#SHOWBIZ: Anugerah Melodi Terhangat 2025 to honour local celebs this Sunday

The show promises modern, interactive performances tailored for today's social media-driven audience.
TV3's General Manager of Content Programming, Marlia Zul Amran, emphasised the show's focus: "This isn't about who's trending the most this week—it's about those who truly bring value and impact. AMT 2025 celebrates individuals who treat the arts as their foundation, not just as content. It's about those who are making waves through performance, not controversy."

Led by project manager Russel Mark Rodrigues, the production combines entertainment prestige with digital innovation.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 are headlining as the event's technology partner, promising an immersive, tech-driven experience.
Meanwhile, Proton, the official car partner, is adding excitement with its exclusive Proton X50 Superstar Choice Award, where the winner will drive away in a brand-new Proton X50.
The evening's award presenters include a stellar line-up: Ernie Zakri, Fattah Amin, Siti Hariesa, Hisyam Hamid, Christy Ng, Ceddy Ng, Dolla, Syed Saddiq, Bella Astillah, Faizal Hussein, Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim, Anuar Zain, Ziana Zain, and DeFam.

DESPITE suffering a wardrobe malfunction and having to rush from the airport, actress and singer Daiyan Trisha said her efforts were worth it after she scooped the Ultimate Award and the Selebriti Stailo Terhangat award at the recent Anugerah Melodi Terhangat 2025. The Ultimate Award honours the year's most influential public figure based on their positive impact, viral moments, and public engagement across social and digital platforms. "My fans had been voting every day, so this win is for them," she said when met after the show. "I'm very happy to also win the Selebriti Stailo Terhangat category. I take my appearance and style very seriously. I do get tired of having to look like this all the time, though. For instance, today I had just arrived from Bangkok," she added. Daiyan explained that her attendance was also to show appreciation for her fans' efforts and hoped it would add to the evening's excitement. "I truly appreciate the fans who voted diligently. They don't care about the controversy surrounding me. They understand. I'm used to the criticisms by now. "I accept and understand them because that's what you have to face as a public figure.
