Peter Andre breaks silence on 'drama with exes' as Katie Price slams his wife

Daily Record23-06-2025
Peter Andre has hit out at 'ex drama' and how you should deal with it, days after ex-wife Katie Price made a subtle dig at wife Emily MacDonagh.
Peter Andre has revealed how to handle 'drama with exes' in his weekly New! Magazine column, just days after his ex wife Katie Price hit out at his wife Emily MacDonagh.
Reflecting on her marriage last week, Katie shared that she and Peter's children - especially their daughter Princess - struggle to believe they were once a couple as she and Emily are "just so different."

"I said to her, 'I was with your dad for six years – trust me, we had a laugh, banter together. We did," Katie revealed to comedian Katherine Ryan on her podcast, before continuing: "She can't believe that whenever he went everywhere with me, we were together with the kids – we'd go as a family. She's like, 'Emily doesn't do all that,' for Pete."

Although Peter and Emily have yet to speak out on the comments made by Katie, he did speak on TV Personality Sam Thompson's run-in with his ex Zara McDermott's new boyfriend former One Direction star, Louis Tomlinson, giving his advice to exes, the Mirror reports.
In his weekly column, he penned: "Sam Thompson and Louis Tomlinson were both at Soccer Aid together for an incredible cause. The fact they've both been involved with Zara McDermott at some point is secondary for me.
"I think people will always try to make a fuss about dramas with exes, but we don't know what happened, and having been part of Soccer Aid in the past, I know people just focus on the game and the cause, everything else is left off the pitch. That's how it should be."
Peter and Katie first met on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, and they tied the knot the following year before finally calling it quits in 2009.

Her comments about Emily sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with many suggesting she's jealous of Peter's new life, as one listener remarked: "Price is just jealous because Pete and Emily are happy and love their family. She has never let it go and moved on." As another told her to "get a grip and leave them alone."
Others, however, expressed more sympathy, with one person commenting: "The one who got away. Quite possibly the love of her life."
Amid the backlash, a source told the Mirror that Peter is unhappy about being pulled into what he sees as "ancient history" and is eager for it to end. "Peter moved on a long time ago and is fed up with her talking about him because it was such a long time ago that they split," said the source.
"It has a knock-on effect on his family, especially Emily. He knew their marriage was over when they split up 16 years ago and he just wants her to leave it in the past too. He's very happy with his life."

Strictly Come Dancing fans 'disgusted' and demand BBC take action over new star

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Strictly Come Dancing viewers have been left 'disgusted' by one of the latest celebrities announced for the forthcoming series. The BBC Saturday evening stalwart started revealing its line-up in recent days, ahead of a September debut, but some supporters are unhappy with who has been selected to take part. Thomas Skinner, who is most famous for featuring on The Apprentice, will be displaying his dancing skills for judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Mosi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke in just a few weeks' time, but due to his reputation for controversial opinions shared on social media, some viewers have expressed their disapproval. One supporter posted on X: "Disgusted that grifter Tom Skinner has got the #Strictly gig. Have the BBC not looked at his social media output?" to which another responded: "Somebody who has different political opinions than me is on television. BAN THEM." However, the original poster maintained that wasn't their intention as audiences in large numbers called for his social media history to be examined, reports the Mirror. Another watcher commented: "Oh dear God no. You really think platforming a known bigot is the right way to go for a show which has already had more than its share of troubles?" whilst a third added: "Appalling booking - has the BBC not seen his social media output?" as they all urged the broadcaster to scrutinise his online presence. One fan, when discussing his social media presence, commented: "They probably have, which is why they haven't tagged his account in the announcement! ! What a bizarre choice from them!" However, another Strictly enthusiast was more critical, stating: "I'm so serious, I loved this years #Strictly line up but casting Thomas Skinner has completely ruined the WHOLE thing,". The 32 year old businessman from Essex, now famous for his successful pillow and mattress business, first gained recognition on the 2019 series of Lord Alan Sugar's BBC show, where he lasted until week nine of the competition. Skinner, also known for his frank videos on social media platform X, has attracted hundreds of thousands of followers with his posts about business, politics, and daily life. His online presence has led to an unexpected friendship with US Vice President JD Vance, Donald Trump's running mate. (Image: PA) Vance has expressed support for the businessman on X after Skinner revealed he had received death threats and "vile comments about my children" following a series of tweets in which he stated "something's gone wrong" in the UK and asserted "there is nothing wrong with being proud of where you're from". Just a few days ago, Tom shared a post with Vance, where the two were seen together at a barbecue. He wrote: "Here is a pic of Me and Vice President @JDVance towards the end of the night after a few beers I'm overdressed in my suit, but when the VP invites you to a BBQ, you don't risk turning up in shorts an flip-flops Cracking night in the beautiful English countryside with JD, his friends and family. Once in a lifetime. Bosh!". In a follow-up tweet, he added: "When the Vice President of the USA invites ya for a barbecue an beers, you say yes. Unreal night with JD and his friends n family. He was a proper gent. Lots of laughs and some fantastic food. A brilliant night, one to tell the grand kids about mate. Bosh!".

