the Sixers hope George can return and give Philadelphia the dominant scoring it expects from him.
