Top Jonathan Bailey Moments That Show His True Charm

Top Jonathan Bailey Moments That Show His True Charm

Buzz Feed25-06-2025
Jonathan Bailey is having a great career run with back-to-back successes: Wicked, Bridgerton, Fellow Travelers, and now Jurassic World Rebirth, as the lead! And his online activity and interactions for his projects have caught the eyes of hundreds of fans.
It's so thrilling to watch him succeed.
Look, we all fell hard for his brooding lover era in Bridgerton (that eye contact? the angst?). But lately, Jonathan's been causing a full-blown internet meltdown with his chaotic but cute energy on press tours, interviews, and more. And I have to say—it has us HOOKED.
So let's dive right into some of Jonathan's most endearing, wholesome, and chaotic moments on the internet, which are too good to miss!
1. When he gladly accepted the "sl*tty little glasses" move, while also crediting Blakely Thornton for this phenomenon.
It's official: Jonathan Bailey admitted he knows about the trend and is going to support it. It's a win for us; we will get to see more of Jonathan in those little eyeglasses, and I cannot complain. Next, we need Andrew Garfield to also champion this, and the two of them need to become the ambassadors of this trend.
And if you haven't already seen it, here is Jonathan rocking those tiny eyeglasses:
It's a look.
2. When this friendly peck between him and Scarlett Johansson led to the internet melting—not once, but TWICE.
God really does have his favorites, and these pictures prove it.
And obviously, people were quick to react in the most relatable manner.
3. This sweet hug between Josh O'Connor and Jonathan Bailey got fans hyping up a possible collab between these two as co-leads of a film.
Even though they interacted only for a photo shoot, that sweet hug between the two immediately sparked casting wishes amongst fans. And honestly, both of the actors are at the peak of their careers, and who wouldn't love to see them together in a film?
The comments said all that needs to be said. If any Hollywood casting director is looking, this is the duo we need on-screen next!
4. The time he playfully took part in Alison Hammond's joke about safety rules in sex scenes and got her rightfully blushing throughout!
Alison Hammond, a famous British TV presenter known for making celebrities and guests quite literally die with laughter, took her chances with Jonathan, and honestly, it was so relatable. And as always, Jonathan Bailey is charming in whatever he does—he's 90% perfect hair, 10% jawline, and 100% babygirl. I mean, who wouldn't like a demonstration by the one and only Anthony Bridgerton on practicing safety on set? You can watch the entire interview here!
5. When he casually dropped how he handpicked the prosthetic p*enis for Fellow Travelers—and it's King behavior, honestly.
I have quite literally never seen a man approach prosthetic p*nis selection with this much emotional depth and Oscar-worthy intention. Jonathan Bailey turned it into a full-on art form. This is exactly why I signed up to be his fan. So humble and iconic.
6. When he wore these shorts for the Wicked premiere and sent the internet into a frenzy.
Men in short shorts is not new, with Paul Mescal and Josh O'Connor rocking shorts in paparazzi pictures. But we didn't know Jonathan Bailey would rock this look so effortlessly. But then again, how could he not? And once again, he has managed to rile up both straight and gay people on the internet.
Although the dig at Jeff Goldblum is unwarranted, this X user summarized all the fans' wishes in one sentence.
I could always listen to these two belting out vocals. Seeing these two is like pure dopamine—it always makes my day to see two icons having the best chemistry at their press tours.
8. And saving the best for last: when he wore flip-flops to the Jurassic World Rebirth premiere, and now we have some glorious feet pictures of Jonathan Bailey.
Flip-flops at a premiere? Only Jonathan Bailey can pull it off. It got photographers clicking snaps of his feet, and now the internet is flooded with them (for free as well). Looking effortlessly cool is not learned but inherited, and Jonathan has aced it.
Jonathan Bailey's success is only beginning, which means we will be seeing a lot more precious and chaotic moments of the actor in interviews and press tours. And will I ever get tired of seeing him on my screen?
Never.

