Dani Dyer, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Alex Kingston have been revealed as the latest contestants for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The trio were announced as the latest recruits for the upcoming season live on BBC One's The One Show on Monday.
Speaking from the studio after her reveal, former Love Island winner Dyer said: "It's such a fun magical show – to be asked to do it is such an honour.
"I just can't wait to be able to wear (the costumes) – it's going to be so much fun."
Actress Kingston, who interrupted her holiday in Italy to speak to hosts Alex Scott and Roman Kemp, joked: "I was super excited but now I'm terrified."
What an incredible show!

She was best known for her role as Dr Elizabeth Corday in US medical drama ER but also appeared in Doctor Who.
Before ER she won over British fans for her performance in ITV miniseries The Fortunes And Misfortunes Of Moll Flanders, which earned her a Bafta nomination for best actress.
Former Chelsea footballer Hasselbaink said: "I'm a father of only girls and Strictly is a part of our home life – I like the show. Let's have a go."
He added: "It's totally out of my comfort zone.
"Playing football in front of 60,000 or 70,000 people is easy but dancing with a partner who knows it 10 times, 100 times, better than you is crazy."
Hasselbaink also teased the idea that he might be bringing a few of his former footballing friends along to watch live.
"I'm in contact with Robbie (Fowler), with Carlo Cudicini, so who knows," he said.
They join Olympic sprinter and Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, who was the first contestant confirmed for the 2025 line-up earlier in the day.
Aikines-Aryeetey, known as Nitro on the rebooted Gladiators, previously competed in last year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special and described his decision to return as "so nice I just had to do it twice".
In July, the BBC announced that two "incredible" new professional dancers, US-born Alexis Warr and Australian dancer Julian Caillon, would be joining the show, which starts this autumn.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are back to present with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas returning as judges.

Love Island's Dejon breaks silence on ‘Surviving Dejon' book written by step-sister who branded him a ‘narcissist'

LOVE Island alum, Dejon Noel-Williams, says he plans to challenge a tell all book slate for release and penned by his sister who had labelled him a "narcissist." During his time in the villa on the ITV2 reality dating show, Dejon came under fire for his controversial behaviour and now his step-sister has added to the chorus of criticism. 4 Love Island's Dejon has spoken out about a book written by his step-sister Credit: Instagram/@capitalxtra 4 Dejon said the book is full of 'untruths' Credit: Instagram/@capitalxtra 4 Dejon's step-sister Niah called him 'manipulative' Credit: ITV His step-sister Niah, who is not biologically related to Dejon but shares a brother with him, has released a book named 'Surviving Dejon,' where she accused him "gaslighting" and "abusive." But Dejon has now broken his silence the ordeal and said Niah's book was full of "untruths" and he planned to take action. The footballer was dumped on day 56 of this year's Love Island, alongside his girlfriend, Meg Moore, whom he said knows him well despite what Niah had to say about him. "There's a lot of untruths and unfair stories that I am challenging at the moment, the most important thing is Meg knows who I am, my family know who I am," Dejon said during an interview on Capital X radio. Dejo then even gave a "shoutout" to previously dumped Islanders Andrada and Billykiss, who were quick to support him once he and Meg left the villa. "They told me, 'Dejon there's a lot of things being said about you, we know that's not you, we know that's not how you are as a person'," he revealed. "So shoutout to them they didn't need to do that." Prior to releasing her book, Niah had posted a series of scathing videos to TikTok where she tore shreds off Dejon's character. In the six minute video, Niah claims that what viewers have seen on TV is an accurate reflection of how Dejon behaves in real life, she began: " So I've decided to speak out because I've been silent for way too long and I know that I will be receiving probably alot of backlash from my family for this. "You guys are all clearly very traumatised from seeing Dejon on TV and seeing everything that he's doing and watching everything play out it seems as though no one is holding him accountable. Love Island's Dejon responds to step-sister's claims that he's a 'narcissist' and 'manipulative' as he insists it's 'false' She went on to say: 'Dejon is a narcissist, he's manipulative. I've been telling everyone this for the past 10 years now but no one believed me. And it's just crazy now that the whole of the UK can see what I've been trying to explain to people for so long." Niah also revealed in a later video that four family members had messaged her asking her to take her video down. "So, yeah, that clearly isn't a coincidence," Niah said speaking on the family messages: "At first, I did consider taking it down, but then I realised why would I take something down when I strongly believe in everything that I said." Dejon then took to his own social media to denounce Niah's video and deny her claims. "I feel like there's a lot of false stories out there about me which are very untrue, unfair and I feel like from that, really big up to my supporters," Dejon told his followers.

Strictly Come Dancing fans 'disgusted' as controversial star joins line up

Some Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left 'disgusted' over one of its latest stars who has signed up for the upcoming series. The BBC Saturday night favourite began announcing its lineup in recent days, ahead of a September launch, but some fans are not happy with who has been chosen to compete. Thomas Skinner, who is best known for appearing on The Apprentice, will be showing off his footwork for judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Mosi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke in just a few weeks' time, but because he has become known for some of his controversial views that he has posted on social media, some fans demanded were not impressed. One fan wrote on X: "Disgusted that grifter Tom Skinner has got the #Strictly gig. Have the BBC not looked at his social media output?" to which someone replied: "Somebody who has different political opinions than me is on television. BAN THEM." but the initial tweeter insisted that is not what they meant, as X users in their droves demanded his social media history is checked, Mirror UK reports. Another person wrote: "Oh dear God no. You really think platforming a known bigot is the right way to go for a show which has already had more than its share of troubles?" and a third said: "Appalling booking - has the BBC not seen his social media output?" as some demanded that the broadcaster check his online output. When it comes to checking his social media, one fan said: "They probably have, which is why they haven't tagged his account in the announcement!! What a bizarre choice from them!" but another fan Strictly enthusiast went as far to say: "I'm so serious, I loved this years #Strictly line up but casting Thomas Skinner has completely ruined the WHOLE thing," The 32-year-old Essex-born businessman, now renowned for his thriving pillow and mattress empire, initially rose to prominence on the 2019 series of Lord Alan Sugar's BBC programme, where he made it through to week nine of the competition. Also known for his candid videos on social media platform X, Skinner's posts about business, politics and everyday life have garnered hundreds of thousands of followers. His social media presence has since sparked an extraordinary friendship with US Vice President JD Vance, Donald Trump's running mate. President JD Vance recently enjoyed beers and a barbecue with The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner (Image: iamtomskinner/X) Vance has shown support for the businessman on X after Tom claimed he received death threats and "vile comments about my children" after he posted a series of tweets in which he said "something's gone wrong" in the UK and said "there is nothing wrong with being proud of where you're from" Just days ago, Tom shared a post alongside Vance, where the two were pictured together having met up for a barbecue. Hewrote: "Here is a pic of Me and Vice President @JDVance towards the end of the night after a few beers I'm overdressed in my suit, but when the VP invites you to a BBQ, you don't risk turning up in shorts an flip-flops Cracking night in the beautiful English countryside with JD, his friends and family. Once in a lifetime. Bosh!" In a second tweet, he added: "When the Vice President of the USA invites ya for a BBQ an beers, you say yes. Unreal night with JD and his friends n family. He was a proper gent. Lots of laughs and some fantastic food. A brilliant night, one to tell the grand kids about mate. Bosh!"
