Major EastEnders legend hospitalised after fall - and a fan-fave is to blame
As viewers of the BBC One soap know, Oscar is desperate to evade thuggish associate Fat Mike (Tai Hilferink), who he grassed up to the police for stealing a car.
In retaliation, Mike attempted to petrol bomb his house, and has continued to try and seek revenge by leaving a series of threatening messages and, in last week's episodes, left a knife in the kitchen chopping board as a stark warning of what he's capable of.
After the two lads came face to face in Monday's instalment, a paranoid Oscar attacked a hooded figure in the hallway of sister Lauren's (Jacqueline Jossa) house, believing it to be Mike.
…but it was Peter (Thomas Law)!
In upcoming scenes, Mike is back on the scene and announces he needs £5,000 in exchange for Oscar's family's safety.
At a loose end with where to find the cash, Oscar makes an attempt at forming a business deal with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), but his attempts fall flat and he has to confess all to Lauren.
Will she offer to help?
Across the Square, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) has been betting against his fiancée Yolande's (Angela Wynter) wishes, and is on cloud nine to see he and Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) have bagged a whopping £6,000!
Yolande is furious – having already warned that she'd call off their upcoming wedding if she found him gambling again – but little does she realise, the money won't be staying in his hands for long.
The family are all in The Vic when Oscar foolishly breaks into the Fox-Trueman household in a bid to steal the winnings, but is caught in the act by Patrick.

Concerns grow for Patrick when he's rushed into hospital, while Lauren is suspicious of Oscar's overwhelming worries for a man he doesn't really know.
Later, realising he's planning to leave Walford, she confronts him with the stolen cash.
When the police start doing door to door enquiries, Oscar knows that the time is ticking on his new life.

She has warned Patrick that she would call off their upcoming nuptials if he was found gambling again. Since returning, Oscar has been trying to hide from dangerous associate Fat Mike. But what consequences will Patrick's situation bring him? EastEnders airs on BBC One and iPlayer. 5 5

Axed Scots Gogglebox couple release heartfelt statement as fans left gutted over exit
Gogglebox stars Roisin Kelly and Joe Kelly have been brutally dumped from the show after three and half years. Gogglebox fan favourite couple Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle have released a heartfelt statement after they were brutally dumped from the Channel 4 show. The beloved duo, who hail from Glasgow, shocked social media on Monday evening when they announced they had been axed from the programme after three and a half years despite being one of the most popular couples among Gogglebox fans. Roisin, who celebrated her 27th birthday earlier this week, took to her social media accounts on Instagram and TikTok to announce the sad news that she and Joe, 28, had not made the cut for season 26. The pair have released an emotional joint statement following their departure. It reads: "After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa, Channel 4 have decided it's time for Joe and I to stretch our legs and have not asked us back for season 26. Therefore we are leaving the Gogglebox family. We couldn't be more grateful to Studio Lambert for the opportunity, the experience has actually been so mad and we will miss watching tv with you all on Friday nights! "It's been an honour to represent Scotland as some of the first Scottish people on the show and prove we don't actually need subtitles." She continued: "We have made friends for life and after filming every week for years you have become like our family! We could not have asked for better people to work with and we will miss you immensely. "A huge thank you to everyone who has watched us, met us and supported us during this experience, it has for sure been a once in a lifetime opportunity. "Time to watch TV in silence for a bit and put down the popcorn. Miss you already, Roisin and Joe." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Channel 4 have now been advised by viewers that they have made a huge 'mistake' in axing the Scots couple who captured viewers hearts with their hilarious banter during their time on the show. Underneath Roisin's post on TikTok, one fan fumed: "That's a stupid decision by ch4/gogglebox! Sorry to hear this." A second chimed in: "Gutted! Their loss though." A third echoed: "Nooo you were a favourite in our house! Very stupid move from Channel 4." Roisin and Joe were the only Scottish cast members left on the show and fans have been quick to point out that Scotland is no longer being represented on the programme. One complained: "Aw man, this is s****. No Scottish voices on the show anymore! You were great." Another wrote: "Hate this! It was nice to have Scottish people and the West of Scotland sense of humour represented on TV, not worth watching anymore." A third added: "Oh no way! Typical because they are Scottish." Fans are hoping it won't be the last they'll see of Roisin and Joe on their screens and their Gogglebox axe means Roisin may now find the time to return to her podcast, Nags and Brags, which she co-hosts with pal and Clyde 1 breakfast show broadcaster, Cassi Gillespie. Nags and Brags covers a variety of subjects, from dating woes to fashion faux pas, with the show temporarily being put on hiatus while Roisin and Cassie juggled their other work commitments.

One of TV's most popular newcomers returns to Emmerdale in early ITVX release
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) has returned to Emmerdale. We were first introduced to the teen earlier this year, when an episode of the ITV soap aired that revealed what happened to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) while she was living on the streets. Dylan was one of the few people who looked out for April while she was homeless. Her time living rough ended when she was found by a member of the public and rushed to hospital. When Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) arrived, they learnt April had given birth to a stillborn baby girl. April then returned to Mill Cottage but because of this, she never got to say a proper goodbye to her friend. Dylan then made his way to the village in search of April a few weeks later. He lived with April for a little while as he attempted to get clean from drugs. However, due to the fact Marlon was very focused on rebuilding his relationship with his daughter, it felt like Dylan was getting in the way. It led him to planting drugs from the vets on Dylan, making it seem as though he had lied to April. Dylan then made a deal with Marlon, which saw him pay for rehab on the condition Dylan would not tell April the truth. During this story, many fans of the ITV soap grew to love Dylan, which meant plenty of them were thrilled to see him tuning into the latest episode. More Trending Dylan had been sneaking about in the village that morning and it didn't take April very long to find him. As they caught up, April smiled as she learnt that Dylan had turned his life around as a result of rehab, and was now living in Hotten. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? She was very pleased but as they parted ways, Dylan made his way to the Cricket Pavilion. He pulled his trouser leg up and attempted to nurse the injury he sustained yesterday, when he was stabbed by Kyle (Huey Quinn) during the barn break-in. The makeshift bed under Dylan confirms that he has lied to April, and sadly hasn't turned his life around. View More » So what's really going on with him?