Great British Bake Off judges and hosts confirmed as trailer for new series drops

Great British Bake Off judges and hosts confirmed as trailer for new series drops There's good news for Great British Bake Off fans as Channel 4 has released a new trailer for the upcoming series. The popular show The Great British Bake Off is poised to return to screens imminently as summer draws to a close. ‌ The beloved Channel 4 culinary programme has remained a television favourite for years, signalling the start of autumn as millions of viewers settle in to observe both triumphant and disastrous baking attempts. ‌ The upcoming series is merely weeks from broadcast as audiences gear up to witness the success, and occasional downfall, of cakes, pastry, and loaves. To herald the approaching new series, Channel 4 has unveiled a sneak peek whilst confirming the presenters and judges, though one remains absent. ‌ Comic Joe Wilkinson assumes the role of narrator for the quirky trailer which seems to unfold in outer space, before baking components materialise. He guides viewers through an exploration of existence, featuring presenters Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond appearing as cartoon figures. Referencing the hosts, Joe remarked: "From it grew life, intelligent life, adorned in knitwear and leopard print." Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding are returning to the Channel 4 show (Image: Channel 4) Article continues below Drawing inspiration from the Big Bang, the trailer envisions a cosmos created not from particles and vapour, but from a magnificent eruption of flour, sugar, and baked delights. Ultimately, it reveals everything originated from the sparkling blue gaze of judge Paul Hollywood himself, reports the Mirror. Judge Prue Leith was absent from the promotional clip for the forthcoming series, though she was represented as a cartoon sun, which had glasses and bright coloured hair. ‌ Channel 4 has confirmed her participation as they stated: " As the ovens fire up and a new batch of bakers steps into the iconic tent to face Paul and Prue, audiences can expect all the classic ingredients - warmth, humour, creativity, and just the right amount of competition. "This autumn, let the universe of Bake Off pull you in once again. Because, as the trail says, once there was nothing, and then there was Bake Off." The Great British Bake Off's return has been confirmed (Image: Channel 4) ‌ A launch date remains unconfirmed for viewers, though it has been hinted as coming "soon". Prior to Prue's omission from the teaser, numerous supporters had questioned her continued involvement with the programme. She took over from Dame Mary Berry as a judge on the television favourite when it transferred to Channel 4 in 2017, and has remained alongside Paul ever since. The celebrated television chef has also gone on to present Prue Leith's Cotswolds Kitchen for ITV and last year featured on The Masked Singer. ‌ Nevertheless, she was absent from presenting responsibilities for Celebrity Great British Bake Off earlier this year, causing viewer anxiety. Many speculated whether she had departed the series, but Prue maintained this was not the situation. Great British Bake Off star Prue Leith addresses exit and why she didn't return for celeb series (Image: ITV) During a guest spot on ITV's Lorraine, she informed audiences that she only stepped back from the celebrity edition because she required a rest, clarifying: "I keep being asked if I'm leaving. ‌ "This is because I left the celebrity [version]. I stopped doing that last year because I just hadn't had a holiday in the summer for eight years. I've only given up Celebrity [Bake Off]." She stated: "I still do The Great American Bake Off, which we are filming at the moment, and I still do The Great British Bake Off, which I love, and is the mother of them all." Prue has no plans to leave the regular version of the show, adding: "It's the best job in telly. It's absolutely the best job in telly, I don't have to learn lines, I don't have to have script. I just walk on and eat cake." Article continues below The Great British Bake Off is set to ait later this autumn on Channel 4.
