While the British Royal Family's wealth is estimated to be around £69 billion, they are far from the wealthiest royal family in the world.
In the UK, the Royal Family's wealth stems from tangible assets such as properties, as well as the value of the family brand. The Duchy of Cornwall and the Duchy of Lancaster estateincludes land, property and other assets that belong directly to the Sovereign.
Meanwhile, the Savoy Hotel and Somerset House are part of the Duchy of Lancaster estate, with net assets totalling approximately £652.8 million ($755.4m). King Charles' personal fortune is estimated at about £559.6 million ($772 million), making him the 258th wealthiest person in the UK.

However, the world's richest Royal family, the House of Saud, has net worth four times greater than Elon Musk and Bill Gates combined, the Mirror reports.
The ruling Royal family of Saudi Arabia, with a staggering net worth of £1.1 trillion ($1.4 trillion). In comparison, the world's richest man, Elon Musk, has a net worth of £264.8 billion ($304 billion), while Microsoft mogul turned philanthropist, Bill Gates, has a net worth of £81.5 billion ($105 billion).

The House of Saud's net worth is so vast that it is estimated to be roughly 16 times that of King Charles's family, reports the Express.
The Saudi Arabian Royal family's eye-popping wealth, largely derived from vast oil reserves, affords them a life of luxury that includes grand palaces, private jets, extravagant yachts and a highly lucrative art collection. This immense wealth among Middle Eastern Royal families has been a common feature in many regions, despite monarchies having previously held limited authority under the Ottoman Empire.
However, following its collapse after World War I, these monarchies have seen their power and wealth skyrocket. The majority of this wealth is due to the exploitation of valuable resources found within the region, with Gulf monarchies in particular continuing to prosper.
Consequently, Royal families from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are living a dream-like life. The Saudi Royal family alone consists of around 15,000 members, with the lion's share of wealth being held by approximately 2000 relatives.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who has been at the helm since his reign began in 2015, currently heads the family. His most famous son and apparent heir, Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MBS, is also the current Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia and is widely regarded as the country's de facto ruler.
The Royal Saudis, with their immense wealth, have made a number of extravagant purchases over the years. These include properties scattered around the globe like France's Chateau Louis XIV, bought by MBS for a whopping £235 million, and other lavish acquisitions such as Leonardo da Vinci's Salvator Mundi painting for £349.6 million and a staggering £392 million yacht - mere pocket change for such affluence.

Senator Cory Booker says he will not accept any donations from Elon Musk

A leading elected Democrat rejected the idea of taking campaign donations from tech billionaire Elon Musk, whose spectacular fallout with former ally Donald Trump has roiled American politics. Trump on Saturday said Musk will face 'serious consequences' if he moves to support Democratic political candidates in any upcoming elections, following a public rift between the two men over Musk's staunch opposition to the cost of US president's planned piece of landmark domestic legislation. But Cory Booker, a senator for New Jersey, scotched any idea he would take any Musk cash. 'I would not accept money from Elon Musk for my campaign,' Booker told NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday. But Booker added, referring to the Republicans budget bill that Musk has criticized, 'I would be supportive of anybody, including Elon Musk, putting resources forward right now to let more Americans know, sound the alarm, treat this like a Paul Revere moment.' Booker added: 'More Americans have to understand that if this bill passes, average Americans are going to see their costs skyrocket as this president again pushes legislation that is indicative of his chaos, corruption and cruelty towards Americans.' The senator's comments come as Democrats wrestle with the how to turn the dramatic fallout between Musk and Trump into opportunity. Musk turned his back on the party in 2022 and contributed $270m to Trump's re-election campaign in 2024, providing crucial help in the Republican's eventual victory. As the Trump-Musk feud intensified on Thursday, Musk posted on X: 'In November next year, we fire all politicians who betrayed the American people.,' clearly referring to any politician who supported Trump's budget bill. Ro Khanna, a Democratic congressman, reportedly talked with one of Musk's 'senior confidants' on last week about whether Musk might now want to help the Democrats in the midterm elections next year. 'Having Elon speak out against the irrational tariff policy, against the deficit exploding Trump bill, and the anti-science and anti-immigrant agenda can help check Trump's unconstitutional administration,' Khanna told Semafor. 'I look forward to Elon turning his fire against Maga Republicans instead of Democrats in 2026,' Khanna, who has argued that his party was unwise to alienate Musk, told the outlet. However, leftwing politicians, including Vermont senator Bernie Sanders and New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have publicly pictured Musk as what voters should be against: powerful wealthy billionaires seeking influence through politics. Sanders told CNN's State of the Union Sunday that Musk had 'evolved' into an extremist since he voted for Obama in 2008. 'Over the years he has developed into a rightwing extremist. The issue and drama over what happened last week is that we are living, increasingly, in an oligarchic society. Musk said: 'Hey listen, I spent $270m dollars to get you elected. I bought you the presidency …' 'This is a fight between oligarchs. It's a fight about power among the few, and it's really an embarrassment for those of us who believe in democracy and the rule of law,' Sanders added. Musk said last month that he planned to spend 'a lot less' on political campaigns as he scaled back and ultimately exited his time in government, where Trump had tasked him with massively slashing federal spending and jobs. 'In terms of political spending I'm going to do a lot less in the future,' Musk told a Bloomberg forum in Doha. Asked why, he responded: 'I think I've done enough.' But Musk's opposition to Trump's 'One Big Beautiful' bill budget proposal, calling it an 'disgusting abomination', by definition puts him in relative proximity to Democratic positions on that issue. Booker was asked if agreed with Musk about the planned legislation that Trump has made a centerpiece of his administration. 'I agree that it's going to saddle this country with trillions of dollars of debt, endanger our entire economy … This is a morally wrong bill. And it's definitely, definitely an economically wrong bill as well.' 'This is not about right or left, it's about right or wrong,' he added. 'And I welcome Elon Musk, not to my campaign. I welcome him right now, not to sit back and just fire off tweets, to get involved right now in a more substantive way and putting pressure on congresspeople and senators to not do this.'