Channel 4 orders 'Number 10' drama from Steven Moffat

File Photo by Christine Chew/UPI | License Photo Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Channel 4 has announced it ordered Number 10, a drama about those who live and serve at the British prime minister's London residence, 10 Downing Street. Steven Moffat -- who is known for his work on Sherlock, Dracula, Doctor Who and Inside Man -- is writing the project. No casting has been announced yet for the series. "This is a show about the building and everyone inside. Not just the prime minister upstairs, but the conspiracy theorist who runs the cafe three floors below, the man who repairs the lift that never works, the madly ambitious 'advisors' fighting for office space in cupboards. Oh, and of course, the cat," the network said in a press release on Tuesday. "Number 10 is all of Britain in a house: it's British history under one roof. It's how we all got into the mess we're in. It's also our only hope of getting out of it."

Ray Winstone Talks Working With Gary Oldman, Martin Scorsese & Steven Spielberg & Why He Wants To See 'More Films From The British Film Industry' — Sarajevo

British actor Ray Winstone, who is renowned for his tough guy performances in films such as The Departed and Sexy Beast, touched down at the Sarajevo Film Festival this week where he participated in a wide-ranging masterclass about his career, working with Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Gary Oldman, dealing with rejection and why he wants to see more British films in the ecosystem. 'I didn't get much education as an actor,' said Winstone, speaking at the Bosnian Cultural Center on Tuesday. 'But when I was in drama college – I was there for about a year – I was lucky enough to have met a director called Alan Clarke.' 'The performance of that film was nothing to do with me and what I learned was from Alan Clarke. Alan Clarke was a great teacher. I love directors for that reason because you put your trust in them and they're the ones that are educating you, especially when you are at a young age. So, for me, that was my schooling in the profession.' Winstone's role in Gary Oldman's directing debut Nil by Mouth was, he said, a milestone in his career and he credited the Slow Horses actor as being 'probably the greatest director' he's ever worked with. 'It's kind of the undercurrent, the underbelly of where I'm from,' he said about the 1997 London-set drama. 'I'm from a working-class family, but I don't come from a family like that. But I've seen it, and I've heard it. It was a very brave bit of writing to actually write about these things and when I read it, I got it, and I understood it. And Gary's probably the best director I've ever worked with. I say that as an actor, because he understands actors.' Winstone, who is receiving an Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award this week at the festival, also touched on working with Scorsese for The Departed. 'I met him at a hotel in London on a Sunday morning – I think it was The Dorchester. And I was up for playing one of the policemen. I didn't want to play a policeman, and it was kind of a nothing part and I sat down with Marty – I call him Marty now – and we talked about Jack Nicholson's character. I said that he hasn't got anyone to talk to. How do you find out about him?' Winstone then suggested he play Nicholson's character's sidekick friend and Scorsese agreed but requested he wear the leather coat he was wearing in the meeting in the film. 'So, he got a coat for nothing,' quipped Winstone. On working with Spielberg for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Winstone said: 'He loves you standing behind and watching the screen. Martin Scorsese is the same.' He added: 'It's amazing when he makes films. How he shoots – he films differently.' The actor went on to add that he wants to see 'more films from the British film industry' coming into the ecosystem, adding that he loves 'watching British actors.' 'The French do it – they make their own cultural films. The Germans do it. Hopefully you'll do it more here and that's the way it should be. That's where filmmakers come from. The trouble is that they emigrate to America to work with the studios, and they get their hearts broken.' The actor also touched on rejection and the role that plays in one's career, citing his experience on Marvel's Black Widow, where he was called in to reshoot all of his scenes, as a notable low point for him. 'I told them they should recast,' he recalled. 'But I was contracted to do it. So, I went back, they had to do my hair nice, they put me in the suit, and I couldn't do it. I'd already done it. I'd done it already. I've just done this part.' He continued: 'But then you get over it and you just redo the scenes. That's rejection.' The 31st Sarajevo Film Festival runs August 15-22.