Full confirmed list of Manchester United ins and outs for summer transfer window

Manchester United are keen to have a busy summer transfer window following a dreadful debut campaign for Ruben Amorim, with more forwards targeted after the Matheus Cunha capture It is a huge summer transfer window for Manchester United. Ruben Amorim's side finished 15th in the Premier League last season and lost the Europa League final to Tottenham, meaning big changes are expected this summer. Mirror Football understands that United are willing to listen to offers for any of their players this summer, with their transfer budget standing at just £100million without departures. Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, who all spent last season away on loan, are top of the list, while Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund are the subject of interest from Italy. ‌ Bruno Fernandes has rejected a mega-money move to Al-Hilal, but Garnacho appears likely to leave after falling out with Amorim at the back end of the season. Garnacho was dropped for the Europa League final and has attracted the attention of Napoli, as well as Saudi side Al-Nassr. ‌ Meanwhile, Hojlund has caught the eye of Inter Milan, who could splash out £40million to sign the misfiring United striker this summer. His future is uncertain with Amorim chasing a number of attackers in the transfer window. After landing Matheus Cunha in a statement £62.5m signing from Wolves, United are interested in both Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo and Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres. Mbeumo scored 20 goals in the Premier League last season, while Gyokeres plundered over 50 for Sporting and could be reunited with Amorim this summer, although there is a lot of competition for his signature. "We always prepare two plans," Amorim said recently. "With and without the Champions League. Without the Champions League, we also don't need a big squad. "We can control the squad in a better way. Then we have a plan, that is to bring in some new players, but our big plan is to improve the team we have, to improve the academy. "It was the past, so it can be the future. It can't change much because of Financial Fair Play, we are not allowed to do much, even with the Champions League, so we are prepared. It's important to stick together. ‌ 'We are going to struggle, it's not going to be everything right away, but I can see the team improving and that's the most important thing." Whatever happens, it's bound to be a busy summer for United, with plenty of incoming and outgoing deals brewing after Sir Jim Ratcliffe oversaw a raft of cost-cutting measures. Here are all the confirmed deals so far. Ins: Diego Leon – Cerro Porteno (£3m) ‌ Matheus Cunha – Wolves (£62.5m) Outs: Christian Eriksen – Released ‌ Victor Lindelof – Released Jonny Evans – Retired Join our new MAN UTD WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Manchester United content from Mirror Football. Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford in another twist as UFC boss Dana White says he IS promoting super-fight

DANA WHITE has insisted he WILL promote the Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford fight - marking yet another twist. Canelo is due to defend his undisputed super-middleweight titles against unbeaten American Crawford in September. 3 Dana White insists he will promote Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford Credit: @danawhite And Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh - the financial backer behind the bout - initially announced that UFC boss White would promote. The super-fight was set for the Las Vegas Raiders' NFL stadium with Netflix on board to broadcast that bout. That was until Alalshikh made a U-turn and claimed Saudi-based Sela would promote and it would instead be on pay-per-view. White was probed on Alalshikh's comments after UFC 316 - but hit back to maintain he will be involved in the fight. I'll let you guys know when it's time to let you guys know." TKO Holdings - who own the UFC and WWE - signed a multi-year partnership to establish a boxing promotion alongside Saudi Arabia's Turki Alalshikh. As well as a UFC-style boxing league, two super-fights were set to be promoted by TKO and White every year. And Canelo's blockbuster against Crawford was due to kickstart the partnership. 3 CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS Then all of a sudden, Alalshikh told Ring Magazine - which he owns - that the date of the bout was set to change. And he was also considering having the bout move to New York or Los Angeles - opposed to the £1.5BILLION, 65,000-seat Raiders Stadium. Three-weight world champion Vasily Lomachenko retires after more than 400 FIGHTS in lengthy video It caused huge confusion with the news the fight would also be under the Riyadh Season banner and on PPV - suggesting White and Netflix were out of the picture. But, White clarified: "Listen, when we're at work in UFC headquarters, I'm in my own little world, man. I don't pay attention to any of that s***. 'I know what's going on, I know what we're doing, I don't really pay attention to that stuff." White has partnered with Alalshikh before having held two events in Riyadh in the past. Canelo, 34, beat William Scull, 32, to regain the 168lb undisputed thrown in early May as part of his four-bout deal with Alalshikh. Meanwhile Crawford, 37, has not fought since moving up to 154lb to win the WBA title against Israil Madrimov, 30, in August 2024. 3 Crawford with Turki Alalshikh and Canelo
